112. Postscript of Hunter (two in one)(2/2)
Maureen's eyes were red and she shouted with a cry:
"Isn't it? If my brother hadn't injured his arm trying to save him before, he must be a heroic knight now, and maybe he wouldn't have died today."
The girl looked at Hunter and choked up and said:
"Brother saved you, but you failed to save him."
Hunter lowered his head and said nothing.
He even hoped that Maureen would curse him severely, even if this could not reduce the guilt and grief in his heart at all.
He knew that he not only failed to save Tam, but maybe he also killed Tam himself.
Just like the others he killed.
Madame Rosa scolded her daughter loudly:
"That was your brother's decision. If he were still alive, he would never let you do that, cough, cough, cough."
After Maureen heard her mother's cough, she rushed forward with worry on her face:
"Mom, I won't say anything anymore. I won't say anything anymore. Please calm down."
Maureen clenched her fists and glanced at Hunter without saying anything.
Hunter opened his mouth, but nothing came out.
He walked out of the house silently and sat down on the stone steps at the door.
Serena sat quietly next to him.
The woman rested her head on Hunter's shoulder:
"This is not your fault. You have done your best just to survive. As long as there is a slight chance, you will risk your life to save him. I know you are such a person."
Hunter smiled bitterly:
"Maybe, but maybe I'm not."
Serena put her hands on Hunter's face, turned his head to look at her:
"I know you better than you do, you're a good guy, and you're a complete idiot."
Hunter asked:
"If I disappear one day, you can slowly forget about me."
Serena looked at him seriously:
"do you love me."
Hunter couldn't lie under these beautiful blue crystal eyes:
"like."
Serena said:
"That's okay, no matter where you go or what you do, I will wait for you or even follow you. You can never get rid of me.
"Our love lasts until death."
Hunter said:
"No, it's not that simple."
Serena said:
"Then tell me, don't you believe me?"
Hunter closed his eyes in pain:
"Maybe I killed Tam."
Serena turned her head and glanced first, making sure that the door was properly closed, then looked back at Hunter and lowered her voice and said:
"Do you know what you're talking about?"
Hunter shook his head and showed his teeth:
"No, I don't know. I just remember that we were killing each other that day. There were no enemies at all. It was all our own people who were killing each other."
Hunter smiled sadly:
"Yes, I know it very well. I actually remember everything. I killed Tam, before Tam killed me.
"When did I go crazy? Although I think it was after killing Tam, maybe I had already fallen into madness from the beginning, but I was unable to realize my madness. After all, in the eyes of outsiders, I
Maybe no different than anyone else."
Serena hugged Hunter's arm worriedly:
"Have you never said these words to anyone else?"
Hunter replied:
"I didn't tell anyone except you."
Serena grabbed her boyfriend's palm:
"No one can say that this is just your imagination and not true."
Click.
The door was opened.
Maureen stood at the door with a dark face.
Serena asked directly;
"When did you stand behind the door?"
Maureen originally wanted to apologize for her impulsiveness, but she didn't expect to hear such horrific words:
"I heard it all."
Serena hurriedly explained:
"Hunter was just too tired and couldn't bear the blow and had mental problems."
Hunter stretched out his hand to stop his girlfriend's quibbling, raised his head, exposed his throat, closed his eyes, and said calmly:
"bring it on."
The girl walked up to him unceremoniously and stretched her hand to her throat.
Serena stretched out her hand to stop the girl, but Hunter blocked her.
The pain Hunter expected did not appear.
Maureen grabbed his collar:
"What do you want to do? Die? Escape?"
The Hunter opened his eyes blankly:
"Won't you kill me?"
Maureen punched Hunter in the face, giving him a black eye:
"Are you planning to run away before the murderer of my brother is found?"
The movements of the girl's hands were firm, but her voice kept trembling:
"Don't you plan to avenge him? Are you going to betray his trust? Ah! Let me ask you?"
By the end, the girl was almost screaming.
The girl let go of her hand:
"I want revenge. For my brother, I want..." The girl's voice trembled more and more intensely, with sobs swirling in her throat.
Hunter hugged Maureen and patted her shoulder gently:
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
Maureen finally burst into tears uncontrollably, her tears rushing out like a waterfall.
"Woo woo woo, brother, brother, he..."
Hunter hugged Maureen tightly and comforted:
"I will find the murderer and I will take revenge."
The girl kept sobbing and couldn't say a word.
Hunter has never been more determined:
