Chapter 636 After Halloween

The office door is open.

"Hello," Felix stared at Harry with a expressionless face, Ron and Hermione, Harry and Ron flinched and took a step back. "Don't sleep so late... I'm going to the professor's office at night... Is there anything to do with me?" Behind them, Ginny rolled her eyes and her eyes kept jumping between them; Luna looked dazed.

When I heard the word "night trip", all my questions were held in my throat.

Hermione hid her fierce eyes, held Valen and said in a whisper: "Oh, professor, let's come and return Valen to you... Do you know where we found her? It's so far."

Felix blinked and muttered, "I'm also surprised. I just drank a glass of water and the little guy disappeared... Thank you."

He reached out to take Valen over, but Hermione pulled his hand back and let him slam it. She held Valen, staring at him one by one, one by one, both of them, as if shocked that he could completely shirke him. Valen was excitedly thrusting in Hermione's arms, chirping and scolding him, looking heartbroken.

"What is Valen talking about?" Hermione asked knowingly.

"Thank you for sending her back." Felix glanced at her angry sniff and said calmly.

Hermione bulged her cheeks. The only one who could be so annoying was the professor herself. She let go of her worries and gave Valence to Felix. After thinking for a while, she said, "Well... Professor? I have accumulated some questions on ancient magical texts recently. Can you come here to ask you for advice tomorrow?"

"...Don't come too early, I want to sleep in." Felix said dryly, so Hermione pretended to be obedient and retreated behind and stopped talking, turning his gaze to the others.

Harry and Ron shook their heads quickly. They were forced to come by Hermione. Although they had questions, it was obviously not a good time to ask questions. A gray-green glow had already appeared in the sky. The wind and howlings from the forbidden forest made them just want to return to the warm and comfortable bed, and they would have training tomorrow.

Ginny also waved her hand and said she had no questions. Luna asked calmly: "Professor, does the horned snoring beast really exist?"

Felix hesitated for a moment and said, "I can't give you the answer, maybe it really exists in a corner of the world-" Luna's eyes that were prominent outwards opened in surprise. "I think so too! So I chose the Fantastic Animal Protection Class!"

"—Yes, it's pretty good. But you have to be mentally prepared. Not all searches will have good results."

"Like the Resurrection Stone?" Luna asked.

"Yes," Felix said slowly, "but it's not the same. I promised to pay attention to it for you, do you remember?"

Luna smiled and looked happy.

"Oh, yes! I remember." She said, "Maybe Ferrenze is right. Time comes and it will appear on its own. Just like the things I lost." Ginny said with a straight face: "That's not what you lost, someone deliberately hid them and teased you."

"You are right." Luna said slowly, "Good night, oh, good morning. I'm going to go back and sort out my letters. Dad has to send two letters every week this year. I can't recite them anymore, so I can only put them up first." She left flutteringly.

Ron stared at her back.

"What letter?"

After sending them all away, Felix closed the door and turned around and saw Valen jumping onto the sofa, writing in the air with a quill pen in his hand. In the blink of an eye, two lines had been written, and there was no intention of stopping at all, as if he was preparing to make a long speech.

Felix glanced at the word at the beginning, which was a 'liar'. He walked over and grabbed Sniff with a smile, "Oh, what are you practicing? It's so late, go to bed, go to bed."

Valen watched desperately as the accusation became farther and farther away from him. "Bang!" The bedroom door closed, and the magic lamp was also turned off. Only a few lines of crooked words shining in the darkness, proving that tonight was not peaceful.

The castle turned into ice and snow, and it fell for two consecutive days, and the ground was covered with a thick layer of deep knee-length snow.

Felix was lazily lying on the sofa wrapped in a quilt, with a letter on the small table from Carlotta Pinkstone, whom the seventy-four-year-old activist eagerly called him "my dear, a comrade-in-arms I've never met." Obviously, Carlotta thought it would be possible to fight for Felix to stand on her side, and she might have made up a lot of lessons in the past few days, and to do her best to mention his contribution to the magic world, now "urgently hope to meet again."

She also told Felix to be cautious, saying that she was "not convenient at the moment" because the evil Ministry of Magic sent two people to monitor her, "one clumsy and one overly enthusiastic; the other was cold and cold, full of aristocratic hypocrisy and arrogance."

Felix thought for less than half a minute, then picked up the quill and wrote a simple letter to Tonks, asking about her current situation.

The owl brought a reply in less than half an hour.

Felix took out the map and searched for a while, and found the two names at the Three Broom Bar in Hogsmeade Village. Surprisingly, he also saw Collins Foley, but he could not associate her with the 'noble hypocrisy and arrogance'.

