Chapter 24 Thesis
Office of the Ancient Magical Culture Professor.
Felix finished his day's teaching work. Today he had three classes, but half of the time spent on the exam, and was called "mastering the students' learning situation". In his previous life, there was a professional term called "diagnostic evaluation".
Diagnostic evaluation is defined as an evaluation of the student's current level of development at the beginning of the semester or at the beginning of a unit.
It can be said that it is very appropriate to use it here.
The other half of the class is used to review the knowledge I have learned. This disappoints the little wizards, who think they have the opportunity to continue the magic puppet war.
Fortunately, the professor told them that they will see them in the next class, and that they perform well, and there will be additional rewards.
Felix was watching a movie in the office and he watched it very seriously.
Bang bang bang bang!
A rushing knock on the door interrupted his entertainment time. He opened the door and saw Hermione who was out of breath.
"Professor...sorry, I...huh...I fell asleep and missed...time!"
Hermione's chest was undulating violently, her face was flushed, and a thin layer of sweat wet her hair.
Looking at the little witch's anxious expression, Felix told her not to be anxious and led her into the office.
"Please sit."
Hermione sat down obediently, and then realized that a movie was projected on the wall in front of her.
She turned her head left and right and quickly saw a projector.
Hermione is a little messy. Am I not awake yet? Isn’t Hogwarts unable to use Muggle products?
But she didn't dare to move around, so she could only look at the projected content. After reading for a few minutes, she found that, hey, it was quite beautiful.
The movie tells the story of a princess visiting Rome and unexpectedly encountering a reporter. It can be seen that the movie has been around for a certain period of time, but the story is told very well, making people unable to help but immerse themselves in it.
I happened to see a scene where the princess was holding a violin and smashed it on the head of a gangster.
Hermione couldn't help laughing.
Then she heard the footsteps, immediately restrained her smile and sat down calmly.
Felix held a drink in his hand and handed her, "This is butterbeer, I added a little bit of joy and dream potion, and they will be released little by little to give you a good sleep when you go back."
"Thank you, Professor Hepp." Hermione took a sip. The taste was a bit strange, but it was not bad. She found that her spirit became energetic, and the fatigue of the past week was wiped out.
She remembered her purpose, quickly opened her schoolbag, pulled out seven pieces of parchment, and handed it to Felix, "Professor, this is my thesis."
Felix took the paper and read it. At the same time, he waved his wand without raising his head, and a few discs of snacks flew to Hermione, "You can eat something first and watch the movie. You shouldn't have time to entertain you lately."
Hearing Felix's words, she realized that she had missed supper again, and every cell in her body was complaining to her.
She blushed slightly, ate the snacks in small mouthfuls, and glanced at the professor who was concentrating on the paper from time to time. Seeing that he had no intention of raising his head, he quietly accelerated the speed.
Before she knew it, she drank all the butter beer and ate three plates of snacks, and the movie came to an end.
Hermione's feeling was pleasant again with fullness.
She turned her head and looked at the professor, and found that he had finished reading the paper and was reading a book with relish.
"Professor, sorry..."
Felix raised his head, his eyes smiling, "I thought you liked this movie very much."
Hermione: “…”
"Okay, let's talk about your paper." Felix quickly changed the subject when he picked up Hermione's paper and praised: "Excellent paper."
"The logic is rigorous, the writing is smooth, and the materials from eighteen books are quoted, and each evidence is just right..."
Hermione lowered her head and felt embarrassed by the praise.
"Congratulations, you are my assistant." Felix stood up and walked up to her.
Hermione's eyes burst into bright light, "Really? Ah! Professor, I, I'm so excited."
"It's what you deserve," Felix said gently, "you've put in a great effort to it, so to speak, far beyond my expectations."
Hermione wanted to cry, and her days were too difficult this week.
"As my assistant, you will inevitably have to spend extra time in the future..."
"Professor, I will work hard!"
"No, you misunderstood what I mean," Felix smiled. "If you give, you will gain something. For this-"
“Gryffindor plus fifty, every semester.”
...
Hermione returned to the common room with a dizzy dizziness. Harry and Ron were playing wizard chess. The twins were huddled in the corner, holding a piece of parchment in their hands, not knowing what to mumble.
Seeing Hermione come in, many young wizards raised their heads, and the rumors spread the fastest. They already knew that Hermione might become the assistant of the new professor.
Felix, who just finished his open class, is now in the limelight.
Harry jumped up and pulled the chess piece aside at random, "Hermione, what's the result?"
"Hey! I'm going to be a general soon." Ron muttered dissatisfiedly, but his heart was not on the chessboard.
"I succeeded." Hermione announced the result directly.
"Yo-roar! Cheer up to Gryffindor's All-Time Miss! She became Hogwarts' youngest assistant!" The twins cheered, and they both put their hands behind them and ran around the lounge in the imitation of the plane.
Several fireworks rang out, and the lounge was trapped in a sea of joy. A group of young wizards came over and sent blessings to Hermione, regardless of her words, "It's not an assistant or an assistant."
The twins disappeared quietly for a while and brought back a large bag of food of all kinds, adding fire to the joyful atmosphere of the lounge.
Professor McGonagall was recruited in the middle of the process. She pursed her lips and didn't say anything, as if she was thinking about how many points she would deduct for Gryffindor.
"Professor McGonagall, we are celebrating Hermione as an assistant coach." The twins quickly explained.
Professor McGonagall quickly glanced at Hermione, and when he saw her nodding, he couldn't help but smile. "That would be...but... you should also be quieter." Professor McGonagall quickly compromised.
"Is this your paper?" Professor McGonagall crossed the cheering crowd and looked at the parchment in Hermione's hand.
"Yes, Professor McGonagall."
McGonagall picked up the parchment, counted the pieces in surprise, and then quickly started looking.
The above contains both Hermione's original text and comments added by Felix.
Professor McGonagall made a quick rendition at first, but it slowed down quickly. Although Hermione's paper is more similar to a review, it is very concise and clear, almost re-sorting the entire development process of ancient magical literature.
Basically, anyone who reads Hermione's paper will have a relatively comprehensive understanding of ancient magical texts.
“A very wonderful paper, I think it qualifies for publishing in a magazine.”
"I'm still far from that. Professor Happ helped me correct a lot of things." Hermione whispered.
Professor McGonagall was also speechless. From her perspective, Hermione's paper was already very good, but Felix could actually put forward more suggestions for correction, which shows the excellent graduate's skill in ancient magical literature.
However, Felix's annotation was not a mistake, but a sentence similar to "It is recommended to read "Ancient Magic Literature and History" to deepen understanding" and it actually means that Hermione has not thought deeply enough.
"He's too strict." Even Professor McGonagall, known for his sternness, couldn't help but stand on Hermione's side.
"Professor Hepp thinks I'm qualified, and his annotation is what I'm going to do in the next stage," Hermione explained.
Professor McGonagall nodded and looked at the paper. The more he read, the more he loved it.
"Let's do this, wait until you modify the paper according to Professor Haip's annotation, I will hand it to a friend of mine for you, and maybe you have the chance to publish it."
