Chapter 162: Enchanted

Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, a villa facing the sea.

Jack Parsons and his wife Cameron live here.

One Saturday, Parsons rarely went out or played his dark magic ceremony, but instead ordered his wife Cameron to prepare food and clean up to welcome guests.

Because of his weird behavior and obsession with black magic, Parsons has no normal friends. Even if he has, he has already cut off contact with him one after another.

Therefore, when Parsons suddenly said that someone was going to visit the house, his wife Cameron was particularly surprised.

“Beep…beep…”

Just as Parsons stood in front of the mirror and combed his hair, the sound of the car horn sounded.

Cameron shouted at Parsons: "Jack, the horn sounds outside our house, you'd better go out and have a look."

“What I said is…”

Parsons immediately put down his comb, finally sprayed shaping water on his head, and walked out of the house.

At this time, on the road outside the villa, a Ford sports car was moving forward at a speed slower than a person. There were four people in the car, including the driver. Evan was sitting in the co-pilot, and Rick and Orville were sitting in the back seat.

Evan asked Rick with his head in the back, "Are you sure Parsons lives here?"

Rick looked to the car window and replied, "Yes, haven't you seen the address?"

"Don't worry, the owner will come out to see when he hears the horn. Wouldn't you know then... Look, isn't he there?"

As he was talking, Rick saw Parsons pushing the door out.

Hearing Rick's words, the driver Bob stepped on the brakes and the car stopped on the side of the road.

"Go and get out of the car."

Rick was the first to open the car door and walked towards the villa where Parsons was.

Orville shrugged Evan in the car, spread his hands out of helplessness, and then opened the door.

"Bob, are you coming?"

Bob shook his head, and Evan saw this and had to get out of the car alone and walk at the end.

"Oh, I've found you!"

When he saw Parsons, Rick hugged him enthusiastically, "Your place is a little bit off, let's have a good meal!"

Parsons smiled and replied, "Sorry, I made a mistake. I should have waited outside the door."

"Rick, Orville, and Evan, welcome everyone to the humble house, please come in."

When Orville walked to Parsons, he looked him up and down, pretending to be surprised and said, "Okay, I dressed up and cleaned up, and I'm another mature senior."

Evan shook hands with Parsons and said, "Long time no see."

Parsons said: "I heard that you went to New York to promote the organization? It is really worthy of being the 'Number' of the organization, and you have worked hard and made great contributions."

"By the way, I often go to that 'magic house'."

"Oh, is that?" Evan automatically blocked the word "organization" in Parsons' mouth, which sounded less strange, "How do you feel?"

Parsons said: "It's okay, there are many people, but there are fewer like-minded people. Alas, if the organization needs to develop, it's still a long way to go."

Evan slapped Parsons' shoulder with a calm face and said, "It's up to you, Jack."

"Okay, Jack, let's go in."

Parsons nodded suddenly, and replied as if receiving an order: "Okay."

Walking into the living room, Parsons shouted: "Cameron, get the tea."

"Okay, come soon!"

Cameron, who was in the kitchen, responded.

After a while, a woman in an apron came to the living room with a teacup and teapot.

Parsons introduced: "This is my wife, Cameron."

Cameron greeted everyone while serving tea, "Good morning everyone!"

The three of them gave gifts one by one.

Cameron brought some fruit from the kitchen to retail it in the living room, and then participated in the topic of four people.

What did Rick and the other two come to Parsons' house today?

That's because Rick wanted to see the dark magic that Parsons played, and Evan and Orville were forced to accompany him.

The five of them first chatted in the living room for a while.

It was said to be a chat, but Parsons was a lecturer once and taught his previous understanding of black magic to Rick and the other two.

His wife Cameron knew his hobbies clearly.

The reason why the two were together was because Parsons believed that she was the most suitable partner to be attracted by her Inoch ritual (a ritual magic system based on a certain spirit of summoning and command). Of course, Cameron was not aware of it at the beginning.

Later, when the two were dating, Parsons often took her to some strange parties, and there were usually some ridiculous and creepy rituals at the parties. Only then did she know Parsons's hobbies, and Cameron didn't care about this.

Cameron is a painter. Although he is not interested in the Oriental Temple Church and the Selma Church that Parsons participated in, he likes tarot cards, so he does not dislike Parsons, who is extremely fascinated by mysticism.

Evan resisted the desire to interrupt and complain, and listened to Parsons' "mission". He looked at Rick and thought that this guy would not be abducted on the wrong path.

"Okay, that's all about the theoretical things. Of course, because our world is in the 'Dharma-Ending Age', all kinds of mystery and magic cannot work."

"However, I still want to show you the ritual I have collected and come with me."

As he said that, Parsons got up and took everyone out of the living room and headed to the mysterious space he specially arranged.

"babble……"

The wooden door made a harsh sound when it was pushed open, and Parsons walked into the house without turning on the light.

The whole room was occupied by red and black, and a huge magic circle-like pattern was painted on the floor. There was one thing on each of the four walls. On the east wall was a flag with the "United Hexagram" hanging, on the west wall was a devil's picture, on the north wall was an inverted cross, and on the south wall was a sign of organization. Evan saw this sign very familiar.

It is a simple pattern of the sun, big trees, water drops, ghost faces and flames being rigidly combined.

Those five symbols are the five colors of the "Planet Walker House" card.

Evan looked at Parsons with a weird look and thought to himself, it's over, this guy is helpless, he takes Rick's playful club seriously.

...

At four o'clock in the afternoon, Evan and his group left Parsons' home.

In the car, Evan looked at Rick who was still unsatisfied and asked, "Rick, you won't want to try it when you go back, so set up a magic circle at home, right?"

Rick was stunned, then waved his hand and said, "How is that possible? I'm just curious..."

"But don't you think the statement of 'mind power' is quite reasonable?"