There was a knock outside the door.

Felix stared at the door with his eyes empty, and the door opened by itself. Hermione jumped happily in. She came here the next day, reasoning to ask how to apply the Book of Magic. But Felix kept waiting for her to ask about her experience of mistakenly entering the Hogwarts campus in the forties that night.

"Please sit, Miss Granger."

Felix stood up, wrapped himself in the quilt to change clothes in the bedroom, and brought two cups of hot cocoa when he came back. "Thank you," said Hermione, pointing to the letter on the table, "They were in Hogsmeade last weekend. Oh, sorry, I accidentally saw it when I moved the table."

"Hogsmeade? Who are you talking about?"

"Tonks, Collins, and Carlotta Pinkerson," Hermione sipped hot cocoa and said happily, "Ron ran into them last weekend in Hogsmeade village."

Felix nodded, not talking much.

"Professor," Hermione inhaled gently, "If you don't plan to contact her, it's better to tell her directly."

"It's not the time," Felix muttered.

He thought for a while and said, "You can write me a reply letter, and just say--Well, I can't go against the Ministry of Magic, the rules are very important--Yes, just tell her." Hermione quickly wrote a text message and handed it to him. Felix smiled, "It's great."

When the owl flew out the window, Hermione said, "She will definitely not give up."

Felix shrugged. "But that's what happened in the future. Okay, Miss Granger, let's continue to talk about the Book of Magic. Currently, there are only two people in this world who have them, and there are too few samples. Many conclusions can only be guessed and then verified... Do you think it will be of great help to you?"

Felix wanted to know the influence of the Book of Demonic Text on ‘Overall People’, that is, those who are not masters of Demonic Text.

"I can't say it well," Hermione thought seriously. "I have been busy filling my understanding of the magic text for more than a month. You mentioned very little feedback, but I do feel that my control over the ancient magic text has become stronger... I just don't know if it's an illusion, and other students have made great progress."

"How many ancient magics have you mastered?"

"Including the two taught in class, there are five in total." Hermione stretched out a hand.

Felix fell into deep thought.

"The effect may not be seen in the short term. When you are reading the Book of Magical Texts in the future - I believe you will do this. If you suddenly feel that you have any wonderful ideas, don't suppress it, let reason take a momentary rest and give it to yourself inspiration, you may have unexpected gains."

“Yes, professor.”

Nearly noon, Valen came out in a daze wrapped in a small blanket, looking like a fur cloak. It walked over and shouted weakly, treating it as a greeting, and then climbed onto the sofa. Hermione scratched Valen's chin.

"Harry and the others are training?" Felix asked. They are now talking about some topics that have nothing to do with the magic text.

"Oh, yes." Hermione laughed, and she was out of control. "They trained very hard, Harry and Ron, and Ginny. Because the original Quidditch commentator Lee Jordan graduated this year, Luna is ready to apply. No, she has been selected, she is the only candidate... Harry was frightened."

Felix blinked and smiled. As we all know, Luna is a very special girl, and no one knows what her hosting style looks like. Given that she is familiar with half of the Gryffindor players, the ones who are most affected are naturally Harry and the others.

"Professor Ms. Borns recently gave me some information about the survival status of humanoid races, and I found..."

...

The party on Halloween Eve passed calmly. It didn't change much from previous years. Except for a student leading a fiery dragon that was ten feet tall into the auditorium, scaring the little wizards. Later, people calmed down and found that the student sneaked into the transformation classroom and took out a batch of deformation smoke that Professor McGonagall purchased privately.

The atmosphere was very warm at that time. Although the details of the fake Fire Dragon were a little rough, they still won a lot of luck with the cheerful festive atmosphere. It was just because the effect was so good that even Professor McGonagall was alarmed. After that, the students never saw the student at the dinner again.

"Fred and George have successors." Ron said with relief.

"I don't know which college student it is," Hermione said in surprise, "Hopefully it's not Gryffindor."

"There is not a big chance." Harry said in a low voice. "When I came out, I heard a group of students discussing the traditional activities of the club in the lounge, and someone mentioned the Fire Dragon..."

"What is that?"

"Fire Dragon?"

“No, it’s a ‘traditional activity’.”

"You say that!" Ron interrupted enthusiastically: "No one knows the truth or false-but they said Fred and George left an invisible rule before graduation, and each member must contribute to the success of the school rules, so-"

"In this way?" Hermione stared.

"Yes, at least no one will be swaying around next Halloween."

After Halloween, there were a few more snowfalls. Now the snow outside the site is several feet deep. The students would rather go a long way than pass by the vegetable garden because the terrain is uneven and some short students can easily bury themselves by stepping on the air.

