81. This is the glory of Tyre

The lifespan of elves is much longer than that of humans.

Desire was 562 years old.

Tyr stood alone in front of the grave of his old friend.

He had been alone for a long time and had not revealed his true inner thoughts to anyone.

Until he met Desire three hundred years ago.

Of course, Desire is not the elf's real name, but after following him around the world over the years, the elf has changed his name countless times, and they can't even remember which one he originally used.

It's different from using excuses to excuse Gary.

Tyr had described to Desire many times the kingdom they would establish in the future, and every time he promised the elf the position he would get, Desire would just smile.

He could no longer fulfill his promise.

Tyr knows very well that he is not a good person. It would be better to say that he is full of evil. In order to survive, he has done things that would make even the most evil and crazy devil feel disgusted.

But he never regretted any decision.

Whether it is using the blood of others to extend one's life, whether it is betraying one's relatives to survive, or betraying one's god in exchange for power, or even dedicating his wife, whom he has loved for hundreds of years, and the entire city where she lives to the evil god, so that

They could never find peace and tranquility, and turned into twisted semi-organic beings singing blasphemous sounds in the ancient kingdom.

He was not ashamed of it, but enjoyed it.

He has no bitter past, no wishes that must be fulfilled, and no unspeakable secrets.

He simply desires power and enjoys the pleasure of controlling the fate of others.

He just doesn't want anyone to stand higher than him, and he doesn't want to be easily crushed by others.

He just wants to have a place in that shining golden palace. He just wants to hang high above the stars with the gods, look down on all living beings, and be omnipotent.

Tire has tasted the most fragrant wine, seen the grandest banquet, participated in the most brutal war, and received the most loyal love.

And the most sincere friendship.

He has enjoyed all the wonderful things that a mortal can get.

So he decided to move on, it was that simple.

If the way forward requires him to kill people, he will let his hands be stained with blood. If he wants to betray, he will betray all those who trust him. If he wants to fall, he will fall into the most extreme madness.

As one year, one hundred years, one thousand years, and countless time passed by, he began to become numb. Killing and betrayal could not satisfy him, and his love and body could not arouse the slightest fluctuation.

He was alone on the road to conquer power, with no hope or light in sight, running like a machine that would never stop.

Until the man said to him:

"Hey, you want to move forward, right? Then let me help you."

He just looked at Desiree indifferently:

"Um?"

The elf smiled coquettishly:

"After all, you saved me from that hell."

Tyr glanced at him expressionlessly:

"It's just that they happened to be blocking my path, so they were all crushed."

Desiree did not retort:

"The reason is not important to me at all. What is important is that you appeared there."

Tyr said amusedly:

"What can you do for me? The villain who could enslave you was killed by me casually. Your power is nothing to mention to me."

The elf replied:

"everything."

Till only found it slightly interesting at the time:

"Oh? You must know that I am ten thousand times more evil than those who enslaved you. Do you want to follow me like this?"

The elf knelt down on one knee:

"I have seen the abyss a long time ago. This filthy world is not worthy of my kindness, but you are worth it, my lord."

Tyr asked:

"Follow me? For what? Just to repay a favor, then I will let you down."

The elf showed a pure smile, his teeth shining whitely in the sun.

He hasn’t smiled in hundreds of years:

"No, I saw it in your eyes, your ambition that would make all mortals tremble, your aloof and great desire."

Tyr asked curiously:

"Can you see it?"

The elf lowered his head:

"Sir, your wish is enough to dim the stars in the night sky and make the rainbow lose its color after the rain. Those are arrogant words that cannot be said.

"But I believe, sir, you will be able to realize it."

Tyr drew his sword and placed it on his right shoulder:

"Well, you have to fight for my glory and die for my glory.

"From now on, you are my glory."

The elf was so happy for the first time in his life.

Tyr couldn't help but chuckle as he recalled his expression at that time.

He has never regretted a decision in his life.

He may feel guilty, sad, and in pain, but he will not regret it.

So like all the decisions he made, he didn't regret killing Desire, even though he was so close to fulfilling his promise to Desire.

Presumably the elf would not regret it either. At the last moment, his hand holding the sword no longer trembled.

Tyr stood up again and poured the wine in front of the elf's grave.

"Today, we drink together to celebrate the upcoming victory."

No one responded to him.

He made a decision, a decision he shouldn't have made.

"I will fulfill my promise. When I hang high in the starry sky, I will bring back your soul in the unfathomable underworld of Helm. Even if I am in front of me is the terrifying Lord of Death, I will bring you back."

I will never back down even a little bit, there must be a place for you among the stars.”

This is Tyr's contract.

Till said that he thought so too and would never regret it.

If he needs to turn his back, he will.

Whatever he wants, he will get, that's all.

If he wants his friends to return to his side, he will move forward firmly towards this goal and will not be blocked by anything for a moment, just like when he pursued power.

Tyr is a man who doesn't like regrets.

But he suddenly changed his mind.

He originally wanted Wright to take George's place.

But now he plans to use his blood and screams to honor his friend.

Tyr turned around and left, and no one could stop him on his way, because he was Tyr, and he was the greatest winner.
