Chapter 6 Weasel worships the moon
This explanation made me realize that I finally knew what the spirit and spirit in "Daozang" meant. Those human figures in the previous pages should be a way to practice qi. Absorb the vital energy of heaven and earth?
The most important thing is that there is a picture of the human acupoints in this book, and the Nirvana Palace, Baihui acupoints mentioned in the Daozang can be found.
After reading the content described in the previous pages, I couldn't wait to try it out. I didn't have time to class during the day and had free time after school at night. However, our accommodation conditions were very poor. There were more than 20 people sleeping in a dormitory, and there was no way to try it there.
When I thought about it, I had to wait for the lights in the dormitory to go out, and quietly got up and walked out of the dormitory, and came to the platform on the roof of the fourth floor. There was no one there at night, and it was very quiet.
A golden full moon hanging above my head in the night sky, adding a bit of mystery to the quiet night.
The wilderness is low and the sky is low. In the square downstairs, rows of neat cedars are planted, extending straight to the entrance of the school, leaving behind large and mottled black shadows.
A little further apart, there is a half-man-deep green gauze tent. At the end of the green gauze tent, the endless mountains seem to be connected to the sky.
In the second week of school opening in 1997, I began my own career in Taoism. Who would have thought that I was getting started with reading a book on traditional Chinese medicine.
A newspaper was laid on the roof, and then I sat cross-legged in the posture described in the book, silently chanted the spells in my mouth, and began to pinch the magic formulas with both hands. I studied the contents of the first few pages of "Daozang" for more than half a year, and I was able to memorize them fluently, and those complex hand formulas were also imprinted in my mind.
First bend your thumb, lift your index finger before pushing it, then flex your middle finger, ring finger, and little finger...
I sat down with one set of movements and felt that no breath was being sucked into my body. But I was not discouraged and continued to do the movements with my hands. At first, I kept calculating the posture in my hand, afraid of making mistakes, but later I became more and more proficient. I no longer wanted to move, and my mind gradually became quiet.
"Boom..." I don't know how long it took, but my body suddenly felt relaxed, as if it had lost its weight. The Nirvana Palace and Baihui acupoint above my head seemed to have a skylight opened. The comfortable air flow penetrated through the skylight and penetrated into my mind, and then spread throughout my body.
At this time, the scissors magic weapon suddenly appeared in Nirvana Palace, sucking in a stream of air.
This is the feeling, just like when I touched the cultural relics with both hands. It turned out that this airflow was the essence of heaven and earth. I finally understood what the scissor magic weapon needed. If there is sufficient energy of heaven and earth, then the rust on the magic weapon can be completely removed and summoned out.
As soon as I was confused, the wonderful feeling disappeared and my legs became sore and numb.
It seems that if I want to absorb the vitality of heaven and earth, I must concentrate and not think randomly. I moved my sore legs a few times and continued to sit in the newspaper.
This time I kept my mind and didn't dare to think about other things. Not long after, the wonderful feeling came again, and threads of it merged into the Nirvana Palace.
When I woke up from the silence and looked at the electronic watch on my wrist, three hours passed, and in a while, the bell of getting up should ring.
At this moment, I was in good spirits and had no sleepiness. So I stopped going back to the dormitory to sleep and lay on the railing to see the scenery. During this process, I found that my eyesight was much higher than usual. In the dark night, I could see clearly the green gauze tent outside the school.
Close your eyes, and the breathing of the students downstairs came.
In the following days, after the lights were turned off at night, I would quietly get up and start a day of practice. It is hard to imagine that an eleven or twelve-year-old child would be fascinated by practicing Taoism.
During this period, martial arts novels have become popular in the class. During class, you can always see many people staring at the table in a daze, until the teacher walked up to him and didn't notice that they were reading novels.
Because of this, the head teacher searched the class and found more than ten sets of martial arts.
Even so, the passionate hearts of the boys in the class cannot be banned. Every day after class, many people gather together to talk about the martial arts figures in the book. From Guo Jing, who is the most heroic, to Xiao Li Feidao, who is the perfect person, to the perfect Li Xiaodao. I am not interested in this at all. When everyone is talking about "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" and "The Return of the Condor Heroes", I read "New Book on Longevity and Elderly" with relish.
The book says: "Man is born from qi, and qi is born from spirit. With qi, nourish the spirit, and the whole spirit can obtain the way."
It seems that as long as you accumulate enough vitality in your body, you can reach the realm of the Three Candles in the Yin God. I am full of curiosity and don’t know what the Three Candles in the Daozang talks about.
Since I rarely join the conversation between my classmates, gradually, in their eyes, I have become a taciturn weirdo.
My weird behavior is obvious, and I look a little dazed and even a little stupid. But I know I am normal, but I feel an indescribable irritability in my heart and don’t know how to vent. Only when I take my breath alone at night can I vent this mania.
