Chapter 666 You can't go

The speaker was Andrew. He looked panicked and was sweating.

Noticing the blond girl sitting on the bed, the boy was startled for a moment, and his frowning thick eyebrows slightly relaxed:

"Alice? Are you awake?"

"She just woke up. Don't yell in front of the wounded."

Pauline stood up and looked up at Andrew with a reproachful tone.

"But -" Andrew raised his hand and took half a step forward, but hesitated to speak.

"Linsi, it doesn't matter to me."

Holding the quilt covering her body tightly, Alice spoke loudly, her voice hoarse.

She resisted the itchiness in her throat and asked the boy who broke into the treatment room:

"Tell me...where is the president? We will go to support immediately."

Andrew did not answer immediately. He glanced at the girl on the bed, but did not dare to look directly into her eyes.

There is a problem.

He must be hiding something——

A flash of light flashed through her amber eyes, and Alice's gaze fell on the quilt.

"You can't go, Alice."

Mei Paulins spoke, she turned around and looked directly at the blonde girl, "Even if you go, you won't be able to help."

"Okay, then I'll listen to you."

Alice seemed to have compromised. She lowered her head and looked at her palms, and her voice dropped:

"I...can't be a burden."

Unexpectedly, Alice was so obedient. Pauline and Andrew looked at each other.

"Okay. You can rest peacefully and leave the rest to us."

The two of them walked to the hospital bed together, and Pauline's voice sounded.

Alice lowered her head and didn't look at her.

Thin body, silent and sad.

This is not at all like how she should behave...Alice has always been a cheerful and optimistic person.

Now, everyone's heart is heavy.

It is obviously too difficult for her to continue to maintain her previous optimism.

Pauline sighed silently and put her hand on her friend's shoulder.

Alice doesn't know about the president yet - if she knew, she would definitely be close to collapse.

Hope she can be strong...

"Let's go." Pauline let go of her hand and whispered to Andrew.

When the young man heard this, he suddenly raised his head and looked at the girl beside him, he hesitated to speak——

"Let's talk after we get out..."

Pauline sat down and made a silent gesture.

"Don't disturb Alice's rest."

The door of the treatment room opened quickly and then closed gently, making a soft "click" sound.

After a long time, Alice raised her head and looked at the sky outside the window.

His eyes are like stars, bright and dazzling.

There is no trace of sadness or loneliness.

The window was opened with a brush, and the white and green curtains danced gently in the afterglow of dusk...

When Pauline opened the door again, the sky had completely darkened.

"like……"

She opened her mouth to call her friend's name, and her eyes fell on the treatment bed——

The quilt is still there, but the person covering it has disappeared.

The window was opened, the cold night wind howled into the room, and a blood moon hung in the sky.

The entire magic academy seemed to be shrouded in a layer of red gauze.

The plate in the girl's hand fell, and food and milk spilled all over the floor.

"Sure enough... you won't be so obedient."

Pauline's voice was blown away by the cold wind outside the window.

Someone came up behind her with a gentle and steady voice:

"Where did Alice go?"

"If I said I didn't know, would you believe me?"

She asked in a pretensely relaxed tone, without looking at the person standing behind her.

"I believe you." The voice of the person behind him was low, "We are all her friends."

"I hope she won't meet the person she wants to see." The visitor sighed softly, "Do you want to go find her with me?"

Mei Paulins finally turned around and looked at the wizard standing behind her.
