[Information: Bodhi Patriarch] (No need to read)(1/9)

This is the information, you don’t need to read it. I passed it here and read it myself, so you don’t need to read it!!! Don’t comment after reading it!

———————————————————————

The ancestor, the character in "Journey to the West", accepted Sun Wukong as his disciple and taught him the seventy-two methods of changes and immortality. However, the Bodhi Patriarch predicted that Sun Wukong would cause trouble, so he asked Sun Wukong to keep it secret and never mention the situation of the master and had learned the Tao. Basically, the Bodhi Patriarch was described as a great immortal who was both proficient in teaching and knowledgeable in Buddhism: his magic power was profound, his disciples were numerous, and his education was widely taught. The people in the mountains and fields were all educated. The Bodhi Patriarch not only saved people from the Tao, but also taught some methods to strengthen the body and cultivate the mind and nature to the general public, so he was deeply respected.

The second chapter of "Bodhi Patriarch in Journey to the West (11 photos)" has realized the wonderful truth of Bodhi, and eliminated the devil and returned to the original, and expressed the true meaning of the Monkey King. He received his name and was cheerful and excited. He gave a tribute to Bodhi. The ancestor ordered the public to lead Wukong out of the two gates, teach him how to sweep and respond, and move forward and retreat. All the immortals went out. Wukong went out of the gate and worshiped the senior brothers, and arranged a bedside between the corridors. The next morning, he learned politeness with the senior brothers, preached the scriptures and talks, practiced calligraphy and burned incense, and did this every day. When he was free, he swept the floor and hoe the garden, raised flowers and trees, searched for firewood and burned fire, and carried water and slurry. Everything he used was prepared. He didn't realize it in the cave. He was a six or seven year. One day, the ancestor climbed the altar and sat high, called the immortals to start the great way. It was really:

The sky is falling, and the golden lotus flows over the earth. The wonderful practice of the Three Vehicles of Teachings is complete. The subtle and all things are complete. The tail is slowly shaken and the tail is sprayed with pearls and jade, and the sound is lit and thunder is shaking, and the thunder is shaking the nine heavens. Talk about Taoism and Zen for a while. The three schools cooperate with it is like this. The word "enlightenment" is the principle of "returning to the truth", guiding the mysterious nature of the nature. Talk about Taoism and Zen for a while, and prove the Bodhi Patriarch's essence and the Buddha.

1. Bodhi is a Buddhist

Because the method of ranking the generations in the Bodhi Sect is clearly the method of ranking the Buddhists.

The ancestor said: "There are twelve words in our sect, and you are the tenth generation's young disciple." The monkey king said: "Those twelve words?" The ancestor said: "There are twelve words 'Broad wisdom, true nature, sea Ying, enlightenment and perfect enlightenment'. If you are ranked, you are just right to be 'Enlightenment'. I would like to give you a Dharma name called 'Sun Wukong', okay?" The monkey king smiled and said: "Okay, okay, okay! From now on, he will be called Sun Wukong!" (The first chapter of "Journey to the West")

2. The Bodhi disciples are not weak in their abilities.

One day, the ancestor ascended the altar and sat high, called all the immortals to tell the great way. It was really - Master Bodhi Patriarch

The sky is falling, and the golden lotus flows over the earth. The wonderful practice of the Three Vehicles is complete, and all the subtle practices are complete. (The second chapter of "Journey to the West") The Bodhisattvas have given them. Therefore, they asked the Tathagata to clearly state the root and point out the source. The Tathagata opened his mouth slightly, performed the great Dharma, and promoted the right fruit. They talked about the wonderful scriptures of the Three Vehicles and the Five Aggregations Shurangama. (The eighth chapter of "Journey to the West") It is obvious that Bodhi told his disciples the wonderful method of the Three Vehicles that only Bodhisattvas can learn. The ancestor said: "You are destined to be true, and I am happy to say it. Since you have known the secret mystery in the plate, come close and listen carefully, you should pass on the wonderful path of immortality to your immortality." Wukong kowtowed and thanked him, washed his ears and knelt on the bed. The ancestor said: Know the true secrets of exoteric and escaping, and cherishing the cultivation of life and life without any other words. They are always in spirit, and they are careful to keep it safe and keep it safe and not leak.

