Chapter 680: The Method of Cultivating Pulses (Part Two)
Compared with other practice sects such as Taoism, evil, and demons, the methods of various sects in the Buddha world pay more attention to inheritance, and almost all Buddhist teachings can be traced to the ancient gods and Buddhas. But even so, this Dharma cannot achieve the effect of ancient Buddhism. After all, not everyone can have a state of Taoism that deduces Taoism like Xu Changqing, and deduces Taoism in the Taoism state for thousands of years.
There were not many inappropriate things at the beginning when these casual hermits practiced. Even if there were some minor problems, they could be solved by their own talent and insight. But when their cultivation level grew higher and higher and reached the realm of a great achiever, it would be extremely difficult for most of them to take a step forward and to reach the realm of a great achiever. Talent and insight alone was not enough to make up for the shortcomings of their natal Buddhism. Unless they had great opportunities to get guidance from people like Xu Changqing who knew very well about various Buddhist teachings, it would be difficult for them to improve again.
Now this great opportunity is placed in front of them, and Guanyin Bodhisattva promised them to help from the side. Until the spiritual vein is repaired, they will be able to obtain an ancient secret method of gods and Buddhas. This is almost equivalent to giving them a promise to become a great achiever in the title.
Just when all the hermits were excited by the conditions given by Guanyin Bodhisattva, Xu Changqing felt the abnormality. Obviously, such good conditions were not as simple as it seems. Xu Changqing's first thought was that he was thinking that transferring these powerful cultivators from Sumi Lingshan was aimed at himself, because he was also a member of the cultivator. If other cultivators agreed to this condition, he also had no excuse to stay in Sumi Lingshan. Obviously, the other party had already seen that he was not a person in the Buddha realm, and the strength he leaked also made the other party worry. In order to avoid him doing some bad things, the Bodhisattva Vehicle would use this soft method to let him leave automatically.

Staying in Sumi Lingshan is not very useful. But the more you understand Sumi Lingshan, the more you understand each sect, the more questions Xu Changqing has in his heart. For example, is the relationship between the Bodhisattva Vehicle and the Buddha Vehicle? What is hidden in the treasure that the wine monk is looking for, which makes him stay in the Buddha Realm for thousands of years? Before these doubts are completely solved, Xu Changqing is not ready to leave.
Just after thinking about it, Xu Changqing felt that things were not directed at him. Because if the Bodhisattva Vehicle wanted him to leave, there was no need to wake him up in advance. He had already seen that he was not a person in the Buddha realm, and the Buddhism he practiced was extremely important to the treasures that the monk Wumao looked for. Before the treasures were resolved, the monk Wumao could not let him leave.
After removing himself, Xu Changqing looked around again. He soon found that after Guanyin Bodhisattva gave this condition, all the casual hermits except the King of Ganlu Zizai and Venerable Pu Yanguang were extremely excited. The King of Ganlu Zizai smiled calmly at this moment, feeling that he didn't care about the conditions offered, but in fact his smile was more of a sense of understanding, as if he had known about this matter in advance. So there was no unexpected surprise. On the contrary, Venerable Pu Yanguang's face looked a little ugly, as if this condition did not meet his wishes. His eyes looked at the Vajra Hand Bodhisattva and the Four Great Buddha Light Bodhisattvas in the Bodhisattva's vehicle from time to time, and the faces of these Bodhisattvas were as ugly as him.
"So it was targeting them." After seeing this scene, Xu Changqing showed a faint smile on his face.
The monk who had always paid attention to Xu Changqing's meat and wine also noticed Xu Changqing's expression, and guessed that Xu Changqing had seen through the intention of Guanyin Bodhisattva. He couldn't help but secretly praised Xu Changqing's talent. Then he did not avoid the others and said directly: "After the Dharma Assembly is over, please ask Baoguang Dazun to enjoy the face, come to the monk's nest to discuss important matters."
"It's true." How could Xu Changqing not be reluctant to doze off and come to the pillow, so he immediately agreed.
At this moment, the King of Nilu Zizai seemed to act as a guide and took the initiative to respond: "The repair of spiritual veins is a major event in the Buddha's realm. We are also the sentient beings in the Buddha's realm, so we are naturally responsible for all. I am willing to assist you from the side and go to the Demon-Destroying City to suppress the demons."
