Chapter 65 Dumbledore's Heir?
When the trio came out of the school hospital, their faces were filled with warm smiles. Just now, Dumbledore added two hundred points to them in order to commend their outstanding courage and shared the school's special contribution award together.
Of course, some numbers need to be eliminated from the bonus points - past violations of school orders will not be investigated, but today's behavior - each of the trio's violations of the ban was deducted by 20 per person, and Ron deducted 50 for Professor Lockhart's misconduct, plus a month's confinement.
Even so, they won 490 points for their academy at one time.
This basically means that Gryffindor locked in the Academy Cup ahead of schedule.
"I think it's worth it!" Even Ron, who was going to be locked up for a month, had no objection.
If he wins the Quidditch championship again, this year will be perfect... Harry thought a little greedy, but there is still a chance!
At the end of the conversation, Harry and Dumbledore had a separate conversation. In this private conversation, he mustered up the courage to express his long-anxious doubts, that is, whether he was assigned to the wrong academy. After all, the Sorting Hat strongly implies that he would achieve great success if he was in Slytherin.
Dumbledore's words completely reassured him, pointing at the Gryffindor sword on the table and said to him: "Only the real Gryffindor can pull it out of the hat."
He also figured out why he knew the snake accent. According to the principal, Voldemort transferred part of his ability to his body that night.
This left Harry stunned.
"Living as you wish is more meaningful than tangling with an unchangeable past," Dumbledore told him.
...
It was completely dark, but the shadows that had covered Hogwarts for two months finally dissipated.
Ron suddenly spoke, "What do you think Professor Hepp's words just now mean? That's Gryffindor, Slytherin and so on..."
Harry thought of his behavior tonight and said with emotion: "I guess it may be a trait that different colleges value? Just like the courage that Gryffindor appreciates, the calm and self-control advocated by Slytherin."
"If you don't say it, I almost forgot that Professor Hepp is a Slytherin," Ron murmured in a low voice.
Hermione didn't say anything. She remembered her first private magical class. Professor Happ was particularly interested in the school hat. His original words were "Maybe you should find an opportunity to introduce yourself again with it?"
The little witch felt that this professor was just looking for an excuse to wear a branch hat again...
When they returned to the public lounge, the three of them hid in the corner and exchanged their respective information in detail. Hermione's words surprised them the most. The three professors actually stood by from beginning to end.
"How could they do this?" Ron said angrily. He felt like he was going to die several times.
"With them here, we are not in danger of life." Hermione's rational analysis.
"I just want to know why we tried our best to kill the snake monster, and they watched the fun!" Ron was still complaining.
"I think President Dumbledore might be trying to test us. Do you still remember last year?" Harry said thoughtfully. "Vodemort was not dead. This was what Dumbledore told me at the time, and he said that Voldemort would return one day."
"Does Dumbledore want to cultivate us as heirs to resist the mysterious man?" Ron said with a blushing face, as if just saying this inference was enough to excite him, "Dumbley is not young anymore, and I mean, it's time for him to think about this issue, right?"
Dumbledore's heir sounded much more perfect than Slytherin's heir.
The three of them couldn't help but become quick at the same time.
Secret room.
Dumbledore, Snape, Felix and Professor McGonagall stood beside the corpse of the basilisk. Professor McGonagall was here for the first time and she couldn't help but look at the place.
"It's like a dark and terrifying nest." She whispered.
Felix touched the pupils of the snake monster with his fingers - most of it was destroyed by Fox, and the black blood contaminated most of the snake's face. He finally collected some clean materials.
He was very interested in the snake monster's talent to "glare someone to die", which was also something he was extremely afraid of - but he was just afraid of it. He had too many ways to avoid looking at it directly.
But what he was curious about was what would happen if Dumbledore and the Basilman looked at each other?
Will Dumbledore be killed by the gaze of the basilisk? When Felix saw the principal's terrifying magic source, his heart was shaken.
In front of a wizard of this level, is the "death stare" of the snake monster really useful?
Just like himself, he can resist one or two coma curses.
Felix analyzed Dumbledore's strength while collecting various materials on the basilisk. Professor Snape also did the same thing.
No matter it is snake venom, snake teeth, blood, or scales, he will refuse everyone.
On the other side, Dumbledore was talking in a low voice with Professor McGonagall.
"Abus, I think we should make a good publicity so that the outside world can see that we have solved the trouble in the secret room so that they will not talk nonsense." Professor McGonagall naturally read the previous report and felt angry.
"Minerva, I'm not against this, but I'll have to wait a few days..."
"Why?"
"Lucius Malfoy has been very active on the school board recently, and he seems to think that this is a good opportunity to drive me out of school," Dumbledore said without complaint.
"How dare he!" Professor McGonagall yelled angrily.
"As far as I know, Lucius threatened many school directors. Maybe in these few days, he would attack me..."
"Dumbledore, then what should we do?"
"Just wait." Dumbledore's eyes seemed to penetrate the ceiling above the secret room and see the scenery further away.
Felix and Snape also initially formulated a plan to divide the basilisk materials in a series of verbal confrontations.
He also found Lockhart's wand. After rinsing it with the "Qing Water Like a Spring" spell several times, except for the lingering strong smell, he could not tell from the appearance that it had experienced at all.
Hopefully Lockhart won't dislike it.
They then transferred the corpse of the zodiac monster to an abandoned classroom and locked the door with magic - when the school released this information, they would split the zodiac monster.
When Felix returned to his office, he realized that it was almost nine o'clock.
Hogwarts is still imposing a curfew, and there are few people in the corridor, but in a few days, the fun of the past will be restored.
Sitting on the sofa, Felix was still thinking about the secret room.
The secret room was found, and the snake monster was dead, but there was a Slytherin heir in the castle.
Or simply, in Felix's mind, he specifically refers to a little wizard controlled by Voldemort's Horcrux.
How to pull him/her out?
If he really causes big trouble, he will not accept it if Hogwarts closed for two months for a thorough inspection.
Felix was thinking about his response strategy when a sudden burst of knocks came from outside the door.
He pushed open the door and saw a little wizard who surprised him - Draco Malfoy.
Strangely, Malfoy's face was very pale, with a layer of fine beads of sweat at the tip of his nose. He was still holding a long, dark green striped scarf in his hand - at the other end of the scarf, about two meters away from him, dragging an ordinary black notebook.
It can be seen that Malfoy is trying hard to keep himself away from that thing.
