Floppy disks are no longer common now, but in the past, this was an important medium for saving materials. At that time, even the hard disk was only a little size, let alone the USB drive. At that time, the USB drive had not been invented at all.

After trying countless times, I finally had to accept this reality. I guess the floppy disk was broken. I saw the concepts of "system disk" and "formatting" in the book. I vaguely knew that the disk that saved the DOS system should be called the system disk. At that time, I had no understanding of the concept of "formatting" at all, and thought that the floppy disk would become a system disk after formatting.

So, I took the opportunity to enter the city and bought a floppy disk at Xinhua Bookstore. At that time, I told the sales staff that I must format the disk for me, because I thought that as long as I formatted it, there would be a DOS system inside, so that I could use it after I went back.

The result is still frustrating. The floppy disk I bought is still unusable, and I still couldn't enter the DOS system. Now, I think about it, mainly because I made a mistake. The floppy disk does need to be formatted before it is used, but after formatting, the floppy disk is a blank disk. If you want to make it into a system disk, you also need to install the DOS system on it.

Later, this BBK learning machine was eventually just played as a gaming machine, and my first computer self-study journey ended in failure.
