Chapter 34 Group of Four, Gather(1/2)

Success!

The wooden stick suddenly struggled and flew out of the troll's hand.

The troll opened his small eyes and looked at the stick in confusion.

This huge and heavy wooden stick slowly but surely rose into the air.

The wooden stick floated higher and higher, almost touching the top of the classroom.

Harry and Ron gritted their teeth and insisted, the veins on their necks jumping.

Rigg pressed Hermione's wand, who was still struggling to maintain the height of the stick.

Hermione withdrew her wand and hugged it to her chest in surprise.

He looked worriedly at Rigg, then at Harry and Ron.

Hermione's brows furrowed tighter and tighter.

After she recovered, her intelligence and thinking ability returned.

She didn't know what Rigg's plan was, but she looked at Harry who was barely holding on and Ron who had never successfully used the levitation spell.

It would be better to let her continue the floating spell.

As soon as Hermione opened her mouth, Rigg shook his head quietly and said nothing, but pointed at the troll who was looking at the stick intently.

Clever Hermione needs no explanation.

She blinked her big eyes and carefully covered her mouth with her hands for fear of attracting the troll's attention.

In an instant, the tail of the huge wooden stick sank and continued to tremble unsteadily.

Only the head of the stick, which Rigg was responsible for lifting, was still raised high.

Harry and Ron watched the wooden stick suddenly sink and looked towards Rigg in panic.

Harry actually looked at Ron first.

Unexpectedly, Ron was still insisting, but Hermione put down her wand.

Rigg shook his head at them and silently gestured to Harry and Ron to put down their wands.

In the quiet bathroom.

The troll tilted his head and looked at the wooden stick, then waved it casually, but did not catch the wooden stick.

Out of trust in Rigg, Harry and Ron also stopped using the levitating spell and put down their wands.

They couldn't hold on much longer, as they had never floated such a heavy object before.

Professor Flitwick only used feathers when teaching the levitation spell!

Now the pressure is all on Rigg.

Rigg held the wand tightly with both hands and gritted his teeth.

The troll was still looking at the stick, wondering what was going on in its almost empty mind.

Rigg adjusted the angle and height of the wooden stick and aimed it at the giant monster.

The giant monster's eyes were filled with that tall wooden stick.

It watched as the wooden stick suddenly fell down rapidly, growing bigger and bigger in its eyes.

Finally, the wooden stick hit its owner's bare head, making an earth-shattering explosion.

The troll swayed on the spot and fell face down on the floor, like a hill.

There was a boom, and the whole room shook.

The foursome were panting and looking at each other silently.

Did it work?

Is the troll dead?

Rigg nervously grabbed his wand and stared at the troll.

If that doesn't work, he's going to be in flames.

After all, it is the only offensive black magic he knows.

Thinking about having to explain it to Principal Dumbledore and the others after using it, Rigg felt dizzy.

Do not use unless necessary!

Ron stood there, staring at what he was doing, his wand still raised high in his hand.

Finally it was Hermione who spoke first.

"Is it—dead?"

"I don't think so," Rigg said. "It was probably just knocked unconscious."

Harry, who was holding his wand, didn't know yet what a terrible encounter he had successfully avoided.

Rig took Hermione with him and walked around the troll to meet Harry and Ron at the door.

Suddenly there was a violent banging on the door and loud footsteps.

All four people in the room looked up.

They didn't realize how much noise there was just now. Others must have heard the violent collision and the roar of the giant monster.

A moment later, Professor McGonagall burst into the room, followed closely by Snape.

Professor Quirrell, who informed the auditorium that there was a troll, was at the back.

Quirrell only glanced at the troll and let out a weak sob.

He sat on a toilet that had not been smashed by the troll, clutching his chest tightly.

Harry recalled the first time Quirrell saw him in the Leaky Cauldron.

"Po-po-Potter," Professor Quirrell stammered and grabbed his hand, "I'm unspeakably happy to see you.

"

The matter was settled, and Harry was relieved. Just thinking of Professor Quirrell's usual appearance made him couldn't help but laugh.

The foursome stood together, waiting for the professor to inspect.

Ron looked at Harry and snickered quietly, then poked him with his wand.

Harry finished talking in a low voice about his previous contact with Professor Quirrell, which made Hermione, who was in shock, couldn't help but smile.

After the battle, the foursome were muttering in the corner.

Snape bent down to look at the troll.

Professor McGonagall looked at the foursome.

Rigg had never seen her look so angry. Professor McGonagall was always kind to him.

Her lips were pale.

"What the hell are you playing?" said Professor McGonagall, with cold anger in her voice.

She was really afraid that she would be late and the students would be harmed.

"You are lucky that you were not killed by it. Why don't you just stay in the dormitory?"

Snape gave Harry a quick and threatening look.

Harry and Ron quickly looked down at the ground, as if there were flowers on the ground.

Rigg looked directly at the professors, and Hermione hesitated to speak.

"Please don't, Professor McGonagall - they're looking for me."

"Miss Granger!"

Hermione licked her lips nervously. She had never lied to professors.

"I came to see the troll because I... I'm in a bad mood today." Hermione said in a hurry.

"I thought I could learn well, but I kept losing to Rigg."

Although she was making excuses, Hermione really wanted to cry when she said this.

His eyes immediately turned red.

Professor McGonagall heard this and looked at Hermione.

I closed my eyes helplessly and felt my temples throbbing.

"If they hadn't found me, I would definitely be dead by now. Rigg, Harry and Ron cast a levitation spell to save me. When they arrived, the troll was about to swallow me whole."

Rigg also added: "It was Hermione's roommate who told us Hermione's location in the auditorium. Professor Quirrell hadn't informed us of the troll at that time."

"Oh - if that's the case..." Professor McGonagall looked at them.

"Hermione didn't know about the troll, so we were worried about encountering her when she came out. And we didn't see the professor at that time, so we went directly to find Hermione because of time constraints."