Seeing that the King of Ganlu Zizai stood up and agreed first. The other wandering cultivators didn't care whether the leader they temporarily rejected had other ideas. They also took the initiative to agree to the conditions offered by Guanyin Bodhisattva. In the end, Venerable Pu Yanguang was left, which forced him to follow the flow and agreed to go to the Demon-Destroying City to guard the city.
After solving these scattered hermits, Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at the Lingshan Masters of each sect and asked, "How are you discussing?"
"I don't know who the supervisors selected by the Bodhisattva Vehicle and the Buddha Vehicle?" Although I knew that I could not change anything, the Peacock King still asked a key question, Tao.
"These three supervising people are the two great masters of Venerable Qianlian and the Endless Unthinking Monk." Guanyin Bodhisattva pushed out the embroidery powers of the two half-step great masters of the Tathagata, and then continued: "The other one is the three Sumeru people who have been serving the monks. Since they are in the Trinity, they are only one person."
When I heard the candidates mentioned by Guanyin Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva Vehicle and the Buddha Vehicle naturally have no meaning. Although other sects also agree with Venerable Qianlian and the endless monk who are quite famous in the Buddha world to become supervisors, they have many objections to the three sects of Sumeru. After all, the three sects of Sumeru are all considered people who rebel the sect, and it makes them feel a little inappropriate, especially the Arhat Vehicle, which Zeng Jin and the three have some celebrations, and the two major sects of Vajra Vehicle are the most opposed.
But even if they object, it has no effect. Just as the Peacock King speculated, this was already the final decision, not to discuss it with them. The situation in Sumi Lingshan has become really strange. While most people are still focusing on repairing the spiritual veins, people such as Peacock King have already seen some very bad things for them. In their opinion, the Buddha Vehicle and Bodhisattva Vehicle, which should have conflicted each other, now seems to have begun to cooperate, which is definitely bad news for other sects in the Buddha world. Because the combined power of the Buddha Vehicle and the Bodhisattva Vehicle is definitely much stronger than the combined power of the other four sects. If the two sects are really united, then even if the other four sects are united, it may be difficult to resist the suppression of the two sects.
Just when many people began to worry that the Bodhisattva Vehicle and the Buddha Vehicle cooperated, some Lingshan Masters who still didn't see the situation clearly continued to get entangled in the repair of spiritual veins and asked: "After talking for so long, the Master has not told me what kind of spiritual objects are needed to repair spiritual veins? In addition, how do we need to cooperate?"
When Guanyin Bodhisattva heard this, he did not answer immediately. Instead, he turned his head to look at the two sect masters. It was not until they nodded that they took out a scroll and sacrificed it in the air. After the scroll was unfolded, soft white light immediately burst out from it, forming a light curtain, and lines of handwriting appeared on it, with various spiritual objects and some methods to repair spiritual veins.
Seeing the spiritual objects and methods written on it, a trace of such an expression appeared on Xu Changqing's face, and soon returned to normal.
In fact, before the Dharma Assembly began, Xu Changqing vaguely guessed what the method used by Bodhisattva Cheng to repair spiritual veins, because he estimated that the ancient demon clan inheritance obtained by Bodhisattva Cheng must have a method of spiritual veins repair. Now it seems that it is true.
During the ancient Honghu period, those powerful people in the prehistoric world had the lowest cultivation level and had the realm of celestial immortals. Every move had great power to destroy the world. It happened from time to time when fighting. Although the spiritual veins in the world had the ability to repair themselves, the repair effect was extremely slow. When the spiritual veins completely recovered, the place and its surrounding areas would turn into deserts. Therefore, the powerful people in the prehistoric world used their own methods and created many methods to repair the spiritual veins.
In the prehistoric period, this kind of method is as popular as the foundation-building method in the three realms of Kunlun. Xu Changqing obtained the memory of Zhenyuanzi. There were at least sixty methods to repair spiritual veins in the memory of Zhenyuanzi. Although most of the methods have failed due to the extinction of spiritual materials, there are still several methods that can be used. At present, the method of repairing spiritual veins that Bodhisattvas took out is one of the most commonly used methods for demons in the ancient prehistoric period. As for the list of spiritual objects they gave, it is completely unnecessary, because this method of repairing spiritual veins is a method of soul sacrifice. The most important thing is not the spiritual vein stake buried in the broken and damaged places of the spiritual vein, but the sacrifice used to sacrifice to heaven and earth. Only the more the soul of the sacrifice is consistent with the great way of heaven and earth, the more perfect the spiritual vein repair. At the most perfect time, it can even turn the damage to the spiritual vein into a small cave and blessed land.