The body is hidden, and you will be prosperous after receiving my preaching. The mantras are very beneficial. The screen is used to eliminate evil and want to be cool. The vegetarian food is cool and bright, so you can enjoy the bright moon from the Dantai. The moon is hidden in the jade rabbit and the sun is hidden in the black, and there is a turtle and snake appearance. The main image is connected, and the life is strong, but you can plant golden lotus in the fire. The five elements are used in reverse, and after the work is completed, you will become a Buddha and an immortal. (The second chapter of "Journey to the West") Obviously, the mantras of Bodhi teach Wukong how to become a Buddha lay the foundation for him to become a Buddha in the future. The ancestor said: "Since you are well-versed in the Dharma nature, you will get the roots, and you have been obsessed with the divine body, but you are only guarding against the three disasters and benefits." The ancestor said: "It is not difficult, but you are different from others, so you cannot pass on it." Knowing (The second chapter of "Journey to the West") shows that Bodhi can easily teach people to become Buddhas, which is so powerful.

3. The practice of Bodhi is not inferior to that of Tathagata

Tathagata said: "...I, Xiniu Hezhou, are not greedy or killing, and nourish the energy and hidden spirits. Although the supreme truth is the most true, everyone can live a life..." ((The Eighth chapter of "Journey to the West") Bodhi can escape the eyes of Tathagata's Dharma during the preaching of the Western Niu Hezhou, which shows that Bodhi is not like a fate. There are two Western saints in the Romance of the Gods, one is the Guizhi and the other is Cunti. The Guizhi and the Tathagata in Journey to the West are both the first people in the Western Paradise, so Tathagata is the Guizhi Taoist in the Romance of the Gods, and his junior brother is Cunti. The following is evidence that Bodhi may be Cunti.

4. Bodhi is Cunti

(1). The original work describes Bodhi and Cundi the same. They are both wonderful Western appearances, both of them are great awakening golden immortals, and they are both taught the Three Vehicles. (2). Bodhi is a Buddhist, Cundi, and is also the second leader of the Western teachings. (3). Bodhi is both enlightened by both Buddhas and paths, Cundi is also known as the Taoist, Cundi. (4). Bodhi can easily teach his disciples to become Buddhas, Cundi is also the Ma Yuanhua, Dharma Precepts, Changer Dingguang Immortal, etc. are Bodhi who saves Bodhi to the West to become Buddhas. (4). Bodhi can easily teach his disciples to become Buddhas. Ma Yuanhua, Dharma Precepts, Changer Dingguang Immortal, etc. are Bodhi who saves Bodhi to the West to become Buddhas.

, and even Nezha could not defeat the Dharma precepts at that time. (5). Cundi was the best at saving people and entering Western religions, and Bodhi was the guide of Wukong's entry into Buddhism. Therefore, the Patriarch Bodhi was the Taoist of Zhunti, the second leader of the Western religion. (6). The Patriarch Hunkun cultivated "mysterious spirit energy". He had countless disciples, such as pythons, cows, snakes, beasts, dragons, rolls, lions and monkeys... all kinds of creatures with different images came without rejecting them. The most proud thing was that there were two great disciples. The eldest disciple was called the Taoist of Jie Yin, and the second disciples were named.

The one who called the Taoist Cunti was also very immature and practiced great achievements. The two of them founded a sect, called the Western Sect, and were divided into major and minor leaders. The eldest disciple led the Taoist to learn the method of the Supreme Lord, and his soul transformed into the prince of Gautama Siddhartha, the prince of Kapilava, and was incarnated as a reincarnation and assassination. The little prince Gautama Siddhartha was also a person with a vast immortal heart and a genius. Later, the prince sat alone under a Bodhi tree, and suddenly realized his skills.

