Chapter 48 Exhibition Competition

"Then next..." Lohat said slightly, "I think it's better to teach you how to stop unfriendly magic, yes, unfriendly, like what I did in my book...recorded personal experience."

"Please volunteer a couple - Longbottom and Fenlieri, how are you? Professor Hepp, Professor Snape, we'd better leave the stage for them..."

Felix casually played with his wand, "A good offer, Professor Lockhart. But before that, I felt it necessary to let the little wizards understand what a real duel is like, even a performance-based duel."

Lockhart's expression suddenly became dull, "This, I..." He looked around and found that the young wizards in the audience were very interested in this, and he couldn't speak.

"Professor Snape, what do you think?" Felix asked Snape, who had been silent.

The Potions Professor looked at him with a deep and unexpected look, and he grinned his lips and pulled a smile, "Are you going to have a duel with me, Felix?"

“It’s just an exhibition match.”

Neither of them took Lohart into consideration.

Snape glanced at him deeply, without saying anything, and pulled out his wand neatly.

Lockhart, who was awkwardly, suddenly realized that he had miraculously escaped from the center of the vortex, and his face became enthusiastic again. "It seems that our course will temporarily add a duel, so let us welcome the two professors!"

The applause from the audience became warm this time, and Ron said to Harry happily, "To be honest, I have been waiting for this day too long! Do you think Snape will be hospitalized?"

As Professor Happ's "Strong Fan", he naturally stood on Felix's side.

"That's just an exhibition match," Hermione stressed, but she still jumped up and down on tiptoe.

Lockhart retreated to the edge of the stage and imposed a "loud voice" on himself - a blessing for signing a speech, and he was quite skilled in this spell.

"I will comment on you below. Although this is just an exhibition match, the real duel is not like this. It requires more keen to discover danger in advance - if you want to know the details of this, please see my published works." Lockhart talked happily, "But - this is still very good for you. Bow below..."

However, neither of them paid attention to him on the field and instead talked to each other for a few words.

"Felix, what do you want to do?"

"Professor, I just came over and took a look and did my best."

"Don't lie to me!" The two were very close, which made only each other hear the conversation.

"Is it because the professor is proficient in the pursuit of divine thoughts?" Felix teased.

Snape snorted. In his eyes, this former student had a strong purpose in doing things, and his current behavior was naturally classified by him as "the first step for Felix to seize power."

The two bowed, each walked back seven steps, turned around and looked at each other, while holding their wands to their chests.

"As you see, the two professors hold the wand in a normal duel position," Lockhart performed his commentary duties. "This is one of the three common duel positions. Next I will count to three, and they will cast the first magic."

The students below held their breath, and they were completely different from Lockhart's "demonstration" just now.

“One…two…”

"Snape won't be killed instantly, right?" Ron shouted excitedly.

"I don't think so, my god--" Hermione was about to say that Professor Hepp highly praised Snape, but she was quickly shocked by the dazzling scene on the stage.

"three!"

Snape shouted, "Get rid of your weapons!" A dazzling red light flashed, and the spell flew quickly in front of Felix.

Felix turned his magic wand and released a "iron armor spell" smoothly. The invisible magic barrier blocked his body and bounced Snape's spell away. Then he gently shook his wrist, and the magic barrier emitted a dazzling white light and flew quickly forward.

Snape issued two spells in a row before breaking through Felix's iron armor spell, and the magic barrier quickly dissipated.

However, the white light of the iron armor curse obscured Snape's vision. When he subconsciously turned a position - many years of habit saved him once, three dim black lights passed by him, and the nearest one almost touched his nose.

All this happened between the rise and fall of the rabbit, from Snape's strong first move to Felix's defensive counterattack, and using the white light to quickly release three spells to sneak attack, less than three seconds.

Lockhart: “…”

Little wizards: "..."

The duel continued, and Snape did not dare to take it lightly. He hadn't taken action for almost ten years. Although he had never given up on magic exploration, his main energy was still focused on potion improvement.

However, he was quickly picking up his previous combat experience, and after several thrilling attempts to escape the danger, he finally started to fight back.

The two of them kept flying around, but they had a tacit understanding and did not hurt the students by accident.

Various defensive curses, attack curses, and disarming curses cut through the air and made a sharp roar. The distance between the two people quickly narrowed and sometimes left, and their feet kept moving slightly.

Lockhart wisely jumped off the stage after a spell rubbed his hair, but he still commented loudly: "The duel is a bit intense... Have you seen their steps? Move, move, don't stand stupidly!"

Lockhart still has two tricks, at least he is very eloquent. Through his explanation, many young wizards suddenly realized that it was a way to restore some image for him.

However, Snape scoffed at this point. He quickly picked a spell and drew a gap to fight back. He felt that the power of Felix's spell was gradually increasing, which made him feel more and more pressure.

Damn, this kid is putting pressure on me!

"Why do you feel that Professor Happ's spell is getting thicker and thicker?" Even many young wizards have noticed this, but with their knowledge, they can only judge the strength of the spell from the "appearance".

Snape's wand was shaking violently, and an enhanced version of "armor protection" was blocking in front of him. Two hot red lights hit it, making a "dongdong" sound, and a hole was torn apart by the magic barrier.

Amazing magical attainments...

Snape had a trace of sweat on his face.

The little wizards in the audience were dazzled. For the first time, they realized that the so-called duel was not enough to silly put the spell face to face. The casting speed, timing, defense means, pace, consciousness... there were too many ways in it.

But they didn't know that neither of them used their full strength.

Felix turned his head slightly relaxed and dodged a red light. He used this short gap to turn his wand to issue a spell, quickly evaluating the limits of the Potion Professor.

Professor Snape's strength shouldn't be like this...

The next second, Felix's heart suddenly became alert. He threw out three iron armor spells in a row, allowing it to fly away and block the path that must be passed.

A powerful red spell passed through the air, quickly passing through the first, second barrier, and then rushed towards the third barrier.

The little wizards widened their eyes. They might not be able to judge the strength of the spell, but Snape's spell left a burning trajectory in the air and penetrated the armor protective barrier in one fell swoop, which they could see clearly.

"Dong!"

A violent roar resounded throughout the auditorium.

Felix's third iron armor spell worked, bounced away Snape's surprisingly powerful spell.

He smelled a trace of black magic...

Integrate the characteristics of black magic into the disarming spell, Professor, you are really beyond my expectations.

Do you have a stronger curse? Do you have a backup plan...

Snape was far from as relaxed as he imagined. He did hide some spells, but they were all black magic and could not be used in public. Judging from Felix's performance, it would not be very effective even if it was used.

He has surpassed me...
