305. The wolf and the girl

Things went smoothly beyond their expectations.

Caesar didn't even waste a word and asked the heavily guarded guards to make way for him.

They walked straight through the gate of the castle, passed by the training ground that was obviously transformed from a square, and arrived in front of a majestic and gorgeous tower.

But when they walked in, they found that the temperament inside was completely inconsistent with the appearance on the outside. Elegant sculptures were randomly placed in corners, retro wall reliefs were blocked by crude weapons, and oil paintings praising pastoral scenery were piled up like garbage.

together.

It is obvious that this castle has had at least two owners.

The fate of the previous lord is also self-evident.

The lame wolf soon appeared in front of them.

Surprisingly, the person who placed these precious works of art carelessly was not a wild and unruly man, but a well-groomed elderly gentleman.

His silver hair is meticulously groomed, his close-fitting suit perfectly sets off his temperament, and his exquisite monocle makes him look like an academically knowledgeable old gentleman.

Lame Wolf leaned on his cane and walked towards them slowly step by step:

"Sit down, kids."

The old noble sat down first, followed by Caesar and sat opposite him, and Holla and others also sat next to Caesar in turn.

"Sir Lamb, thank you for your hospitality."

Lame Wolf Lamb waved his hand:

"You're welcome, you're welcome, but I heard that your kingdom has encountered a little trouble recently, so you still have time to visit me?"

Caesar said:

"Actually, we have something to ask for."

The implication of Lame Wolf's words is actually very obvious. Under such circumstances, the Queen still sends people to do things, so this matter is likely to affect the war she faces.

Lame Wolf is about to open his mouth.

He asked leisurely:

"What can you give me?"

Caesar said:

"Aren't you going to ask us what we want?"

Lame Wolf Lamb said with a smile:

"No matter what you want, I will only have two answers. One is rejection, and the other is a price that is difficult for you to agree to, but you have to accept in the end."

Caesar said:

"We're going up."

Lame Wolf slowly turned the cane in his hand:

"Then what are you willing to pay? I won't agree to anything less."

Caesar said:

"You're not the only one with access to this place."

Lamb said:

"But I am your best trading partner. Others may not have the same price as me, and they may do some irrational things.

"It seems like you have a choice, but in fact you don't."

Caesar said:

"I'm not afraid of them."

Lamb sneered:

"Caesar, your name should come from your father. You do look like that old guy. I have to say that your personality is also similar. Your parents hid you quite well, but I want to tell you,

Even if you inherit your mother's power, you can't leave this place with those behind you.

"Obviously you are not running away. It is much better to run away to other places than to come to me. Moreover, you cannot take so many people with you when you run away, so you are looking for reinforcements. But I want to tell you, if you leave today

If I leave this room, no one else will be as polite as I am.

"You may be able to survive, maybe not, but these guys behind you will all die without their bodies intact. There are not many women in this place. My child, you have no right to choose."

Caesar was silent for a moment:

"You may have misunderstood. I am much stronger than you think, and..."

Lame Wolf stretched out his hand to interrupt Caesar:

"Strong? No matter how strong you are, it's useless. They won't fight you. They will poison, curse, and imprison your followers as hostages. They are much more despicable than you think.

"These are just the simplest little tricks. Even I am ashamed to say the despicable tricks of those smart people. If you really leave with this idea, then you can prepare the cemetery first."

After saying that, the old noble raised his hand:

"If you want to leave, then please do so."

Of course Caesar didn't lift his legs.

Despite what this old wolf said nicely, it seemed that everyone else was a barbarian and he was a civilized businessman.

But if he wants to leave before revealing his trump card, he will directly imprison them. Once he takes action, it will be difficult for him to say whether he can protect others.

I am not a magic master, and this magical power will not surrender under my feet like an obedient hound.

Caesar suddenly asked:

"Why has the guard strength been strengthened so much recently?"

Lame Wolf wrinkled his nose:

"A few big guys started moving, and it seemed like they wanted to stir up some big trouble together."

Lamb closed his eyes and was silent for a while:

"To be precise, among the seven Dukes, except for the weakest one, they all started to move. There were also two Marquises following them. One of them I know very well, he is a ruthless character.

"Not weaker than me."

Caesar knew that when Lame Wolf said this, it proved that that person must be stronger than him.

This is a big deal.

Lame Wolf asked:

"Let's talk about the price. You may not know clearly. The reason why I can still survive after irritating Wolf is not because of the help of those weaklings."

The silver hair instantly turned into gray hair, and the old gentleman revealed the sharp teeth in his mouth:

"It's because I have reached the threshold of legend."

The werewolf said so.

Caesar stood up.

Blood-red lines spread rapidly across his body, covering his small body in an instant.

"I know, Lamb, I've always known it."

The canine characteristics disappeared from Lamb's body in an instant.

He felt mortally threatened.

Even though he was only one step away from becoming a legend, he felt such a bad feeling in a boy.

Obviously the magic power of a witch cannot be passed down through blood. Has she made breakthrough research in this area?

Or some kind of one-time magic prop.

The old wolf smiled politely and said:

"We can discuss the price later, kids, don't be so impulsive."

Caesar said:

"The price is easy to talk about. In fact, we have something that will definitely satisfy you."

Hal handed over the badge.

The old wolf picked up the badge, and after just looking at it for a moment, he showed a horrified expression.

"Where did you get it? Use this in exchange for a passage? Deal!"

Ha La said with some dissatisfaction:

"No change!"

Lamb looked at Caesar suspiciously.

Caesar said:

"The owner of the badge gave it to the Highness next to me."

The old wolf's pupils shrank.

Then he stood up and bowed politely to Ha La:

"I didn't know it was Her Royal Highness the Princess who came here, but it was a long way to greet her."