After realizing the great way, everyone calls him "Buddha" and respects him as the Venerable Sakyamuni. Since then, Sakyamuni has become so rippling that he founded a sect called Buddhism. The second disciple, Taoist Shunti, is the Western wonderful Dharma ancestor Bodhi mentioned in the book. During this period, he did not know what happened to the Taoist Taoist, but mysteriously disappeared and he never heard of any traces. Many years later, one day, the stone monkey born in the sky came out of nowhere and obtained a mysterious Bodhi Patriarch who taught a surprising body of Taoism.

5. Revealing the Identity of Bodhi

one.

"Journey to the West" and "Fengshen Yi" are closely related to the Ming Dynasty's works "Journey to the West" and "Fengshen Yi", I think you will definitely be familiar with them. Myths such as "Sun Wukong's Stirring to the Heavenly Palace" and "Nezha's Stirring to the Sea" derived from the two works are even more well-known and well-known. Although the two novels tell stories from different dynasties, the characters in them are closely related. For example, Li Jing, Nezha, Muzha, Yang Jian and others are reflected in both books. The Manjushri Guangfa Tianzun, Samantabhadra, Cihang Taoist, and Radeng Taoist in "Fengshen Taoist" have been cultivated to the right body after several years and joined Buddhism. Later, they became Manjushri Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Radeng Ancient Buddha respectively. These characters also appeared in "Journey to the West". It can be seen that the two works are so closely related. 2.

Introduction to the powerful characters in "Journey to the West" and "The Romance of the Gods"

1. "Journey to the West" two giants a.

Tathagata Buddha, Tathagata Buddha, is the venerable Sakyamuni in the Western Paradise, Namo Amitabha Buddha. He cultivated a six-foot golden body on the top of the Lingshan Mountain, Lingshan, Xiniu Hezhou. This man has great supernatural powers and infinite magic power. As soon as he appeared, he resolved the great disaster in the heavenly court. Later, he showed his skills many times, helping Wukong overcome many hardships. He can be called the giant in "Journey to the West". b. Bodhi Patriarch Bodhi Patriarch is an old immortal overseas. He lives in seclusion in the deep mountains without showing his head and feet. Although his magic power is boundless, no one knows it. This great immortal only took three years to make Sun Wukong learn the art of immortality, the skills of Seventy-Two Transformations and Somersault Clouds. This pair of Wukong who made a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace in the future and finally laid a good foundation for becoming a Buddha. It can be seen that Bodhi Patriarch is not an ordinary person.

2.

"The Romance of the Gods" Five Sect Masters a. Lao Tzu is Taishang Laojun. He is the eldest disciple of the ancestor Hongjun and is in charge of the People's Education. He went down the mountain three times to help the Chan Cult retreat the immortals of the Jie Cult. He also transformed into the Three Pure Ones and defeated the Tongtian Sect Master. In "Journey to the West", he lives in the Heaven of Liheng. He is the ancestor of the Hunyuan Sect in Taiqing, one of the leaders of the Three Pure Sects, and is also called Taishang Laojun. b. Yuanshi Tianzun Yuanshi Tianzun is the second disciple of the ancestor Hongjun and is in charge of the Chan Cult. He has many disciples, among which he does not

There are no famous people. Like the three Bodhisattvas of Manjushri, Samantabhadra, Guanyin in Buddhism, and the Juliusun Buddha in the "Seven Buddhas of the Past". Yang Jian, Nezha, Li Jing and others were all his disciples. Later, he became the head of the Three Pure Sects - the ancestor of the Innate Sect of Yuqing Holy Land in "Journey to the West". c. The leader of the Tongtian Sect, Tongtian Sect, was the third disciple of the ancestor Hongjun, who was in charge of the Jie Sect. His disciples had the most disciples, but most of them were just filling in the numbers. However, he also did it for God.

