Four hundred and forty-eighth chapter twists and turns

The air in the restaurant is decreasing at an extremely fast rate.

These animal sculptures with life and autonomous consciousness all feel the temperature changes.

At the same time, the four walls of the restaurant, including the stone pillars surrounding the room, the ceiling of the restaurant, and the marble floor, were all covered with a layer of blue ice crystals. The entire room was as cold as a huge ice cellar.

Ice began to form under the feet of all the sculptures. The rooster statue tried to break free from the ice on its soles, but no matter how hard it tried, it could not stop the ice from covering its body. Why did so much ice suddenly appear in the room?

Of course this is no ordinary ice. After realizing this, the rooster sculpture opened its mouth anxiously and shouted:

"It's magic! You actually used magic to plot against us!"

After hearing these words, all the sculptures stared at Alice with wide eyes, only to find that the little witch didn't have a wand in her hand at all, and she never chanted a spell. Are all magicians today so powerful?

Can magic be activated without a wand or a formula?

"I didn't plot against you." The blond little wizard shrugged and said in a playful tone, "However, your plan is still too clumsy and your acting skills are too bad."

Having said this, Alice shook her head slightly, her helpless voice sounding like she was feeling sad for the sculptures present.

Seeing Alice's expression of sympathy and pity, in the eyes of the animal sculpture, not to mention how deserving of a beating it was.

"You, you're talking nonsense!" the rooster sculpture shouted at the top of its lungs, "It's obviously you who used magic to attack, little liar! Damn it..."

Hearing this, the little blond witch raised the corners of her mouth and tilted her head to smile. The moment the rooster lowered its head and screamed at her, she stretched out her left hand wearing a black glove and grabbed the rooster's mouth. The rooster roared angrily.

Stopped abruptly.

"Hey," Alice leaned closer to the chicken's mouth and stared at the other person's cross-eyed eyes, "Screaming has no effect, it can only make noise. Of course I can explain why I didn't attack sneakily, but there is no need to do so."

The rooster sculpture was so angry that it almost rolled its eyes and fainted. The ice layer spreading upward had already reached its neck.

Now it could only keep lowering its head, unable to avoid Alice's left hand. It was obviously a white and tender little hand, but it clamped its mouth tightly like iron pliers.

No matter how hard it tried to open its mouth, the hand holding the chicken's mouth was still like a nail nailed to the chicken's mouth, motionless.

"I know you are their leader, Big Rooster." Alice's words made the rooster sculpture tremble with fear. "Don't be so nervous. We will not take your lives. We just want to ask you to do a favor."

The golden hair on Alice's head swayed, a glint of brightness flashed in her eyes, and her tone was as relaxed as if she were talking about the weather.

A giant bear-shaped sculpture suddenly interrupted:

"What are you doing? You guys, you are really in the same group with those people!"

Alice let go of her hand holding the chicken's beak, turned around and looked at the giant bear sculpture diagonally behind her, and raised her eyebrows slightly. "Those people...who are they? Can you explain them in detail?"

Because the giant bear sculpture is tall, it is a head taller than other sculptures, so the ice layer has not completely covered its body.

When Alice let go of her hand holding the chicken's beak, the entire body of the rooster sculpture quickly turned into an ice sculpture.

Now, except for the giant bear sculpture, the other fifteen sculptures have been completely sealed by the ice.

When the giant bear saw his companion become like this, it would be a lie if he said he wasn't scared. Although it looked like a bear, it didn't have the courage of a bear. When Alice asked him this, he was really scared to death.

But for the sake of its final dignity, it still managed not to scream. From this point of view, the giant bear is calmer than the big rooster as the leader.

"You asked me to say it, and I just said it? You, wizards like you are too overbearing!"

The giant bear sculpture refused to answer. It was really scared and angry now, so it forced itself to say something, but it didn't even dare to look into the eyes of the little blond wizard.

It seems that he is afraid of being killed by the other person's eyes.

"You might as well tell this. We are by no means bad people. The reason why you have frozen your companions is because you plan to do something. We definitely don't want to harm any member of Opslet."

Alice quickly made a promise, with a solemn tone and sincere eyes. "Perhaps all this is just a misunderstanding. If you tell us, we can clear up the misunderstanding between us, and we can work together to find a way to defeat the enemy you mentioned."

Alice withdrew the mental power she had released, and the mental pressure on the giant bear immediately disappeared, becoming much more relaxed.

"Perhaps, I can trust you for once?" The giant bear sculpture lowered its head, looked into Alice's sincere amber eyes, and said in an uncertain tone.

"You can trust us."

The president of magic who was sitting on the dining chair spoke, and the ice girl raised her head, her long silver hair hanging down from her shoulders, with a slight blue tint at the end.

The right hand placed under the dining table was retracted. The giant bear sculpture saw the black wand in Brenda's hand and suddenly realized.

It turns out that the person who froze her companions was not Alice, but the silver-haired wizard who had not made any big moves since his appearance.

Doing this in front of the giant bear is to gain greater trust from the other party.

"As you can see, the one who really attacked you is below."

Brenda stood up gracefully and waved the slender black wand in her hand. Then, the top of the wand bloomed with ice-blue light and fell on the giant bear sculpture.

The ice covering the surface of the giant bear's body instantly exploded into tiny bright blue light spots, turning into white snowflakes in the air and falling to the ground. The giant bear regained its freedom of movement.

This approach removed most of the doubts in the giant bear's heart, and at the same time, its trust in the two little wizards also increased a lot.

After all, if the two wizards in front of them are really in the same group with the outsiders, there is no need to talk so much nonsense to them, and they are willing to unlock the magic on them.

Although the giant bear is not very smart or very good at talking, it is not stupid. It understands that it should choose to believe now, and it can feel that there is no trace of malice in the eyes of the two little wizards.

"Before you arrived at Opslet, a group of weird puppets came here. They claimed to join us, but they injured our guard."

Having said this, the giant bear's voice deepened,

"They broke into Opslet, bombed the city's ground, destroyed houses and buildings, and then occupied Opslet's underground space, not allowing any city member to come close to their territory."
