Chapter 812: Ancient Wooden Stairs

Seeing her friend who was so nervous that she was about to collapse, Alice thought for a while and whispered: "Stay here and don't run around. I'll find the source of the crying."

After saying that, he turned around and walked towards the stairs. Seeing the girl getting further and further away from him, fear swept over him like a tide.

Jason's heartbeat accelerated, he hesitated for a few seconds, then shouted and chased after him:

"Hey, hey, hey - don't leave me alone! Wait for me!"

The boy's heartbreaking shouts even drowned out the girl's sobs.

The whereabouts of Hatch Roland and the vice-president are unknown, the college is facing a crisis, and Alice feels heavy.

After he made such a noise, her head was buzzing. She turned her head and glanced at Jason. The boy was so frightened that he quickly covered his mouth, not daring to shout any more.

Like a frightened little white rabbit, it followed Alice with tears in its eyes, making every move carefully for fear of offending the lion in front of it.

The wooden stairs were old, damp and moldy, and some of them were broken. Black and red centipedes were crawling in and out of the gaps, and one crawled across the instep of Jason.

He was so frightened that he trembled all over, holding his breath and not daring to move.

Fortunately, the centipede didn't crawl up his trouser legs, and he let out a sigh of relief.

After regaining his composure, he turned his head and looked forward, his heart in his throat again - Alice was gone.

A gust of cold wind blew past him, and something seemed to rub the back of his head.

All kinds of terrible scenes appeared in his mind. He thought suddenly, and his scalp felt like it was going to explode. He screamed and rushed to the second floor: "Help! Help! Alice——"

The structure of the second floor is basically the same as that of the first floor, with three bedrooms and one living room. Alice stood in front of a door on the right, turned to look at the stairs, and raised her hand to try to stop Jason: "Don't run!"

The frightened Jason couldn't care less. Seeing Alice was like seeing a life-saving straw.

Not only did he not slow down, but he ran faster and faster.

As I was running, my feet suddenly became empty. The floor could not bear the pressure and completely collapsed!

Falling down involuntarily, he subconsciously touched his sleeve and took out a broom that had been broken into two pieces.

The boy's eyes widened, he couldn't ride this broom at all——

The feeling of falling suddenly disappeared, and Alice grabbed his hand and pulled him up.

"I didn't mean to cause trouble for you..." Jason bowed, like a child admitting his mistake in front of his elders.

Reaching out and pressing her swollen temples, Alice calmed down and whispered to the boy in front of her: "Jason... I won't blame you, but you need to keep quiet."

Jason nodded repeatedly like a chicken pecking at rice: "I promise not to make any noise!"

He suddenly thought of something and added, "Except for farting, I can't control this."

When his voice fell, the crying echoing in the room stopped abruptly. There were many small holes in the roof, and when the wind blew, it would make a creepy sound.

Alice didn't speak, and her eyes fell on the doorknob in front of her. Jason didn't dare to say anything, so he held the corner of her clothes and swallowed nervously.

The door handle is very old, and the paint on it is peeling off like tree bark. It looks like the wrinkled face of an ancient old man.

She didn't open the door immediately. Alice stretched out her index finger, rubbed the top of the handle with her fingertip, then turned the handle and opened the door.