A lot of contributions were made. For example, the twenty-four constellations, Lei Gong and Ding Mother, and the stars of the Jade Emperor were almost all his disciples. The Tongtian Sect Master listened to the slander of his disciples and set up the "Zhu Xian" and "Wan Xian" formations, blocking Jiang Ziya's way. Later, thanks to the four major sect leaders working together to break this formation. He was another leader of the Three Pure Sects - the ancestor Lingbao Tianzun of the Tongtian Sect, the holy land of Shangqing. d. The Taoist of the Taoist of the Taoist of the West is the leader of the Western Sect and lives in the Western Paradise. This person

He was six feet tall and had a yellow face. He had never left a place of purity for many years. Later, he was promised by others and took down the Savior Sect with three relics and broke the evil formation of Tongtian with Laozi and Yuanshi. e. Zhunti Taoist Zhunti Taoist was the second leader of the Western Sect. He had come to the East to save people with destiny many times. He was more enlightened than Gui Yin, and he also helped the Academic Sect solve dangers many times. It can be said that both paths were understood. The blessing of the Divine Pestle and the Seven Treasures Miao Tree in his hand were truly boundless. The Tongtian Sect Master was defeated twice by Zhunti.

three.

There is a clue hidden in "Journey to the West" Sun Wukong's master, Bodhi Patriarch, is an immortal outside the world. Since Sun Wukong practiced Taoism for 7 years in the Sanxing Cave and practiced martial arts for 3 years, he revealed the Lingxiao Palace, so many people became very interested in his master, Patriarch Puti. So who is this person? Didn't even leave any clues in "Journey to the West"? The answer is no. Let's first look at the residence of Patriarch Bodhi. Patriarch Bodhi lived in seclusion in "Lingtai Fangcun Mountain, Seiling Moon Sanxing Cave" in Hezhou, Xiniu. "Lingtai Fangcun Mountain" takes the first and last word "Lingshan", and "Siling Moon Sanxing" is a thing in the sky, which implies "Sky". Put them together and means: "Lingshan in the sky". And we know that the Buddha Tathagata lived in Xiniu.

Is it really a coincidence that the names of these two mountains are so similar? Will there be any connection between the Bodhi Patriarch and the Buddha Tathagata? When Sun Wukong first met Bodhi Patriarch, Wu Chengen described it like this: "I saw that Bodhi Patriarch sitting upright on the stage, with thirty little immortals standing under the stage on both sides. It turns out that: the Great Awakening Golden Immortal has no dirt posture, the Western Awesome Awesome Ancestor Bodhi; the birth and immortality are three or three actions, and the whole energy and the full spirit are all compassionate." (See the first chapter of "Journey to the West".). It can be seen that Bodhi Patriarch is also a venerable in the West. Bodhi is a symbol of Western Buddhism. Does this mean that Bodhi Patriarch is a Buddha and not the Tao? If he is a Buddha, why is he well aware of Taoist culture? If he is a Tao, why is there a saying that "The Western Awesome Awesome Ancestor Bodhi"?

Four.

In "The Romance of the Gods", we cannot solve the mystery of the identity of Bodhi Patriarch. But we know that the characters in "The Romance of the Gods" are closely related to the characters in "The Romance of the Gods". I have already mentioned this before. The Bodhi Patriarch in "The Romance of the West" gives people the feeling that Buddhism and Taoism is one. In "The Romance of the Gods", there is a Taoist like Buddha and not Buddha - the Western religion. There are two leaders in Western religions, with boundless magical powers and great powers. They once helped Taishang Laojun and Yuanshi Tianzun to defeat the "Zhu Xian Formation" and "Ten Thousand Immortals Formation" set up by the leader of Tongtian. They can be called the two top masters of "The Romance of the Gods". One of them is called the Taoist Taoist Zhiyan, and the other is called the Taoist Zhu Shunti.

