139. Fire!

The ferocious and strange giant wolf statue and miniature chains were sleeping peacefully in Hevin's pocket.

Hevin opened the office door.

"Professor Hevin! Are you here to talk to Professor Grimm?"

Iona appeared in front of the door holding a book.

Hevin gave way to the aisle:

"Yes, I am very interested in Professor Grim's research you mentioned before, and I came to him today to have a good talk."

Iona asked excitedly:

"How's it going? Are you ready to cooperate?"

Hevin replied:

"Not necessarily. We need to discuss it for a while. After all, I have only been in school for a short time and I need to learn many things slowly."

Of course he would not participate in any wolf research. This was originally an excuse used by Grim to get close to Hevin. Since both of them knew the identity of the other, they would naturally not engage in any meaningless research.

Iona sighed as she expected:

"Sure enough, a top scholar like Professor Hewen will not cooperate with Professor Grimm. I have obviously given him a hint, alas."

Hewen shook his head and smiled:

"Grim's academic level is also very good. If we can't work together, it's just because of time conflicts."

Iona's eyes lit up:

"Professor Grimm? Are you sure you didn't say the wrong name?"

She couldn't imagine that lazy man had abilities that even Hewen affirmed.

Hewen asked out of politeness:

"Are you here to see Professor Grimm?"

Iona slapped her forehead and remembered her purpose:

"Yes, I'm here to ask Professor Grim. I have an interesting question about animals."

Hewen asked:

"what is the problem?"

Iona said seriously:

"Why are cats so cute?"

Hewen said:

"Why do you have this problem?"

Iona said:

"Because dogs are our domesticated species, right? The habits and traits of cats may also have undergone subtle changes due to human factors, but the changes are much less than those of dogs, while lions and cheetahs, both of which are cats,

All are fatal threats to primitive humans. People who don’t like cats should be more likely to inherit their genes, but cats can make people feel cute. This is because cats have certain characteristics that are different from other cat species.

?"

Hewen nodded:

"This is indeed a good question. I believe Grimm will like it."

Fear and liking sometimes occur for the same reasons.

Iona waved her hand:

"Then I'll go ask Professor Grimm for advice. Goodbye Professor Hewen."

Hevin responded:

"goodbye."

After Hevin said goodbye to Iona, he walked back to his hut alone along the path.

At this moment, Ha La had not come back, so he walked directly back to his room, and when he passed the trash can, he took out the matching chain, crushed it, and threw it away.

Giant wolves should roam the world, not be locked on an island.

He walked to his desk and placed the silver statue on it.

The statue contained the power of ancient faith, but to him the remaining energy was as weak as a firefly, and there were many problems with the depiction of the giant wolf's appearance.

In other words, what they worship is not the giant beast named Fenrir, but a fragmented side of the giant beast.

This statue is a clumsy deconstruction of the God-Eating Wolf, but it is not just that. The person who created this branch of worship must have heard the story of Fenrir from somewhere. Fenrir's love for Fenrir is hidden in the twisted posture of the statue.

The yearning for freedom.

But sadness and pain really took up too much. According to Heven's guess, for a beast like Fenrir, during the days of being imprisoned, his more emotional emotion besides sadness should be full of anger.

But he didn't actually witness Fenrir being imprisoned, so he was just looking forward to it.

The statue was just an ordinary work of art. After he placed it on his desk, he stopped casting his gaze.

Click.

The door downstairs was opened, and there were two familiar footsteps.

Hevin left the bedroom and walked down the stairs.

"Haven." Halla shouted happily.

Hewen walked up to Ha La, rubbed her hair, and said warmly:

"What's wrong, Hala?"

The woman following Ha La whispered to Hevin:

"I need to talk to you about Ha La."

Hevin patted Ha La on the back:

"Sister Kelly and I have something to discuss."

Ha La tightened the cloth strap in her hand and said obediently:,

"OK."

Little Hola carried her small satchel and ran back to her bedroom lightly.

Kelly sat down and said seriously:

"I met a man today. He threatened little Hola very viciously and wanted to ask her about her relationship with you."

Hewen said two words calmly:

"who is it?"

Impact! Collision! Chaos!

Kelly lifts the veil behind the scenes.

She saw the same person a second time in a different behind-the-scenes image.

The man in front of me no longer has six arms, a suit, a tie, and leather shoes. He is synonymous with the social elite.

The only problem is that the thing inside the clothes is not a person.

The burning flames danced on the collar, and Kelly seemed to be able to see strange colors similar to the facial features on the "flame head", but she could not confirm whether this was her hallucination.

The blazing heat brought severe pain that was close to tearing flesh and blood. Kelly almost felt like she was about to be swallowed up by the flames that were very close at hand. The flames flowed through her body along her blood vessels, and the temperature sensing system throughout her body was on the verge of collapse.

Her body in the behind-the-scenes world was not feeling well either. One-third of her skin was charred and ulcerated, her flesh and blood began to melt, and her bones were gradually exposed.

Fire! Fire! Fire!

Her consciousness could only mechanically repeat the things she saw.

Hewen noticed her obvious weirdness and wondered what was going on.

The fire had already shown signs of fading, but before that, Kelly's body began to heal itself, her flesh and blood rapidly increased in value, and her skin grew again.

She got used to the temperature.

Kelly ended the brief eerie silence:

"Professor Hevin looks very angry."

Hewen said:

"A little bit, what did that person do?"

Kelly's eyes were fixed on Hewen's position, but he noticed something strange.

At this moment, the girl couldn't hear anything. The fire of the behind-the-scenes world penetrated and destroyed her eardrums. Fortunately, the image behind the scenes has a strong recovery ability, and it will return to normal in about ten seconds.

The reason why she stared closely at Hewen was also very simple. She needed to understand Hewen's meaning by reading lips.

The flames of the dimension behind the scenes suddenly shrank into the suit, and what remained in place was a blue head similar to Hevin's, a frost head exuding a harmless cold air.
