Chapter 116 The Gloomy Sky

Time goes back to when Willett was called to the office.

Willett was told that this morning, another magic student was attacked and suffered severe burns all over his body and was dying.

The director of the department and all the instructors have proposed to strengthen the vigilance. This is the case for the Demon Control Group. As the president of the Magic Association, Brenda also has to lead the members of the Magic Association to increase vigilance.

The attack was suspected to be the work of a fire-type faller. The strange thing is that there were no signs of explosion or arson at the incident site.

You must know that even if you use the Cleaning Technique, it will leave the smell of physical modification. Unless you have the ability of the Great Restoration Technique, the scene can be restored to the original state.

But there are only a handful of people who master the Great Restoration Technique, even in Credo Magic Academy.

Why would a person with such a powerful ability bother to restore the explosion site? What is the other party's purpose?

No one knows this, there are too few clues left.

The other party's modus operandi was clever, but the person who was attacked did not die as a result. It is certain that the other party's purpose was not to kill the person who was attacked.

But this is of little help in understanding the truth.

The sky that was clear and cloudless just now seemed to be cast by a vague shadow, and a long-planned plan was quietly underway.

Brenda walked out of the building behind her and looked at the sky that seemed to be a little gloomy. Her beautiful long eyebrows were slightly frowned. The relaxation and joy of getting the summoned beast were diluted by this incident and became irrelevant.

Willett walked down the steps step by step, worried. She knew that she had to complete the task as soon as possible. It was urgent to strengthen her vigilance and be alert to abnormal situations. If she wanted to prevent more magic students from being harmed, she must do her best.

Be prepared for investigation and alert.

But for some reason, after drinking a cup of bitter coffee today, after leaving the summoning tower or leaving the office to be precise, her brain became clumsy and heavy, as if a lot of cotton or paste had been stuffed in her brain.

The icy blue eyes also seemed to have lost their former brilliance, as if a layer of gray had been cast on the glass, becoming hollow and lifeless.

Willett felt that something was wrong with her state. She saw her own shadow reflected on the glass window, and a pair of eyes that looked very strange.

It's obviously my own eyes, but why doesn't it feel like my own eyes at all?

Willett saw his own shadow in the glass, facing her motionless. Those eyes were like cold and sharp knives, piercing into the beating heart of Brenda's chest!

The real pain made Willet wake up instantly. When she opened her eyes, she found that she was standing on a path paved with marble, and there was a little girl standing on the right.

This was not the location of a magic office building at all. Willett opened her eyes alertly and scanned the surrounding environment, confirming that this was a remote place that she didn't usually go to.

And the only person standing in the same scene with her, apart from those magic buildings, was the little girl standing not far to her right...

Realizing that the situation was not good, Willett's right hand hidden in his sleeve had already grasped the slender black wand, ready to use magic to fight at any time.

However, when Willett looked at the little girl, the wariness and vigilance in his ice-blue eyes instantly disintegrated.

The little girl was only five or six years old, with long silver hair, delicate facial features, and ice-blue eyes. She seemed to be carved out of the same mold as Willett.

The little girl looked at her with a pair of big eyes, and the tenderness in those eyes seemed to overflow. The girl tilted her head slightly, stretched out her left hand to Verlit as if to invite:

"Long time no see, Abu, do you still remember me?"

Brenda stared at the little girl blankly, her long, slightly curled eyelashes trembling slightly in her ice-blue eyes...

Compared with the watery tenderness in the little girl's eyes, the ice and snow girl's eyes showed uncontrollable sadness, and she even seemed to have forgotten where she was, and there was only this person in her heart.

Feeling the silver-haired little girl's inviting invitation, she slowly raised her hand, keeping her eyes on the other person's eyes, and the distance between their hands was slowly getting closer.

The smile on the silver-haired little girl's mouth became deeper and deeper, but for some reason, the sadness overflowing from the ice and snow girl's eyes suddenly stopped, and her empty gaze gradually became brighter and as cold as ice and snow.

The girl here whispered:

"You are not her."

The smile on the corner of the silver-haired girl's mouth froze, and her eyes were not as gentle as water, but just as ferocious as a savage beast, which was very inconsistent with that delicate and beautiful smiling face.

After being discovered, the girl showed no signs of panic and uneasiness except for a look of surprise. She sneered:

"It's too late!"

Willet was shocked. He found that although he had seen through the other party's false mask, his movements towards the girl's hand were out of control at all. It was as if he was being forcibly pulled by a very huge force, like a puppet being pulled by strings.

Forced to shake hands...

Willett tried to lift the wand hidden in his sleeve to fight against the little girl's control.

However, for some reason, the little silver-haired girl narrowed her eyes and saw through Willet's plan at once.

Willett only felt an invisible giant hand clasping his wrist, and the hand holding the wand could not move at all.

The right shoulder sank a few centimeters due to the huge force. Just as her hand was about to touch the other's fingertips, a figure suddenly broke through the barrier and rushed into Brenda's sight.

Then, she felt her waist tighten, and she was forcibly taken away from the outstretched hand of the silver-haired little girl. Then, there was a deafening explosion that resounded throughout the world.

In the light of the sky, Alice's dazzling golden hair was flying, and the smell on her body was as reassuring as sunshine. Willett grabbed Alice's shoulders and gave her complete trust in the approaching explosion.

They managed to escape, but their friend's eyes flashed with anger as if they were filled with fire, and Willett had no choice but to remind him:

"You can put me down."

When Alice heard the president's voice, she reacted and let go of the other person's hand. She looked around with a pair of amber eyes, showing a lion-like aura and majesty.

Willett turned around and looked at where the little girl was behind him. Except for a charred trash can, there was no one there.

...The traces of the explosion were still there. Thinking of the previous case, Brenda knew that according to the other party's habits, the site after the attack should be dealt with.
