Chapter 47 Farce
At 8 o'clock in the evening, the school auditorium.
The long dining table disappeared, and a square gilded stage temporarily built in the center of the auditorium, and three-stage wooden steps on the edge of the stage.
Hundreds of candles floated in the air, embellishing the center of the auditorium.
Harry and Ron hurried back to the auditorium. Almost all the students in the school came, crowded together, and they discussed enthusiastically. The two of them squeezed forward along the gaps in the crowd. Harry accidentally touched the toad glasses of a first-grade witch, and he quickly apologized, "I'm sorry."
The witch took her glasses and put them on her forehead again, humming something softly, but Harry didn't hear it clearly.
The two came to the Gryffindor Little Wizard District, Semo, Dean, and Neville were all there, "Hey! Harry, here." They breathed a sigh of relief, "There are so many people."
Neville Longbottom's round face turned around: "All of them are here, it seems that everyone is very curious about the duel."
At this time, Hermione came over from another direction to meet, and she was still holding a newspaper in her hand.
"You're a little late, where have you been?" Harry asked, stretching his neck to look out the corridor.
"I went to Professor Happ's place first, and on the way back I met Professor McGonagall."
"Is there anything?" Ron asked casually. Before she could answer, he suddenly sighed heavily. There were many little wizards who were acting the same as him. They saw Professor Giderro Lohart, wearing a gorgeous purple robe, strode into the auditorium.
Next to him was Severus Snape, who looked solemn, and the two were in a wonderful contrast - the former was full of enthusiasm, the latter was low and solemn; the former was brightly dressed, while the latter was pitch black all over.
Harry groaned, and the two professors he hated the most were coming to teach him the duel lesson.
Just like Professor Lockhart, who had a peacock spread his tail, he first spent ten minutes talking about how he "worked hard to convince Dumbledore to give everyone the opportunity to learn how to protect himself." In the meantime, he was inevitably interspersed with familiar self-praise and book purchase suggestions - they were already immune to this set of rhetoric.
In the last thirty seconds, Lockhart rarely introduced the "assistant" Professor Snape.
"Professor Snape himself also knows a little about the duel. He generously agreed to help me with a small demonstration before class - but don't worry, I will return your Potion Professor to you intact." He grinned.
Snape curled his upper lip and pulled out a polite smile, which made Harry feel chill. If Snape had smiled at him like this, he would have been away.
During this period, school doctor Mrs. Pomfrey stood on the edge of the venue with impatient expression, carrying a white medicine box with him, and Professor Felix Happ also quietly appeared in a corner of the auditorium.
He was quite interested in this so-called "duel course" and there were some ideas deep down, so he decided to take a look.
If Professor Lockhart messed up, maybe he could take over…
Based on his understanding of this professor, it is highly likely that the accident will be overturned.
This was a test of his subconscious dissatisfaction with the mediocrity and chaos of the magic world and Hogwarts, but on the verge of caution, he decided to wait and see first.
...
The duel course officially began. In less than three minutes, Felix's eyes twitched and looked at Professor Lockhart, who was beaten away by the "disarm curse". He stood up in a mess, and his gorgeous purple robe teared a long hole.
The food is still yours, but can you know it a little?
Professor Lohart was helped up by several young wizards, and he staggered back to the center of the stage, "Okay, everyone, let's see!" His wavy curly hair stood up under the influence of the spell, looking quite funny, but what's funny is his next words.
"This is the application of the disarming curse. I hope my demonstration just now will impress you-" He glanced at Snape, "But don't mind if I say that, your intention just now is very obvious. If I want to stop you, there is no need to be a blow..."
"But the little wizards need to increase their knowledge, so let them see..." Lohart couldn't continue, and Snape was looking at him with murderous aura.
Lockhart wisely shifted the topic and advanced the course to the next stage. Without any specific teaching, he pulled out more than a dozen pairs of little wizards and let them stand in small grids on the stage.
"The demonstration time is over! Let me see what you have learned, Professor Snape, if you are willing to help me..."
Next was a bad battle. Lockhart wanted to get rid of the front line with Snape or specific magic teaching, so he transferred his tasks to comments and guidance, but he looked up to the casting level and discipline of the young wizards of Hogwarts.
Especially Snape intentionally or unintentionally arranged his own academy to form a team with the Little Lions, which would be strange if he didn't fight.
Although Lohart repeatedly emphasized that he could only use the disarming spell, the little wizard had never learned it at all - if it was not counted as Lohart's "demonstration". So after both sides of the war were blushing and recited the invalid spells several times, various small evil spells that were popular among the students appeared.
From Felix's perspective, Harry and Malfoy's group are barely interesting, but the two basically have no concept of duel, they use the turn-based system, you are a "grin" and I are a "Tarang Terra" dance, and you are a "Tarang Terra" dance, and you are a "sheep" at the rest of the time.
The remaining little wizards, Neville and Justin, both fell to the ground, panting, and if he read correctly, they did not release a spell from beginning to end;
Ron grabbed Semo, with a grimy face and apologized repeatedly, his wand was still spraying with green smoke;
And the group of his assistants...their wands had long been lost and they wrestled with each other. The Slytherin girl had the upper hand with her huge body size. Her arm clamped Hermione's head, but Hermione also grabbed the hair opposite with one hand...
"Oh my God, my God!" Lockhart screamed, but he had no effect on the situation on the field. Felix had to cross the crowd, and his wand sprinkled more than a dozen spells to separate the little wizards.
"Professor Hepp..." Lohart was a little panicked and hesitant, but soon his mind was attracted by the tragic situation of the little wizards. "Miss Faust... pinched it hard, and the blood stopped immediately. Butter, your nose was broken, and Ernie..."
Mrs. Pomfrey walked onto the stage and pulled Lohart apart. The outstanding school doctor lady quickly cast a spell and poured various potions into the mouths of the young wizards. "Dumbledore shouldn't have approved it... It's too ridiculous, it's ridiculous... It's totally unqualified..."
Simo took a sip of the green thing, his face turned greener, and finally he burped and spit out a ball of green air.
"Let the little wizard engage in dangerous activities lose the professor's face..." Pomfrey kept muttering, but she quickly solved the problem. In less than five minutes, the little wizards stood up again.
Lockhart seemed a little overwhelmed, "Well, ah..." He was stunned for a few seconds, "Let us thank Mrs. Pomfrey for her efforts, she is a powerful auxiliary to our duel course...and of course, Professor Happ."
