Chapter 243 Stryker's visit

Springfield, Ohio, USA.

In a theme park full of tourists, Logan's former teammate Brady was building a small stall inside.

He arranged his shop into a miniature of a small amusement park, small trains, small lanterns, and small Ferris wheels. Only children would like these things.

After the day's work, Brady was lying comfortably on the sofa, and the colorful light bulbs on the roof lit up one by one, although they were not connected to the circuit.

"Dongdongdongdongdong." A knock on the door slowly rang out.

Brady trembled all over, and he had some bad premonition.

Open the door and a young man he didn't know.

"Who are you looking for?"

"Hey, Merry!" Motie said in surprise, "Oh, sorry, I recognized the wrong person. You look exactly the same as a friend of mine."

Can it be different? Brady and Merry, the Hobbit in the Demon World, are an actor.

"Who are you?" Brady asked with a frown.

"Hello, my name is Ain, I'm here to save you." Mo Tie said.

"Save me?"

"Yes, I believe you have a premonition, and Stryker won't let you go."

Brady was shocked, and Mo Tie's words revealed two information - he knew that Stryker asked them to capture mutants for experiments, and he also knew that Stryker had planned to deal with these mutants.

Who revealed Stryker's affairs? Brady can no longer care about it. He only cares whether Mo Tie can save him.

"Are you saying true? Who sent you?"

Mo Tie smiled slightly, patted Brady on the shoulder, took one of his hair, and said, "Of course it's true, don't believe it, look."

The next second, Brady was stunned.

The uninvited man waved his hand, and a person appeared out of thin air in the room, exactly like himself.

"Let him stay in this room instead of you. Victor will appear in more than ten minutes. We might as well hide nearby and see what the result will be."

Mo Tie's words made Brady frightened. He didn't care about where this clone came from, so he quickly put on his coat and was about to go out.

Hiding on the Ferris wheel in the park, Brady looked out through the glass door, and sure enough, Victor knocked on his door in a short while.

Mo Tie was very embarrassed. The last time he was on the Ferris wheel was with Xiaoying, why was he a man this time?

After waiting for a few more minutes, Victor came out swayingly, with a very pleasant expression.

Brady's face was pale. He and Victor had known each other for so many years, and knew that this was a unique expression of satisfaction after killing people.

"Let's go, I'll take you to a safe place, or do you want to take another look at your death?"

"Huhuhuhuhu" A helicopter landed in the park, Motie greeted Brady and said.

"No, no need."

The helicopter sent Brady to the "Xavier Genius Academy". A humanoid permanent generator like this should save Charles a lot of electricity bills.

A few days later, Stryker drove to the "Iron Lumberyard".

He waited at the door until Logan got off work and drove out in an off-road vehicle.

"Oh my God, long time no see."

Stryker said as he knocked on Logan's car window with a smile floating on his face, wanting to create a good opening atmosphere.

“Get out of here.”

"Don't do this, Logan, do you still remember Agent Zero?" Stryker continued to smile, as if he was using an acquaintance to break the embarrassment of chatting with Logan.

Behind him, an Asian man in a black windbreaker stood coolly in front of Logan's car door and knocked on the window with the muzzle of his pistol.

Logan disdained this behavior of "expressing presence" and sneered, "Does he better shoot first and ask questions?"

This sentence also satirizes the previous style of Stryker's team killing innocent people.

Agent Zero shot and exploded the cigar in Logan's mouth without saying a word, and then said "coolly": "Are you still smoking that cheap cigar?"

Stryker didn't want their conversation to be deadlocked, and said kindly: "Listen, kid, I have a job to do."

Logan refused without hesitation: "No, I've found a job."

Agent Zero laughed and said, "Is the lumberjack? Is it eighteen thousand dollars a year?"

Logan kindly corrected him: "Eighteen thousand years, more than you can earn in a year."

Agent Zero said with a slight smile: "Oh, I just want to earn some extra money now."

Logan raised his fist to his chest, which was his preparation to stretch out his bone claws, and said, "A coincidence, I'm a little itchy."

"Zero, get back to the car!" Stryker's face darkened and he ordered.

He didn't want this idiot to interfere with his conversation with Logan anymore.

Then Stryker took out a newspaper with the news of Brady's death.

"Logan, I'm sure someone is clearing us old team members. As far as I know, only Victor is still alive now. And they must have grasped our whereabouts, home addresses..."

"I can handle it, you don't have to worry about it." Logan said bluntly.

"No, the problem now is that the country needs you, you have to cooperate with us to find out these people." Stryker still tried to convince Logan, although he knew from the beginning that hope was slim.

"I am Canadian."

Sure enough, Logan stepped on the accelerator and left.

On the way, the radio of the off-road vehicle rang: "Logan, I'm Rose, I'll confirm something with you. Did someone shoot in the logging yard just now? Is anyone injured?"

"Well, no one was injured, that was just an accident," Logan explained.

"Okay, then I'll activate the seventh safety order of the logging yard." Rose lost her voice after she said that.

Logan was a little surprised. He had never heard of the logging yard with safety orders, but this had nothing to do with him, so he ignored it.

When he got home and talked about Stryker with Kara, his tone was very plain, like he was telling a joke, but he didn't notice Kara's face that was frozen for a moment.

This is a "signal" that Stryker urged her to act quickly!

Through these years of life, Kara has truly understood Logan. She knows that this is a man full of pain. She accidentally kills her father but cannot commit suicide. She is trapped in a nightmare on the battlefield but cannot escape.

Despite this, Logan still lived strongly, even if he was an ordinary lumberjack, he did not fall into depravity.

This is a kind person.

If it weren't for the purpose of rescuing her sister, she wouldn't be able to refuse to live with him until old age.

At night, Cara and Logan sat on the roof and looked at the moon. She pointed to the round moon and said, "Dear, do you know why the moon is so lonely?"
