Chapter 163 Advertisement

Applied health care company Wilmington Factory.

Boxes of goods are carried from the warehouse to the truck. The yellow cartons have the words "Band-Aid" printed on them. After the truck is filled with goods, it either goes to the train station and is sent to the states along the route and the east coast via the Pacific Railway, or along the interstate to all parts of California, as well as several nearby states.

Some of the fleets responsible for transport are organized by Johnson & Johnson. As a partner, Johnson & Johnson attaches great importance to the "Bondy" Band-Aid product.

In the warehouse, Carl, who was not wearing a suit but a gray work suit and a yellow hard hat, accompanied Evan, dressed in casual clothes, to chat while wandering around.

The warehouse manager saw Carl and wanted to come and accompany him.

Carl waved his hand at the warehouse manager, telling them to ignore themselves.

Evan looked at the empty warehouse and asked, "Carl, do you feel any special when watching boxes of products go down the assembly line, and the goods produced cannot keep up with shipments?"

Carl looked at the truck that was about to start outside the warehouse and said with emotion: "Of course it's excitement and pride."

"Evan, to be honest, I never thought I would one day lead a company, and it was an industrial manufacturing plant. It was great to watch the factory rise from white ground and the production line from drawings to real objects, the feeling of creating everything from nothing to something like God."

"If I were just a lawyer, it would be absolutely impossible to understand this feeling. So, Evan, I should thank you."

Evan smiled and said, "I don't need to thank you. It would be nice if you don't scold me to put too much pressure on you."

Carl smiled awkwardly, probably because Evan said it was.

Evan shook his head indifferently.

Afterwards, Carl said: "But Evan, it's so tiring to host a factory, especially for someone like me who became a monk halfway through."

Evan said: "Now I complain...why, the factory just started to operate and you want to give up?"

Carl shook his head and waved his hand, and said, "Of course not!"

"But the more I do, the more I feel that my abilities are still insufficient. I'm afraid that something goes wrong..."

Evan raised his palm and stopped Carl from continuing, saying with certainty: "Carl, it is a good thing to be self-aware, but you don't have to underestimate yourself."

"After looking at this factory, I think you're doing a good job."

"Even if there are any shortcomings, just continue to improve."

"Speaking of this, don't you communicate with Davidson often? I think this is great!"

"So, you can continue to do it using health care."

Carl thought for a while and nodded, "Evan, you can say yes."

Evan nodded with satisfaction and said, "Very good, the application health care company is a very important part of my plan. Although there is only the product of "Bondi" now, after the company gains a foothold, it will inevitably enter the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry."

This is the first time Carl has heard Evan talk about his plans for an application health care company, so he is slightly surprised, "Pharmaceutical Manufacturing?"

"Evan, we accepted Johnson & Johnson's shareholding. Wouldn't they have any objections to doing this?"

Evan said: "No, the pharmaceutical industry has a large market capacity! As long as the segments we entered do not conflict with them."

“That’s right.”

Carl nodded slightly.

"Okay, let's not talk about this for the time being. Nowadays, application health care companies are just newcomers in the industry. Let's talk about expanding their product lines when our reputation spreads."

Evan suddenly remembered something and turned around and asked, "By the way, Carl, where has the FDA reviewed the B-type (with sterilization function) band-aid?"

Carl replied: "It has entered the clinical experiment stage. According to Lewis, it will definitely be done within half a year."

"Half a year?" Evan frowned and said, "Is it going to take so long with the help of Johnson & Johnson?"

Carl looked at Evan's expression and said, "How about I urge Lewis?"

Evan refused to comment and asked instead: "Have the people from the American Cyanammonia Company left?"

People from Cyanammonia in the United States finally discovered the Band-Aid product two months ago. Although they discovered it late, their judgment on the prospects of Band-Aid is no worse than that of Johnson & Johnson. Therefore, they found Applied Healthcare Company in a very short time and tried to earn Band-Aids.

They attached great importance to this, and at the first place, a vice president came to visit him.

Unfortunately, it's too late. With Johnson & Johnson in front, Carl naturally doesn't know whether it's clear to the American Cyanamide Company. Therefore, when he first came into contact, Carl told the truth, hoping that they could give up on their own.

However, things didn't go as Carl thought.

The American Cyanammonia Company is much more difficult than Carl thought. The price offered is higher than that, and Carl was tempted later.

If the company was Carl's own, he would probably surrender.

After all, no one will be unable to get over money.

Unfortunately, Evan opened an application health care company in the direction of becoming bigger and stronger, and he is not short of money.

Therefore, American Cyanamide Company can only return with disappointment again and again.

Today is no exception.

Carl raised his wrist and glanced at it before replying: "I have been chatting for more than an hour, and I must have left."

"Lewis still has this measure."

"Okay, let's go back to Ingwood."

...

Half an hour later, Ingwood, Applied Healthcare Company Conference Room.

After Evan, Carr and others arrived, the meeting officially began.

The participants also had people from the Propaganda Department of Johnson & Johnson.

There is only one purpose of this meeting, that is, to jointly review the "Bondy" TV commercials.

With the rise of TV advertising, Hollywood has seen companies specializing in shooting commercials. The company that came today has a stake in CBS.

The conference room was equipped with a projection system, and after the curtains were pulled up, the deliberation meeting began.

The advertising company has prepared three items in total. Each time it puts one, the manager of one party of the advertising company will explain the meaning of the film, how the company's products are highlighted, and how the audience can remember it.

The length of the advertisement is short, but the manager is good at speaking, and the commentary is full of flowers and is extremely detailed.

Half an hour later, the screening ended, the curtains were pulled open, and the conference room became bright again.

Afterwards, the participants began to discuss which movie to choose, and the advertising manager was asked to explain it from time to time. After a fierce discussion, the advertising movie was determined on the spot and prepared to send it to the TV station for broadcast after the distribution was completed.

Although Evan attended the deliberation meeting, he didn't say a few words throughout the process, and Carl made the decision.