One day in class, I had a sudden idea, why not try practicing that magic trick in class so that I can calm myself down. Thinking of this, I sat upright on the stool, with my hands hanging under the desk, and started to do movements.
Because my seat was against the wall and my eyes were staring at the front, the teacher on the podium did not notice any abnormality. However, the deskmate noticed something was wrong and turned his head and asked in a low voice: "What are you doing?"
"It's okay, move your fingers to play," I replied without looking back.
I made movements over and over again, my fingers were extremely flexible. Unfortunately, my ears were messy and I couldn't calm down at all, so I naturally had no effect after a class.
Later, I had an idea and focused my attention on the magic weapon of scissors in my mind. Gradually, the noise in the classroom left me, and no other sound could be heard beside my ears.
The moment the magic trick in my hand was completed again, I suddenly felt a fluctuation of air around me, and a faint breath was sucked into my body.
It turns out that as long as you focus on Nirvana Palace... I felt happy.
To be quiet in the midst of trouble, you don’t have to worry about where you are. Even in the noisy classroom, you can become a pure land. Just like the great man in the founding country, he chose to study in the downtown area.
"Man follows the earth, the earth follows the sky, the sky follows the Tao, and the Tao follows nature." I suddenly understood the meaning of this sentence in "The Thirty-Six Techniques of the Tao". Practicing Taoism is originally pure and quiet, and it can be done anytime and anywhere, without any form, everything goes with the flow. Bathing and burning incense, sitting cross-legged are just details, in order to make people calm their bodies and minds.
As long as you eliminate distracting thoughts and delusions and keep your spirit inside, you can naturally induce the energy of heaven and earth into your body. In this way, every day in class, I began my own spiritual practice career.
That kind of magic move cannot last too long. Over time, my fingers will feel sore and painful. Every time this time, I stop and continue to read the "Thirty-Six Techniques of the Taoist Cang" excerpted from my homework book.
The school has to have three days off on National Day, so we didn’t have Sunday. The school held more than ten days of classes before we came back.
I haven't been home for so long, but Ah Huang has been staying in the yard. After making a noise with me, the guy got up and slipped away. When it was almost dark, he reappeared in the yard with a pheasant that had just been bitten to death in his mouth. It seemed that he had prepared it specifically for me.
When I first returned to the village, I met my second uncle and asked me to go to his house for dinner at night. Now that there are pheasants, I naturally went over and said I would say hello and say I would cook at home tonight.
Boil the chicken feathers, remove the internal organs, wash them with white wine, and then I lift the kitchen knife and chop them up. Rural children were already in the family. In the 1990s, rural mechanization was not popular yet. Adults were busy in the fields every day, and sometimes they didn’t even have to eat. Most of the cooking tasks were handed over to their own children, so in our generation, they basically cooked some simple meals, and I was no exception.
I saw my mother cook this stewed chicken nugget before, but now I cook it myself and I learnt it well. I chop the chicken into pieces and add pepper powder, pepper noodles, salt, MSG and other seasonings to cook.
After using it for an hour, half a pot of pheasant meat was stewed with bright oil and shiny texture, and the meat was crispy. Untie the lid of the pot, and the aroma was overflowing, making people unable to help swallowing it a few times!
After I made a chicken leg for Ah Huang, I also added a piece to taste. The aromatic meat smell poured into my abdomen and lungs, making my whole body feel comfortable and I can't stop.
After dinner, I turned on the TV and watched it for half an hour, and then I turned it off again. Now the satellite pot has not been popular in the countryside, there are very few programs to watch, and the local stations are completely occupied by drug advertisements. Especially the oral liquid of X, it is even more elixir for treating various diseases.
It was still early, and I was not sleepy at all, so I simply sat cross-legged in the yard and practiced the method of absorbing qi in "Daozang".
In the countryside, there is more vitality, and I feel that the feeling of energy on my head is more than twice as strong as in school. It seems that someone is splashing flowers on his head from time to time, and it is cool.
The scissors magic weapon absorbed the vitality for half a month, and finally fell another piece of rust tonight, and there was a piece of golden yellow the size of soybeans. This discovery made me feel moved and I woke up from the meditation.
When I turned my head and saw Ah Huang beside me, I was stunned again.
Ah Huang was practicing? He saw his hind legs on the ground, his forelimbs seemed to be bowing, his mouth slightly opened, and a low sound was made in his mouth, as if he was thinking about something?!
Above my head, a moon is like washing!
I clearly felt that the vitality of heaven and earth was shaking around Ah Huang - it turned out that the rural legend was true.
It is said that some foxes and weasels are born with spirituality and know how to practice against the moon! Many of the older generation have seen them with their own eyes... So later, there were rumors among the people such as weasel worshiping the moon.
