Chapter 112: Almost Drunk into Nepal(1/2)

Stephaniehwang (Stephanie Huang) is a Korean-American girl who was born and raised in California, USA.

She has had a dream of becoming a star since she was a child, and her family is very supportive of her efforts to pursue her dream.

Her family members are a bit strange. Her mother is a strong woman who is responsible for making money to support the family, while her father is idle all day long. Occasionally, he will stay for a while and then go home with a sum of money, but he will soon gamble it all away.

Further down, there are the ordinary brothers and sisters, and she, who has high hopes from her mother and has been practicing music and dancing since she was a child.

Her mother had promised her that when she turned sixteen, she would send her to work as a trainee in a big company in South Korea.

She is also full of expectations for her future life. She will become a trainee, make a smooth debut, and become a big star... This is how her future should develop.

But...things backfired.

When she was thirteen, everything changed.

Her father disappeared again when her mother was suffering from cancer. Her beloved mother also died of cancer soon after, and the backbone of the family suddenly collapsed.

Fortunately, her mother left a sum of money for her before she left, and her brother and sister were able to become independent.

Relying on the money left by her mother, she was able to support herself until she was sixteen years old and went to South Korea to pursue her dream.

However, the sudden appearance of her so-called father disrupted her plan again.

Seizing inheritance, selling off property, drinking and gambling, in just three months, her already bad life became even worse.

In this way, she endured it for a whole year.

Finally, at the age of fifteen, she plucked up the courage to leave home alone and go to Los Angeles. She participated in the s.m.castingsystem talent show held by South Korea's s.m entertainment company in Los Angeles and was successfully selected.

In this way, she came to South Korea alone, as if leaving her hometown.

On the first day she came to the company with the staff, she met a toxic girl and a sunny and handsome boy at the door of a practice room.

"Ah, is this a new trainee? He looks very cute!"

The girl had a pair of long and slender legs that she was envious of, but they looked a bit draggy.

"Okay, don't scare people." The big boy pressed the girl's head and pushed her away. With a bright smile on his face, he stretched out his hand: "Hello, you are new here, let's get to know each other.

, my name is Lin Yimao."

Huang Meiying, this is her Korean name.

Not very familiar with Korean, she looked at the enthusiastic big boy and shyly stretched out her hand: "Huang Meiying."

"Your accent is weird? You're not Korean?" Lin Yimao asked curiously.

The staff around the girl also stood up and explained to Lin Yimao in time: "She is Korean-American and grew up in the United States."

"Korean-American?" Lin Yimao touched his chin, which had not yet grown a beard.

The staff member said to Huang Meiying in English again: "These two are also trainees in the company. They both joined in 2000. Lin Yimao and Cui Xiuying can be regarded as your seniors in the company."

I heard this staff member say before that s.m.com has very strict management of its artists, especially the hierarchy, and rudeness will be punished!

Huang Meiying quickly said hello to the two of them in broken Korean, but because she was not familiar with the grammar, she spoke awkwardly, which was a bit funny.

"Yeah, you see she is much better than Sika. At least she dares to speak." Cui Xiuying nudged Lin Yimao with her elbow.

Lin Yimao glared at Cui Xiuying. This girl pushed him a little too hard and it hurt his ribs.

At this time, the staff member said to Lin Yimao: "Since Yimao Xi is here, please take her to get familiar with the company first, and I will arrange her accommodation."

Lin Yimao nodded: "Okay."

The staff member turned around and explained to Huang Meiying again in English, and then left.

After seeing the staff leave, the long-legged girl walked up, looking like a gangster: "Ah, my name is Cui Xiuying, let me teach you some rules today."

Then, Lin Yimao pressed her round face again and pushed her away: "Don't make trouble, people may not understand what you are saying. Go and call Sika."

"Why do you want me to run errands..." Cui Xiuying muttered.

"Are you going or not?" Lin Yimao stretched out his fist and shook it in front of her eyes.

"Hmph~"

Cui Xiuying turned around, opened the door to the practice room, and shouted inside: "Sika~ come out to pick up the guests!"

"boom!"

Lin Yimao finally hit Cui Xiuying on the head: "What do you mean by receiving guests? It sounds so ugly!"

"You didn't teach me this!" Cui Xiuying covered her head.

Huang Meiying looked curiously at the carefree girl and the mature and serious boy in front of her, and suddenly felt a little envious.

[They have such a good relationship...]

Because she is of Korean descent in the United States, she often suffers from white eyes, not to mention how many friends she has...

At this time, a sweet voice came from the trainees: "Xiuying, what's wrong?"

This is the third trainee Huang Meiying has seen in the company, a girl with delicate features and as beautiful as a little princess.

"Well, this new guy is an American. He doesn't seem to speak Korean well."

There is a saying that goes well, when a fellow villager meets a fellow villager, tears well up in his eyes. Jessica has no other feelings except surprise, and Huang Meiying's eyes are already red.

At the age of fifteen, how much courage does it take to leave your hometown alone and come to a strange country? How dissatisfied with your current life do you make such a choice?

At least...the language barrier has been eliminated for the time being.

"Today is a vocal class, but the teacher didn't come, so oppa Yi Mao took over."

Jessica led Huang Meiying into the practice room. There were many desks in this practice room, and many teenagers and girls were already sitting in it.

"Yimao oppa?"

"That's him." Jessica pointed to the big boy walking towards the podium.

"Oh! Isn't he also a trainee?" Huang Meiying said in surprise.

"No, he is not an ordinary trainee." Jessica smiled mysteriously.

As time goes by, Huang Meiying has met many friends, including seniors who are also trainees and seniors who have already debuted.

In order to integrate into the group as soon as possible, no matter how bad her Korean is, Huang Meiying will try her best to communicate with others in her lame and funny accent, making a lot of jokes every time.

Gradually, she became familiar with all these trainees.

Everyone also likes this California girl with a sweet smile.

Of course, the people with whom she has the best relationship are Lin Yimao, whom she met when she first came to the company. It was under the leadership of these three people that she was able to quickly integrate into the group.

【It’s such a wonderful day like this!】

She couldn't help but sigh.

until

Her father came to the door...

"I said, please don't bother me again!" Not far outside the company, Huang Meiying looked at the slovenly middle-aged man in front of her with some excitement.

Many trainees who happened to be traveling together after class chose to stop and watch, including Lin Yoona, who had a good relationship with Huang Meiying.

"How can I have you without me? Give me the money, and when this business is completed, we will have money!" the man said angrily.

Although she didn't quite understand what they were saying, Lin Yoona still noticed that something was wrong with the situation, and then said to her companions beside her: "You watch here, I'll tell Yi Mao Oppa!"

"Where were you when mommy died? Now you have the nerve to ask for money with shame?"

The quarrel between the two became more and more intense, and their emotions became more and more agitated.

"My cousin, you have the same virtues as that gentleman!"

Huang Meiying finally couldn't hold back her tears and looked almost crazy: "You are not allowed to say that to Mommy!"
To be continued...
