Chapter 156 End of the School Year

Before he knew it, Felix finished reading the entire content.

"Professor?" Hermione looked over.

She interrupted the screen screen and instead discussed some of the theoretical questions.

"I saw in the book that the book "Wand and the Wizard" repeatedly mentioned, "How should we understand this sentence "Wand is alive?"

"Well... I don't have a deep study on this aspect, so I can only talk about it in general."

"Of course." Hermione blinked and said in a relaxed tone.

"Every wand is unique. Even if the materials used to make them are exactly the same size, the effects that can be displayed in different hands are completely different."

"Is it because of the master of the wand?" Hermione guessed.

"Yes, I personally think that the wand placed in the store is only a half-component, and it is eager to get its own completeness."

Hermione looked up at Felix, which was a fresh view.

Felix explained: "The characteristics of wand wood and the characteristics of magic creatures from which the core of the wand have made the wand extremely rich changes, but there is another characteristic that cannot be ignored, that is, the wand owner itself."

"Instead of saying that a magic wand has life, I would rather believe that the three characteristics of the body of the staff, the core of the staff, and the master are combined to make the wand become complete and exert its true power."

"So, this is the theoretical support of the 'Wand Selection Wizard'? In order to make itself complete, when the body and core of the stick are fixed, it is more willing to choose an ideal master who fits it?" Hermione said along his way.

"This is a one-man word," Felix said modestly, then added

"And for the little wizard, obtaining a suitable wand is only the first step. The wand and the master will partner with each other, learn from each other, promote each other in the future, and constantly cultivate this tacit understanding."

"We can understand this way that each wand experiences differently."

"But, professor, I heard that some wands would betray the master?" Hermione asked carefully.

Felix's expression became serious, "This situation is rare. Even if he has a bad reputation and a more perverted wand, he will not be disconnected from his master because of one or two failures. The confrontation on campus cannot reach this level..."

"But this is certainly a situation, right?" Hermione asked.

"Indeed. I think the reasons are diverse: some are because the relationship between the master and the wand is very poor; some are because the wand is naturally sensitive and worships the strong; some are because the 'failure' has too much impact on the master, which deepens the crack."

"However, in terms of the core material alone, unicorn hair is indeed more loyal, while dragon heartstrings seem to be too active, and they may 'temporarily' surrender to powerful enemies."

"temporary?"

"For example, such a magic wand was forcibly taken away by the enemy. If you recover it in time, you can still use it as usual."

"This, this is..." the little witch said in amazement.

"Miss Granger, what we are discussing is too far from your world." Felix ended the topic.

In fact, Felix believes that the conditions for the change of ownership of the wand are extremely harsh, including at least a "defeat in a malicious confrontation", which is the conclusion he has drawn in some dark wizards.

This is how the spare wands that Felix reserves come from.

But even so, these wands can only respond temporarily to emergency responses, not their own wands, and there will eventually be various spell casting restrictions.

From the examples of Ron and Neville, there may be a "willful transfer" situation, but he has not experienced it personally.

"Granger, let's discuss your transformation of beaded bags. I originally thought you would finish it in the next school year."

...

Felix's new book was also put on the agenda. In order to expand his influence, he chose to complete two books at the same time. He faced the young preparatory wizard, mainly with a large number of dynamic pictures, supplemented by vivid and interesting storylines.

First book is about facing the popular science topics of adult wizards, using the most rigorous logic and words to explain the most obvious underlying technology in the Muggle world.

After completing some manuscripts, Felix had the illusion of explaining addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to the mentally retarded, which made him want to give up for a while.

However, some of the readers he selected gave good feedback

Belby looked at the manuscript and the first picture was a boiled kettle, with hot air constantly gushing at the mouth of the pot; the second picture was a pipe connected from the kettle, and steam flowed through the pipe to a windmill at the other end; the third picture was a windmill quickly rotated under the steam drive.

The next picture is a hand-painted version, which looks more abstract: a train has a huge kettle, connected to the wheels through pipes, making the train move...

In order to make the whole process more straightforward, Felix deliberately marked the color of the steam very conspicuously, looking like a kettle monster with a twitching claws on his back, constantly spraying venom.

"Is this the steam engine in Muggles' mouth? They drive the trains by this?" Belby said excitedly, "You know so much, Felix!"

Three days before the end of the school year, Felix received an invitation letter named "International Wizards Federation", an organization similar to the United Nations, except that the members are all ministries of various countries.

"How did they come to me?"

Felix opened the letter and raised his head after a moment, "It turned out that it was an agency under the International Wizards Federation who invited me to Paris for a meeting. The Muggle Problem Research Group? Tsk tsk, I haven't heard of it at all. It won't be newly established in recent years..."

From the more formulaic rhetoric of the invitation letter, Felix could tell that the research team adopted the strategy of casting wide nets and catching more fish. Perhaps a little famous Muggle research expert will be invited.

The next day, he found an opportunity to ask Professor Bubaji, but the feedback he received was not as expected, and she also received the invitation.

"So do you?" Bubaji looked at him with wide eyes, "Oh, of course you have this qualification. I mean, you are too young, I didn't expect it before."

"Professor Bubaji, do you know where this so-called research group comes from?"

“I do know a little bit,” Bubaji said. “It seems to be the issue that was led by the US Department of Magic, dealing with the crisis and so on. It’s all cliché, you know, they’ve always been sensitive to the Muggle problem.”

Felix nodded thoughtfully.

The two then agreed to meet in Paris and left.

He also wanted to see how the ‘experts’ in other countries view the Muggle issue.

In the next two days, Felix handled various chores: assigning holiday homework to the little wizard, leaving Belby safely with other professors, applying to Dumbledore to stay in school, attending the school dinner...

In front of the station, the little wizards boarded the train happily, and Felix watched silently in the corner.

The most conspicuous one is the tall figure of Marcus Flint. He has been hiding from himself since the exam;

The second is Cremi Vera, wearing large glasses. She immediately found Felix after the exam, hoping to maintain communication after graduation and receive his ancient magic guidance;

Several graduates also expressed similar intentions, but Felix did not refuse.

In addition, the little wizards who left an impression on him this year appeared one by one:

Abbott Barker, Percy, Penelo, Jeffrey, Pet Selton, Warren Pardis, Twins, Cedric, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood...

He also saw Draco Malfoy, who was a little depressed, and Felix was silent. He knew that Lucius had struggled several times, but he was still kicked out of the school board, and his son was inevitably affected.

Felix watched the Hogwarts Express roar away.