1. The Buddha of the Tathagata VS The Buddha of the Tathagata lives in the Western Pure Land, with a height of 60 feet and yellow face. It reminds people of the Buddha of the Tathagata who has cultivated a golden body in Journey to the West. The two look so similar, and they are both in charge of the Western Pure Land. Are they the same person? Let's take a look at the descriptions of the two characters by the two authors. a. The following paragraph is from Chapter 78 of "The Romance of the Gods": The Taoist of the Tathagata who has cultivated into a golden body with six feet and a half feet.

From the east land, I saw my feet stepping on the auspicious clouds, and I suddenly came to the reed tent. Guangchengzi came to report to Laozi and Yuanshi, saying, "The two respected teachers in the West have arrived." Laozi and Yuanshi led the disciples to come down to welcome him. Seeing a Taoist man, he was six feet tall. But I saw: the great immortal barefoot jujube and pear fragrance, and his feet stepping on the auspicious clouds were even more abnormal; the twelve lotus platforms performed magic weapons, and white light appeared beside the Eight Destiny Pool. Life is the same as heaven and earth, and blessing is not crazy than Hongbo's saying; cultivation of relics and fame breath, and leisure and happiness is the West. It is said that Laozi and Yuanshi welcomed and guided him, and Zhunti went up to

After reading the Lu Peng, bowed his head and sat down.b. Look at the description of Tathagata in the seventh chapter of Journey to the West: I saw the barefoot immortal coming again. I bowed to the Jade Emperor and bowed to the fontanelle, and thanked the Buddha: "I feel deeply the magic power and subdued the demon monkey. There is nothing to show respect. I specially exchanged two pears and several fire dates to offer." The poem says: The great immortal barefoot dates and pears are fragrant, and the longevity is considered long. The seven treasures of Lotus Taishan are as stable as the flower seats are like brocade. Longevity is the same as the heaven and earth, and the blessing is not crazy than Hongbo's words. Lust is really true,

In the West, the Tathagata also called thanks. He was called Ana and Kashyapa, and put away the offerings they offered one by one and gave a banquet to the Jade Emperor. c. In "The Romance of the Gods", there is another paragraph: Three relics appeared on the top of the Taoist Taoist, and shot the sword of the Immortal Killing. The sword was like a nail, how could it be? The leader of the Western Sect entered the Immortal Killing Gate and stood in the Immortal Killing Gate. Many factors show that the Taoist Taoist was the Buddha of Tathagata who established Buddhism several years later. Western Buddhism was the predecessor of Buddhism.

2. Zhunti Taoist VS Bodhi Patriarch Let’s take a look at the two works’ evaluations of the other two: a. Zhunti Taoist’s first appearance was seen in Chapter 61 of “The Romance of the Gods”: Manjushri Guangfa Tianzun heard someone shouted behind his head, “Brother Taoist’s sword is left behind!” Guangfa Tianzun reviewed and could not recognize who this person was; he put on his head, wore a Taoist robe, and had a yellow face. The Taoist said, “I bowed my head!” Guangfa Tianzun replied, saying, “Where are you here? What’s the matter with me?” Taoist said, “It turns out that Daoist Brother can’t recognize me. I will tell you all, and then you will know that: The Great Awakening Golden Immortal is the same. The Western wonderful Dharma Ancestor Bodhi; it is neither born nor destroyed, and the whole energy is full of spirit and spirit is all kind. Empty and silence naturally follow the changes, and the true nature is the nature of

It is the same as the heaven, and the great master Mingxin. The Taoist said: "I am the Taoist of Cunti under the Western teachings." b. The Bodhi Patriarch made his debut. Seeing the first chapter of "Journey to the West": I saw the Bodhi Patriarch sitting upright on the stage, with thirty little immortals standing under the stage. It turns out that: the Great Awakening Golden Immortal has no dirt posture, the Western Awesome Ancestor Bodhi; it is neither born nor destroyed, and the whole energy and the whole spirit are all compassionate. The emptiness and silence naturally follow the changes, and the true nature is to do it; the same as the heaven, and the great master Mingxin. The Taoist of Cunti in "The Romance of the Gods" is an enlightened person. He has come to the East to save people with destiny many times. He is quite familiar with Eastern Taoism. He is also the second leader of Western teachings. He is naturally even more familiar with Buddhist culture.

