165. Crazy Tramp
Eulalia knocked on Hevin's door.
Hewen was really not a likable guy, but for the time being, she had to cooperate with Hewen to achieve her goals.
Getting close to Veronica is an extremely difficult thing. Not only is there a huge psychological barrier blocking her, but there is also a dividing line from reality.
Before Veronica came of age, no one had even heard of her name.
Although the Gawain family is the descendant of the Knight of the Sun, the impression given to people is exactly the opposite of that of the Sun.
Gloomy and silent, this is the characteristic displayed by the members of the Gawain family.
They did not often have unnecessary interactions with other families. Although Prince Gawain and his wife often attended various events, they did not blend in at all, just like two basalt statues standing in the corner of the banquet.
She had met Prince Gawain at brother Veronica's birthday party. He was a middle-aged man with a hooked nose and a gloomy face. When the young Eulalia saw the prince, she was completely frightened for a moment.
To the point of being unable to move.
Men have a dangerous temperament that can make children cry. She has imagined more than once how Prince Gawain would get along with Veronica.
Of course, she never thought that Prince Gawain might not get along with Veronica at all.
It was extremely difficult for her to get close to Veronica. She also plucked up the courage to talk to Veronica, but the cold eyes and emotionless voice under the black veil forced her to avoid him in a hurry.
She retreated and even permanently destroyed her courage to take the initiative to approach Veronica.
Without Hevin's help, Eulalia would not even dare to take any practical action.
Snap.
Hevin opened the door. Hala was not at home today.
Eulalia once again walked into Hevendrenger's home alone. She felt disgusted to be in the same room with a man she didn't like. This feeling was not only caused by Hewen, but more because she didn't like it.
Often acts alone.
In the past, she would be surrounded by family servants, but after coming to the university, they were replaced by members of the student association. Once she leaves Allen University, she must be accompanied by several professional protection personnel.
But now she was unprepared and didn't talk to anyone about coming here. She entered this dangerous place alone, which made Eulalia feel a little uncomfortable and panicked.
Professor Hewen entertained her warmly, but Eulalia did not relax her guard at all. Reason told her that this was a man that even the perfect Veronica would hate, and that his personality must have great flaws.
All worshipers firmly believe that if there is truth in the world, then one of the truths must be:
Veronica can make no mistakes.
In a daze, Eulalia's eyes were attracted by two strange-shaped objects on the table. They were placed randomly. It was obvious that the owner of this room was playing with them not long ago.
The two objects are a golden pocket watch and a silver wolf-shaped statue.
The former seems to be a modern product, and it probably cannot be more than ten years ago when it was made. However, the pattern imprinted on its back seems to extend the history of pocket watches indefinitely, to the era before humans.
She looked at the wolf-shaped statue again, and saw that it seemed to be roaring towards the sky, trying to tear something apart.
It wants to destroy and devour everything. It is a crazy giant wolf.
Eulalia was stunned, why did she think that the sculpture depicted a giant wolf? Obviously, such a small and independent statue can only show its strength through its muscles, but she seemed to see a huge beast that could cover the sky.
This is what the sculptor wanted to convey, but Eulalia couldn't understand how he managed to create a sense of hugeness without using contrasting objects.
Eulalia looked at Hevin carefully. Although she didn't like this man, she had to admit that he was quite handsome. Even Eulalia did not dare to claim to be more masculinely attractive than Hevin.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Before the two of them even had time to talk properly, there was a violent banging sound at the door.
Hewen stood up:
"I gonna go see."
Who would come to this place specially at this time?
As soon as the door opened a crack, a male body slammed in through the crack.
The visitor's whole body was covered in mud, and he must have fallen down more than once. His disheveled hair, soaked back, and gasping voice indicated that he had just gone on a long and strenuous run.
The trembling legs, the uncontrollable fear and madness in his eyes, and the hidden hysteria in his voice all hinted that his spirit was on the verge of collapse and that he was about to fall into the abyss of the unconscious ocean at any time.
He struggled to stand up, but fell to the ground again. Finally, he tremblingly shouted to the empty place:
"Close the door! Close the door! Monster! Devil! Blasphemy! My Creator, King Arthur, what on earth did they do to those people?"
The man let out incoherent screams of terror and clung to the clothes at Hewen's thighs, as if an invisible monster was chasing him closely behind him and would rush into the solid door at any time.
Eulalia had already walked to Hevin's side and grabbed the long-handled umbrella stuck next to the clothes rack.
The frightened man who suddenly rushed in here made Eulalia slightly nervous. She once thought that this was Hevin who came here specially early and wanted to do something violent to her, but she let it go after he walked in because of such a panic.
A confused man cannot cause harm to anyone but himself.
It's hard to say whether he can remain mentally normal in the next life. Maybe this man will spend the rest of his life in a mental hospital.
Hewen opened the man's eyelids with his fingers and looked at his dull pupils. Hewen was not sure whether the man could see him.
"Who am I? Do you still remember who I am?" Hewen asked gently.
The man first shouted in surprise:
"Professor? Is it you, professor? I don't know, I can't see you. Is it God talking to me? Great God, please save me. I am willing to convert you and become a believer. Please remove those things from me.
Eliminate it from your mind, please forgive me for my sins, and forgive my dirty eyes."
The man screamed again, and then said a series of words of unknown meaning in a gloomy voice:
"Monsters are chasing me, ghosts, dead people, evil gods, dancing together, killing everything! Burn everything! Fire, fire, bring fire quickly, burn them all, don't let them escape that gloomy castle."
Hewen comforted:
"You're safe now, relax, relax."
Seeing Hevin so skillfully calming down this down-and-out lunatic, Eulalia suddenly felt that this man also had some merits.
But looking at Hewen's expression, he seemed to know this crazy homeless man.
Under Hewen's calm comfort over and over again, the crazy man finally calmed down a little.
He fumbled and held Hevin's hand:
"They want to kill the professor. Go and warn Professor Hewen and Kelly. Keep Kelly away from all this."
The next words made Eulalia instantly surrounded by anger and doubt.
"Veronica is about to take action. Let the professor escape quickly. Otherwise, he will be like everyone else." The man's eyes suddenly left two tears. "They, they can no longer be saved, that castle has eaten them all."
Man, he also ate half of my soul.
"Tonight at ten o'clock, the back door of the castle. Tonight at ten o'clock, at the back door of the castle. Tonight at ten o'clock, at the back door of the castle. Tonight at ten o'clock, at the back door of the castle."
In the end, the madman could only repeat this passage over and over again, and could no longer utter any logical words.
Hevin carefully placed him in the guest room and asked Eulalia to convey the madman's warning to Kelly.
Eulalia said:
"I can find someone to do the work for you, but I also have to go with you."
What the madman wants to say has become extremely clear, Veronica is planning to kill Hevin.
When she heard the madman's words, Eulalia's first reaction was that he was slandering, but then reason convinced her sensibility again, and she could only judge that the madman could not express the truth correctly, or what he saw was not the truth, maybe
Now Vidonika is in danger.
But she had to see the answer with her own eyes.
After Hevin and Eulalia left the house.
The man lying on the bed still couldn't free himself from the madness, but out of instinct, Skid White showed a weird smile.