The holiday decorations for Halloween have not completely disappeared. Occasionally, you can see a few bats that have escaped the net or pumpkin lanterns with small candles floating around in the corridor. The professors and students find it very interesting, and no one cares about them, allowing the candlelight in the pumpkin lantern to become more and more gloomy.

"It's so unlucky. This class is divided into the same group with Malfoy." Ron stared at the candle that emitted a miserable green light. He couldn't wait to complain as soon as they came out of the Black Magic Defense Class classroom.

Harry cast a sympathetic look.

As the course content deepens, Professor Basharth is no longer satisfied with the small fight, but lets the students duel. However, the rules are somewhat alternative: the duel must close their eyes to the enemy. As for whom is engaged in this unpleasant job, it is decided by drawing lots. Ron always draws the lottery.

Few students can stay intact until get out of class is over, and a large number of students spontaneously ask Harry and the others for tips on the human-shaped iron armor spell.

This spell is widely popular because it can defend against conventional evil spells, and does not need to be deliberately maintained or affect normal spell casting. Harry, Ron and Hermione are very skilled in the human-shaped iron armor spells, and members of the front-line observation station such as Neville, Semo, and Dean can barely master it, so in theory, they are safe in class. There are exceptions in everything, and Draco Malfoy is that exception.

After he spent a lot of effort to master the throwing spell, Ron ushered in a hard life. Although the human-shaped iron armored spell can resist small firearms (from Professor Bashart's evaluation, which is why he allowed students to use this spell), it was obviously not resistant to falling and had no shock absorption effect. When Ron could not control himself to remove the spell, he was greeted with a series of spells such as horn curse, tickling curse, and nonsense curse. Of course, Draco Malfoy was not easy, and Ron's counterattack was also sharp.

But Draco didn't know when he mastered a pretty good healing spell and carried various potions with him, which greatly reduced Ron's revenge effect, and he was indignant about it.

"If I let go of my hands and feet..." During lunch, Ron waved his arms vigorously while describing, leaving a tacit pause, and the sausage on the fork was thrown away and smashed on the dining table at Ravenclaw College.

"Are you going to treat him like an enemy?" Hermione said with her eyebrows tightly flicked.

Ron opened his mouth and stammered, "How could it be? I, cough, I was joking." When Hermione got up and left, he quietly said to Harry, "I really want to do this. I can do a lot of spells, but unfortunately..."

They followed Hermione and came to the staff lounge next to the auditorium.

There were already many students inside, Neville, Susan Bones, Brees Shabini, Padma Pettyer, Ernie McMillan, Justin Finlieri, and a dozen familiar faces whose names were not known by Harry. They stood in the crowd and waited for a while. Draco Malfoy pushed the door and walked in. Seeing Harry and the others at the door, his face was a little gloomy.

There were four professors sitting in the staff lounge - five to be precise, but Professor Ghost Binz was automatically ignored by them - namely Professor McGonagall, Professor Happ, Professor Snape and Professor Basharat.

Felix cleared his throat.

A huge wooden box fell in front of the student, and inside it was thick parchment bound into a book.

"Animagus' study materials, Little Sirius--Professor Black promised to you, I hope you haven't forgotten his name yet... You have four days to preview these contents, and in the next two months every Saturday morning--"

"professor!"

"professor."

Harry and Draco Malfoy's voices echoed in the staff lounge at the same time, and they looked at each other and immediately moved away.

"Is there any problem?"

"There will be a Quidditch game this Saturday morning." Harry said with a grim bullet when he saw Malfoy not saying a word.

"Okay, then change it to 10 am on Sunday morning - here to gather, Professor McGonagall and I will explain to you the tips of practicing Animagus. We will start to try real deformation around the Christmas holiday, so you have to choose to stay in school this holiday." Felix said with confidence because he thought about turning students into small animals while preparing lessons and experiencing that feeling personally. As a result, Professor McGonagall, who was worried about being on the side, was discovered and criticized him severely.

Although the process was not very good, the result was gratifying. Someone took the initiative to help share the work, and Felix had nothing to complain about.

The students were so excited that their eyes shone. This was Animagus' deformation! At least on the surface, there were only eight people in this century (including Rita Skit) who could learn it, and if they could learn it, they would definitely be written by the big book.

However, when they leaned over and took out three inches of information from the wooden box, the people's faces began to turn pale and their bodies involuntarily swayed. Professor McGonagall, who had originally had a serious expression, nodded with satisfaction. Nearly two-thirds of the contents were added by her strongly requested.
