232 Economizer

H-type fin economizer is such a thing.

Before this new economizer appeared, power plants used a conventional light pipe economizer, which was not as good as heating in pipeline structure. Under this situation, the British discovered the opportunities contained therein.

By transforming ordinary U-shaped or serpentine light pipes into h-shaped fin tubes, or rib fin tubes and butterfly tubes, they increase the heated area and make the water-through pipes more dense, achieving a more efficient coal-saving effect. Due to its scientific structure and welding process, it also has anti-wear properties, gray accumulation degree, structural density and flue gas side resistance that are completely superior to traditional economizers.

This new economizer has been put into production for more than 30 years. The clever British people have successfully blocked this technology, focused on exports, and made a fortune in silence. At this time, several new power plants in China adopted the design of this economizer. The coal consumption advantage is indeed obvious, but the cost consumption is even more obvious. Except for the situation where there is money and nowhere to spend during the design and construction stage of the power plant, basically no power plant will use this expensive economizer. After all, the price is hundreds or thousands of times that of ordinary economizers.

But now the situation has undergone subtle changes. China's power industry has entered the end of a leap forward development. After the period of barbaric construction, it has entered the budding state of scientific and sustainable development.

Of course, this is not important. What is important is that the leaders have begun to have requirements for coal consumption.

Using this new economizer is undoubtedly a simpler and rough method than any project. Without considering the cost, the thermal efficiency of the economizer is 20 percentage points higher than that of the light pipe. If you calculate it roughly, it is equivalent to saving energy by about 12%. Converting to the current coal consumption of 400g, that is 8g.

This has not yet talked about its role in environmental protection and production safety.

However, once the cost is considered, it is not fun. 8g and equipment costs are undoubtedly a sharp contrast. Take the Jibei Power Plant as an example. If several units are replaced with this kind of economizer, the one-time investment will be tens of millions, and it will take three to five years to pay back the cost.

Although three to five years is nothing to say about the life of the power plant, a tens of millions of dollars is definitely a terrible expense. Which leader has given you so much money to wait for you to recover in five years?

Therefore, at this stage, the H-type economizer is still a tower in the sky.

However, it is only a matter of time for domestic engineers who are both smart and brave to overcome this technology blockade. About ten years later, several power equipment manufacturers finally successfully handled this matter. Although the quality is somewhat different from that of British people, it is actually H-type and the price is less than 1/10 of that of British people.

By then, this kind of economizer has reached the stage of popularization, power plants are renovated and new power plants are built, so it is not necessary to do so.