The Bodhi Patriarch in "Journey to the West" is like a Buddha and a Taoist. It is named Bodhi and practices Taoist. It can be seen that he has a deep relationship with Western Taoism. One of them is in charge of the Western Pure Land, and the other lives in seclusion in the Xiniu Hezhou. All signs indicate that Bodhi Patriarch was the Taoist Master Cunti. However, later Western religion was incorporated into (or turned into) Buddhism, and the Taoist Master was renamed as the Buddha of Tathagata, and he was the disciple of the Buddhist disciple. The Taoist Master Cunti was renamed Bodhi Patriarch, retired to the mountains and forests, and cultivated his body and nature. Five. The answer was revealed. Based on the comments of the above two articles and four poems, we can draw a conclusion. That is, Bodhi Patriarch is the Taoist Master Cunti, the junior brother of the Buddha of Tathagata. The two of them once jointly held Western teachings. Later, Tathagata cultivated six feet of gold

The body established Buddhism and annexed the Western religion. From then on, the Bodhi Patriarch also lived in seclusion in the mountains and forests, named the high mountain "Lingtai Fangcun Mountain", which was opposite to "Tianzhu Lingshan". Later, he established his own Taoist temple to cultivate oneself and cultivate one's nature. No one knew where his residence was. It was the Tathagata, and he did not know where his junior brother was. He did not know that there were immortals in Xiniu Hezhou. Tathagata once commented on Xiniu Hezhou like this: "I, Xiniu Hezhou, are not greedy or killing, and nourish the energy and hidden spirits. Although the supreme truth is the supreme truth, everyone can live a life" (see Chapter 8 of "Journey to the West". It can be seen that the Tathagata who is in Xiniu Hezhou does not know the existence of Bodhi Patriarch. From this we can see that Bodhi's Taoism is not inferior to the Tathagata at all. It can even avoid the Tathagata's eyes.

6. There is another saying

1. The theory of "Bodhi is Cundi, and the guidance is Tathagata" is not very credible. There is a popular version of "Bodhi is Cundi, and the guidance is Tathagata". I respect other people's views, and it is of course a good thing for a hundred schools of thought to contend. But when I posted before, many of the so-called "truth" and "standard answers" of "Bodhi is Cundi" directly denied my view, and I didn't even read my posts. I think this is unfair. Each has its own argument, don't use the "answer" you think, which is unfair to the new theory. In fact, there are several obvious loopholes in that view. Let me refute the argument first and then make a statement. Let's talk about the shortcomings of the theory of "Bodhi is Cundi":

1. This view later, Cunti was dissatisfied with the dictatorship and lived in seclusion in Fangcunshan in anger. This is obviously YY. There are no foreshadowing or clues in the two books, so this should not be justified!

2. This view cannot explain the reason why Randeng, Manjushri and other five people abandoned the Tao and entered the interpretation, and it cannot explain that Randeng, as a guide, became an ancient Buddha above the Tathagata.

3. Novelists must have created characters out of their own intentions. Bodhi's mysterious identity was given by Lao Wu, which means that Lao Wu knew Bodhi's true identity, and Bodhi's identity was finalized. It was just because of the secret or foreshadowing of the novel. It was hard to explain it clearly. There are many such secrets in the Red Chamber. But everyone knows that if the characters in A's novel are to be verified as characters in B's novel, they must have written novels before A's novel, otherwise it would be nonsense. If the gods were engraved before Journey to the West, then Lao Wu deliberately linked him with the Taoist Cunti when he created the character Bodhi. But the fact is that Journey to the West was engraved before the gods! Think about it, Lao Wu didn't know at all when he wrote Bodhi.

