Chapter 57 Emergencies
On Tuesday morning, the weather was rare and clear, and the winter sun shone on Hogwarts, dyeing the ancient castle a layer of golden glow.
Felix slept until eight o'clock and opened his eyes amid the laughter of several young wizards playing snowball fights.
He lifted the quilt and the cotton pajamas on his body automatically took off, and a delicate and soft cardigan sweater was put on his body. He moved his neck to make the clothes more comfortable to adjust. Then, under the influence of magic, he put on a pair of velvet trousers.
"Magic makes people lazy", Felix couldn't remember what he saw in the grade, but he agreed.
Finally, he put on a dark wizard robe. After everything was done, he opened the window and looked down at the snow scene outside the window.
The weather warmed a lot, and Felix did not feel the cold. The open space and courtyard in front of the castle were piled up with thick white snow, and several little wizards were rushing to the cafeteria for breakfast.
"Luckily I didn't have class in the morning, so happiness is actually compared."
Back in the office, he sorted out the tasks he had at hand in recent times-
Find the secret room and deal with the basil monster (Appointment with Dumbledore on Christmas holiday);
Find out the Dark King's relics suspected to be the Horcrux (there is no clue after the publicity three times, and there is another evidence that the little wizard is unreliable);
Practice the instant killing technique (I have been a little lazy recently and have stopped at the progress of four jumps);
Obtain rare skills Snake accent (to be feedback, person in charge: Harry Potter);
The agreement with Klein (suspended indefinitely…);
The next contact with the local tyrant Haeger (prepared carefully);
Zombing the Hogwarts Millennium Collection (in progress);
Dealing with the public opinion threat brought by Rita Skitter (√);
Complete the vine of the bondage of the magical creation (√);
Guide Hermione to complete the paper (√);
Preparing Christmas gifts (√);
Undertake the Duel Club Plan (√);
Ancient magical literature course teaching reform plan (√);
Make friends with Lockhart (when the brain gets water, this task is invalid);
Felix smacked his lips. There was nothing particularly urgent. He was less than a week before Christmas, and he became a little lazy.
"You can visit Professor Snape and finalize the matter of the duel club assistant."
Felix went downstairs along the castle stairs and walked through the courtyard. There were a few strange snowmen next to the road - this was obviously the work of the lower grade students. Due to their magical attainments, they could only get started by themselves to complete the job.
After breakfast, he went down to the underground space of the castle and found the Potions Professor's office in a familiar way.
Knocking on the professor's door, Snape refused his request to go in without expression.
"I don't think I've invited you to my office, Felix."
However, Felix has long been familiar with the professor's character. Unless you want to tease him, you will have something to say and say what he is most interested in.
So Felix said: "Professor Snape, I have obtained the approval of President Dumbledore to be responsible for the subsequent duel courses. And as for the teaching teachers, I need to understand your wishes..." He paused and looked into Snape's eyes.
Snape pursed his lips tightly, his black eyes staring at him motionlessly, and for a while, he moved out of the position, "Please come in, Felix."
The Potion Professor's office is located underground, with dim light, and the shelves against the wall are filled with countless glass specimen jars. Inside it is Professor Snape's private bedroom.
Felix walked to the specimen shelf and looked at one of the jars carefully, "Is this the big claw of the eight-eyed giant spider? Is it the one living in the forbidden forest?" he asked with interest.
Professor Snape walked out of the inner room, followed by two glasses of pumpkin juice. "No." He said coldly, handing him a glass of pumpkin juice.
The conversation between the two has come to the point.
"Felix, when did you snatch his duel club from Lockhart?"
"Professor, I must remind you that Professor Lockhart is too busy with his daily work and has to make a choice."
"I don't think," Snape scoffed at it, "what is there to be a performance class."
"Of course I'm busy replying to fans. As far as I know, he has to spend at least an hour every day to complete the job." Felix showed a naughty smile. "I understand Professor Lockhart very well. After all, we are all writers and have to face harassment from fans, and he is more productive than me."
"The book he wrote..." Snape didn't continue, his expression said everything. "But, do you reply to the fans? This is beyond my expectations. I don't think you will spend time on these trivial matters."
"There's no way," Felix said with emotion. "They are mostly officials of the Ministry of Magic. We discuss Muggle legislation and how to deal with Muggles."
Snape choked.
He said, "Felix, don't go around in circles with me and tell me what you meant."
"Professor, I want to know if you still want to participate in my duel course."
"Your duel class?" Snape dragged a long sound on the word "your".
"Yes, my duel class." Felix looked at him calmly.
This is the difference between the primary and secondary.
Snape fell silent.
Felix looked leisurely. He didn't know if Snape would agree, but judging from the information obtained from Lohart, Snape took the initiative to act as an assistant to the course at that time.
This shows that he is interested in duel courses.
As for the reason, Felix was not sure of it, and he didn't care much.
However, he heard that Snape had been seeking a teaching position in the Dark Magic Defense Class, but unfortunately, Dumbledore never agreed. Is there a connection between the two?
For example, Snape regards duel courses as a substitute for the Dark Magic Defense class? Felix speculated in his heart.
"I need to participate in the selection of course content." Snape put forward the conditions.
Felix smiled, "Of course, your experience deserves attention." He said.
Felix put the cup full of pumpkin juice back on the table, and he stood up, "Professor, the next duel class will be held after the end of the Christmas holiday. I will communicate with you about the teaching content and wish you a happy time."
"No," Snape said with a stern face.
Felix, who was about to walk out of the door, suddenly stopped: "By the way, Professor Snape, I have prepared your Christmas gift in advance, and I believe you will be satisfied."
Snape smiled and said, "I will prepare a gift for you too, Felix."
...
In the evening, Professor Felix and Professor Flitvie changed shifts and were responsible for routine patrols in the castle. There were always some young wizards who had all kinds of legitimate and improper reasons to break away from the eyes of the professor and the chief and acted alone.
But what he didn't expect was that he actually met Miss Hermione Granger, who was in a hurry and panting.
"Professor Hayp! Oh my God, I finally met a professor!" the little witch said excitedly.
"Miss Granger, what happened?"
"The secret room...the monster in the secret room..." Hermione wanted to speak, but she ran a long way and was out of breath at this moment.
"A new attack happened?" Felix's expression became serious. It was really so inch? Was the attack happened a few days before Christmas?
His assistant nodded first, then shook his head.
