Chapter 59 A little salty

Shiina Kiri is not used to eating most of the local foods in Tokyo, such as natto and raw eggs, which he cannot eat at all, and sashimi is not very tasty either.

His eating habits are still limited to stir-frying, steaming and other food dishes.

Shiina Kiri originally thought that Asakura Neto would not be used to the food he cooked, but later she discovered that this girl didn't seem to be picky about food.

"We don't have much food at home. Can we have fried cabbage and fried pork chops today? Asakura."

"good."

He took out the cabbage from the refrigerator, cut it in half and then tore it into pieces with his hands. He used a kitchen knife to thin the part close to the root, and finally rinsed it with water.

After pouring some olive oil into the pot, Shiina Kiri threw the cabbage in and stir-fried, then poured in half a spoonful of salt.

"When frying vegetables with high water content such as cabbage, there is generally no need to add additional water. The salt can separate the water from the vegetables."

"Yes." Asakura Yin stood on his right side and watched quietly.

Shiina Kiri put the half-cooked cabbage on a plate, sauteed the chopped garlic, ginger and other ingredients in oil until fragrant, then added the cabbage to the pan and stir-fried again.

"Do you think it smells good?"

"Yeah." Asakura Yin looked at the cabbage in the pot and nodded.

"After frying, taste it. If it's too salty, you can add some water. If it's too bland, you can add some salt."

He picked up a piece of yellow cabbage with his chopsticks and motioned for the girl to open her mouth.

The girl frowned slightly, but looking at the boy's smiling eyes, she couldn't find any reason to refuse.

"How does it taste?"

Shiina Kiri watched her chew slowly and couldn't help but ask.

"Well, it should be... delicious." Asakura Yin said softly.

The word "should" was said very quietly.

"Then please Asakura, please bring the dishes to the dining table. I'll fry two more pork chops later and you'll be ready for dinner."

"Okay." The girl walked towards the living room carrying the plate of cabbage.

"Be careful, don't burn your hands."

Shiina Kiri looked at her somewhat clumsy back and couldn't help but remind her.

When Asakura Nei came back, Shiina Kiri showed her how to fry the pork chop again.

Originally, palm-sized pork chops can be fried in two portions in one pot, but in order to let Asakura Nei try it, Shiina Kiri deliberately fried them in two portions.

For the second piece of pork chop, the girl was asked to do it herself, while she stood aside and pointed fingers.

In fact, he felt that teaching her how to cook was quite verbose. After all, he felt that the girl didn't understand many things, so he couldn't help but explain it in detail.

There is really nothing wrong with the word gesticulating.

However, the girl studied very seriously and did not show any impatience because of his tight words.

Of course, she would panic and retreat when the oil hit her hands, and Shiina Kiri had no intention of ridiculing her.

ten minutes later.

The two sat opposite each other at the dinner table.

"I'm starting."

"..."

Shiina Kiri took a bite of the pork chop, which was crispy and juicy, and went very well with the meal.

As for Asakura Yin, she picked up a piece of cabbage with her chopsticks and ate it in small bites.

"Want to go for a walk in the evening? Asakura."

"Where to go?" the girl said and took a small bite of rice.

"Isn't there nothing to eat at home? We can just go to the supermarket to buy some."

The Lao Cai Supermarket is not too far away, so Shiina Kiri didn't buy much last time.

"Yeah." The girl agreed.

After Shiina Kiri took a mouthful of cabbage and put it into her mouth, she suddenly frowned and stopped chewing.

He immediately glanced at Asakura Nei in surprise, only to find that she was lowering her head and chewing cabbage. After chewing it twelve times, she took a small mouthful of rice.

Shiina Kiri put down her chopsticks and recalled the "information" she had compiled on the bus.

For example, I don’t like rice, I don’t like noodles, I don’t like…

The system never misses.

But every time he cooked, whether it was rice or noodles, Asakura Yin ate quietly and slowly.

Where is the slightest aversion to rice and noodles?

so……

"Asakura, do you like salty taste?"

He watched the girl pick up another piece of cabbage and couldn't help but ask.

"What?"

"Do you prefer your food to be salty or light?"

Asakura Yin thought for a moment. "Anything is fine, I'm not picky about food."

Shiina Kiri nodded, took a chopstick of cabbage, put it into the bowl, and tasted it carefully.

A little salty.

It seems like he added salt twice.

I put it in once when frying the cabbage to drain the water, and again when adding the seasoning.

This kind of stupid mistake should not be made, but everyone makes mistakes sometimes.

He watched the girl quietly eating cabbage, and for a moment he couldn't figure out whether it was what he thought, or whether the girl really was "not picky about food."

He suspected that she might have no sense of taste, but he didn't take the initiative to ask.

The last time he was on the bus, he sneered at the system's so-called "elimination method" and directly asked the girl what she liked to eat.

He felt that given the relationship between the two of them, this kind of question was harmless and could even enhance their relationship.

But this time it's different.

Perhaps from a normal person's point of view, having no sense of taste is just a trivial matter.

But you haven't experienced what she has experienced, so what qualifications do you have to think that this is a trivial matter and ask her not to mind it?

If it was really what he thought and the girl deliberately concealed the matter, she didn't want him to know in her heart.

Shiina Kiri moved the kale in front of herself.

"You're still growing. You need to eat more meat. You have to finish that pork chop, otherwise it won't grow. If you can't finish it, I won't help you eat it anymore."

"oh."

The girl remembered that he said she was too young when they met for the first day.

Although he explained later that that sentence referred to her age rather than her height, she still wanted to grow taller.

She brought the small plate with the pork chop in front of her and started to eat it in small bites.

Her appetite was very small, so after a short meeting she sat there, frowned and licked her lips while looking at the half-eaten pork chop in the bowl.

Shiina Kiri couldn't help but feel a little funny when she saw this.

"I'm kidding you, don't eat when you're full, otherwise it'll be bad for your stomach."

He put the girl's pork chop into his bowl and ate it.

Not to mention, Shiina Kiri feels like she has put on some weight since she keeps eating her leftovers recently.

I don't know if it's an illusion.

The girl watched him quietly as he ate the pork chop with her teeth marks on it, and his mouth became sticky.

She was thinking how great it would be if he was her alone.

It would have been great if she had refrained from looking for him that day.

If that were the case, she should be very happy now, after all, the person she likes doesn't dislike her at all.

After Shiina Kiri finished her meal, she started to clear away the dishes and walked into the kitchen.

Shiina Kiri walked to the sofa and sat down as before, with no intention of helping.

The girl doesn't want blind pity, which can be seen from the fact that she asked him to teach her how to cook several times.

However, if you have no sense of taste and foolishly want to learn to cook...

Shiina Kiri felt a little uncomfortable.

There is one more chapter, later, brothers.