There is Cundi in the world, how can we pull these two people together? It can be seen that the Bodhi identity in Lao Wu's heart is absolutely impossible for Cundi, because he doesn't know who Cundi is. The novels written later can refer to the novels written in the previous ones to create characters, but on the contrary, it is not possible to verify. For example, I am writing a novel now, and someone's description uses the poem of Bodhi in Journey to the West. If my novel becomes popular, you can say, "The identity of Bodhi in Journey to the West is someone in Ruixiang's novel, and there is a poem as evidence." If this is the case, it will be over, because Lao Wu could not think of the characters I wrote when he wrote Bodhi. So from the perspective of the time of the book, Bodhi cannot be Cundi, because Bodhi was determined by Lao Wu, and Lao Xu cannot change it.

4. There are dozens of poems about people and scenery in the Gods. I took a closer look at the poems about Tathagata, which made me laugh and cry. The first sentence of the poem about Tathagata in Journey to the West was "The Great Immortal's Barefoot Jujube and Pear Fragrance". At that time, the Tathagata took down Wukong, and the Antian Conference was held in the sky. Many gods offered fruits to Tathagata, and the bare-foot Immortal gave two dates to Tathagata, and then that poem. It was obvious that the first sentence was about the great immortal, not the Tathagata. However, Lao Xu actually changed the seventh-grade lotus platform in the poem into the twelve lotus platform, and thought he could get away with it, but he actually directly attracted the sentence of writing the great immortal barefoot, which was really ridiculous. This shows that the poem about the great immortal in the Gods obviously directly copied the story of Journey to the West.

Whether it is a scenery or a person, some of them are not even changed, causing a big joke. It can be seen that Lao Xu did not intentionally associate Cundi with Bodhi and Guizhi with Tathagata, but simply copied poems directly. What's more, he was not qualified to give Bodhi an identity, after all, this is a person created by others. Other scene-describing poems such as Huoyun Cave in the Conquest of Gods, Kunlun Mountain, Beihai, etc., obviously copied Wudang Mountain, Fangcun Mountain, etc. in Journey to the West, etc. Poems such as Cundi in the Conquest of Gods, Kong Xuan copied the Golden Immortal and Tang Monk in Journey to the West. If Cundi copied Bodhi and Guizhi copied Tathagata to determine his identity, is Kong Xuan a Tang Monk? To sum up, the credibility of the theory of "Bodhi is Cundi, and Tathagata is Guizhi" is not high.

2. Bodhi Patriarch should be the incarnation of a master. Some friends will ask, will Bodhi Patriarch be a real alien? I personally think no, he should be a master who is transformed by the author. The reasons are as follows:

1. Bodhi is so powerful, but no one in heaven knows it, and there is no one in mythological figures.

2. Bodhi is proficient in various schools of thought, understands the three religions of Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, and Taoism, and Buddhism. How can a person who is as capable as Taoism and Buddhism silently disappear?

3. Sun Wukong's aptitude is hard to come by. If Bodhi was a real alien, he would not have predicted that the monkey would come to him. But he still taught disciples in Fangcun Mountain. Judging from his ability to teach Wukong, his ability should be very high, but he taught so many students and was completely useless. Even if they could not reach the realm of Wukong, they should have some reputation. Why are they unknown? What is Bodhi busy with? The appearance of Wukong reflects his value. If Wukong does not appear, is he so capable and will run a school to cultivate garbage in the human world? It can be seen that Bodhi is definitely not an actual existence, but someone has transformed. He predicted the place where Wukong was going, so he transformed into Bodhi. It doesn't matter if his disciples' garbage may be transformed. It may be all created by him and are temporary.
