579. Hal and the Stickman

Hala hasn't seen Hevin for several days.

In fact, as she gradually "grew up", she spent less and less time with Hewen. During her interactions with other people, she discovered that this should be a normal human condition.

No one will stay with another person forever, not even parents, or even lovers. Human beings will not occupy all the positions in the lives of other similar people.

Hewen asked her to go to school because he wanted her to make some friends. Halla knew that, but in fact she didn't care about it at first.

Who do you know? Or don't you know? She doesn't think it matters.

What matters is what he thinks.

But as she came into contact with other humans, she did discover that there were still many things worth paying attention to in this world, all kinds of novel things, all kinds of humans, and books recording different knowledge.

The girl walked out of the room sleepily. Hewen was not at home today. She never made breakfast at this time.

Eating alone makes Hal feel strange. She doesn't need food to stay alive and active, and she has difficulty adjusting to breakfast without Hevin.

This makes no sense.

The girl simply washed her mouth and cheeks, then walked into Hevin's study, jumped on a chair, and then watched the changing bookshelf "hand out" the storybook she had not finished reading last time - "Morte d'Arthur".

On the title page, Hewen also left his own comments:

"Interesting story, the only flaw is that it's far from the truth, but that doesn't hurt."

Hala turned to the place where she read.

The story has come to the eve of the battle between King Arthur and Vortigern. King Arthur, leading the twenty-four Knights of the Round Table, has completed preparations for the battle. Several of Vortigern's giant dragons have also appeared at the forefront of the battlefield.

And at this moment, Merlin is...

Summon an alien spirit?

Why does it seem a little different from what I saw yesterday?

Ha La continued to read with questions in her eyes.

The book tells the story of the down-and-out liar wizard Merlin, who had to turn to an elf for help because he couldn't help determine the outcome.

The great high-latitude god who is extremely powerful, spans the vast galaxy, enslaves lower gods, and destroys countless civilizations - Stickman.

It is said here that Merlin sacrificed what he cared about most: his true love, the Lake Fairy Vivian, in exchange for a wish.

Then King Arthur defeated Vortigern with divine help and lived a happy life.

Ha La touched her hair.

Something seems not quite right.

She continued to turn down the page, and found the words "stick man" and an arrow pointing to the next page.

She continued to turn over it.

A stick figure is drawn on the left page.

And she was also surprised to find that only the cover remained at the back of the originally very thick book, as if this was the end of the story.

Then……

The stickman waved to Ha La:

"hello."

Hala calmly placed the book upright on the table, and then looked at the stick figure.

The stickman cleared his throat:

"Ahem, Miss Hola, you can call me Stickman, a terrifying monster who once wandered the universe, the terminator of civilization, and the last nightmare of the gods.

"And when I came to your beautiful world, I suddenly realized that I was an unforgivable bastard in the past, and I destroyed so many beautiful things.

"So I confessed my mistakes and vowed to repent, and now I have changed my career to fulfill the wishes of good people.

"Kid, what do you wish for?"

Ha La shook her head:

"No."

Stickman said:

"No, actually you do, but you haven't realized it yet..."

Hara reached out and closed the book.

"Hey, wait! Don't!"

boom.

Hala returned the book to the shelf and turned to go out.

The stickman floated in front of her with his hands on his hips, shaking his head and saying:

"Are today's young people so rude? They don't even listen to what the elderly have to say."

Hala said:

"I don't want to deal with you."

The stickman smiled and said:

"Even if it causes you to miss your chance to save Heven?"

Hal didn't believe what the stickman said:

"Hevin told me about you, and he told me to ignore you."

The stickman rubbed his black head:

"Yes, because he doesn't want you to worry. If you don't believe me, that's fine, but you can listen to what I have to say first, and then go to Hewen for confirmation.

"There's nothing to lose by listening to it anyway, right?"

Ha La walked out of the study directly, leaving the stick figure behind.

It flashed on Ha La's shoulder instantly:

"Do you remember that puppy that lived in your body? It was Odin's old enemy, at least that's what fate said. You should be able to barely feel his power that transcends time.

"But if he were face to face with Odin, the King of the Gods could easily end his life. If Loki and Tyr hadn't stopped Odin's atrocities, Odin would have killed this beast when it was just born.

Little guy.
