Chapter 266 Encountering Newt

The door of the telephone booth bounced open suddenly, and Felix walked into the magnificent foyer and came all the way to the inquiry desk.

"Hello, is the second living room in?"

A blonde middle-aged witch looked casually at the badge on his chest, and there were signs on the bulletin board behind her, but these were blocked by an exaggerated wanted order, "Felex Hepp... Oh, Mr. Hepp, Mr. Sidrick has an explanation, please come with me-"

"Sorry, ma'am, I haven't registered for the wand yet."

The witch said enthusiastically, "That's not a necessary step, my dear. I heard you are a Muggle research expert? I have a book called "Simple Spells to Fool Muggle", but I don't read much, I can't tell the difference... Little Tim always messes up the house."

She took Felix to the elevator area and glanced at the floor, "We're going to the fourth floor - Oh, be careful!" As she spoke, a group of paper planes flew into the elevator along the gaps of the golden fence gate. She explained: "This is the note used by the department to convey messages-"

As soon as these paper planes entered the elevator, they flew slowly on the ceiling. Their color was a light purple color, and the wings were covered with the stamp of the "Ministry of Magic".

"—We used owls to communicate before, you can imagine the air quality here...and the feces problem, the tables and chairs are messy, and after using these little things, the cleaning work in the department has been reduced by one third."

"Please forgive me, I don't know your name yet?" Felix had to interrupt the rhythm of her speech.

"Rae Difina, where I said, oh, right-" she began to tell how her five-year-old son drew the feat of the entire Quidditch League team with a bag of flour, "he would lead the national team to victory," she said proudly.

"Ms. Difina, I heard that L.C.A comic strips have recently released a new set of comic strips, which are very popular."

"Yes, I didn't pay much attention to what's the name?"

"Call--"

The elevator stopped and two wizards came in from outside, one of the brown and short-bearded red-faced wizard, wearing a black wizard robe, and the other was an old man with gray hair, wearing a tweed grey trench coat with a brown vest inside.

The old man turned his head slightly, "Amos, there are problems with your process, there are big problems. And you have been going around in circles, and I can see that Tina has taught me a lot."

Amos, a witch in a wizard robe, said uneasy: "I know you care very much about the living environment of the eagle-headed, horse-body and winged beast, but this matter has nothing to do with you, isn't it? You are not even its owner."

"I can't ignore it just because it has a Lord. I'm just fighting for its legitimate rights."

"But you're retired, Mr. Scarmand."

"In theory, I just don't go out much...but I didn't stop working, and if you know how much work I have to do in a day, I wouldn't think so."

"Your Fantastic Beasts Where Are You Revised to the 52nd Edition, why not complete the first edition?"

The old man looked at the side face of the other party, "I do have this plan, but - we have off topic, and reiterate that I was commissioned by my friends - which also included three caring little guys - questioned the Ministry of Magic's workflow. I think you hired me as a consultant, not to keep me silent."

"Of course! Many magical creatures in the Ministry need to refer to your opinions."

The elevator door opened, and the two walked out-

"Mr. Hepp, we're here too." Difina at the front desk said, Felix owed, "Thank you, is it on this floor? I can go and find it myself."

He took a few steps and turned around, "In addition, the name of the book is "The Adventures of the Little Wizard Mike", which is sold in many bookstores."

Felix followed the two wizards and watched them stop at the door of a spacious office. He raised his head and said "The Division of Magical Biology Management and Control."

The witch in a black wizard robe walked into the office, leaving the old man waiting outside, Felix approached, "Mr. Newt Scarmand?"

The old man turned his head and his eyes slid past him, "You are..."

"Felix Hepp, the ancient magic professor at Hogwarts." Felix introduced himself, "We just met in the elevator."

Newt's eyes fell on him, "Yes, yes, yes... Mr. Hepp, I've heard your name, Rolf Jr. mentioned you."

"I was very interested in your research results when I was in school and I also collected some newspaper clippings, but unfortunately I didn't find much content."

"I did publish a few articles in my early years, and I was not valued at the time-" Newt said: "That was a long time ago."

"For some time in school, I was obsessed with how to deal with them, and of course, make sure I didn't hurt myself," Felix said.

Newt's eyes lit up, "This is what I'm studying, rescue, nurture, protect... I also teach other wizards to understand them, rather than be afraid-"

"So, Porter and the others finally found you?" Felix said. "I heard a few words in the elevator. I guess you are discussing the case of Hogwarts's Hawkhead, Horse-Winged Beast attacking students."

"Potter? Harry Potter?"

"Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and of course, the center of the vortex, Ruber Hager and his Buckbeck."

Ngt nodded, "That's right. They wrote to me that an eagle-headed, horse-winged beast was treated unfairly and begged me to stand up. To be honest, I have been away from the Ministry of Magic for many years, and it is not the same here as when I left. Sorry - it's very different."

He raised his head and made a disappointed gesture, "Tina advised me to write with peace of mind, but when I saw something, I could not pretend to have not seen it - if the horns of the poisonous horns began to shine, I had to deal with it - do you understand what I mean?"

“We can’t stand the injustice that happens before us.”

"Yes, you summed it up very well - Oh, wait a moment, I need to solve some minor troubles-" Newt quickly reached into his arms and took out a silver pocket watch, which suddenly expanded and contracted, and looked like it was about to explode.

"Mr. Scarmand--" Felix stared at the eyes and put a human-shaped iron armor spell on himself.

"Don't worry, it's not a bad thing-" Newt said in a hurry, and the front cover of the silver pocket watch popped up, and a pink nose kiss that looked like a duck's beak popped out from it. The next second, a palm-sized sniff came out of the pocket watch and climbed flexibly onto Newt.

Immediately afterwards, two more sniffs appeared. One of them immediately looked at the smooth lid of the pocket watch and adjusted its black soft fluff, while the other seemed to have a silver bracelet.

Felix looked at them curiously, a dark, furry little animal between a mole and a platypus with an unusual craze for something shiny.

"Hey! Valen, Thorpe, Ansheng." Newt whispered, and he grabbed his shoulders quickly and was trying hard to pull out the silver buttons and stuffed it back into his pocket watch. He threw the other two sniffs in, and then closed the front cover.
