Chapter 47: Lu Wei's Piano Dream

Lu Wei walked casually at school and slowly came to the music floor. A mess of piano sounds came from his ears (hundreds of pianos were playing together, and any music sounded messy).

Lu Wei smiled and thought to himself: This place he had come the most in his previous life. Unexpectedly, he still couldn't change the habit after being reborn. He could get here even if he could walk around. Lu Wei also missed the days of practicing piano. Looking at the glass door of the half-open music building, Lu Wei slowly walked in.

As soon as he walked into the music building, the sound of the piano became more lively. Lu Wei listened carefully and played everything. On Sundays, students who liked music are generally more popular. Most of them were playing music books. Most of them were playing music from piano books to and from next week. Many people were practicing Richard Clayderman's music, such as "To Alice", "Memories of Childhood", "Wedding in Dreams", "Adelina by the Water". Richard's music was particularly popular among students. It is not difficult to play the piano, and the melody is not beautiful. But this "difficult" is for people with a certain piano foundation. Basically, if you reach the level of level 4 or 5 of the piano, you can play most of Richard's music, but if you don't have any foundation at all, it is very difficult to play. Lu Wei remembered that when he first practiced "Wedding in Dreams", he played for two months. You should know that it was just a relatively simple song.

Lu Wei was walking in the corridor of the music building, wanting to find a piano to get familiar with it. Since the old ghost of Wuchang passed on some of the abilities of the famous world pianist "William Kempff", Lu Wei has not had the chance to experience it on the piano in person. When he thought of the name William Kempff, Lu Wei, who likes piano, felt excited.

There is a reason why Lu Wei likes this piano player so much. Among all piano works from ancient times, China and abroad, Lu Wei has the most special love for the works of the music master Beethoven. When people mention Beethoven, they often only know the famous fifth symphony he wrote, "Fate", but Lu Wei has always believed that Beethoven's greatest musical achievements in his life, or the soul of Beethoven's music, are all in his piano sonata. "Moonlight", "Pathith", "Enthusias", "Storm", "Dawn"... These famous steel

Lu Wei has heard of the piano sonata countless times in his previous life and tried countless times to play even the simplest song. Even with Lu Wei's ninth-level piano level, he still couldn't do anything to interpret such a master's work. There is no way, the technical and artistic things required by these songs are too high. Otherwise, Beethoven's thirty-two piano sonatas would not be called the "New Testament" in the entire history of piano music (the Old Testament is Bach's "The Collection of Twelve Equal Piano Music").

William Kempf (1895-1991) German pianist, organist and composer. Born on November 25, 1895 in a music family in Jüterbog, East Prussia, his father was the director of the Royal Music and the organist of the St. Nicholas Church in Potsdam. He was also the captain of the Potsdam Palace Band. When Kempf was young, he was inspired to hear the Scottish pianist Frederick Lamond playing Beethoven and began to learn piano. He was young by his father.

Enlightenment to learn piano. At the age of 9, he entered the Berlin Higher Music School and studied composition with Robert Kahn (Kan had studied under Brahms). In 1914, he went to the Victoria Preparatory School in Potsdam, and then returned to the Berlin Higher Music School to study music history and philosophy. He studied piano and composition according to Barto and Kahn respectively. In 1916, he played piano and organ at the same time in his first performance. In 1917, he won the Mendelssohn Piano and Composition Award from Berlin for his piano performance and composition.

In 1918, his first performance with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra was performed around the world before World War II, covering Europe, South America and Japan. After the war, he performed in London in 1951 and New York in 1964. In the last few years of his playing career, his repertoire was mostly focused on German classical and romantic works, and was considered to be a representative figure of contemporary German pianists, explaining the authoritative works of Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann and Brahms. In addition to solo, Kempff also participated in chamber music performances, often with

Menuin, Xie Lin and Rostropovich and others collaborated on teaching and creation. From 1931 to 1941, he served as a professor in the summer senior class in Potsdam with Edwin Fischer and others. After the war, he also hosted lectures on Beethoven's piano works. Many outstanding pianists of his generation received his guidance, including the outstanding pianist Uchida. On May 23, 1991, Kempff died in Positano, Italy.

Lu Wei has heard many versions of the Sonata of "Moonlight". The version played by William Kempff is the most recognized version of Lu Wei. It is the real, pure Beethoven's voice. After fifteen minutes of performance, Lu Wei is fascinated every time (if any book lovers like to listen to piano music, you can search for the name William Kempff in Baidu videos. Listening to his moonlight is definitely a master's enjoyment). When he thought that he could reach such a height and play Beethoven's works as he pleased, Lu Wei felt anxious.

But what made Lu Wei depressed was that he didn't even have the key to a piano room. The only things he had in his class were only some organ rooms.

But these are not difficult for Lu Wei. When he saw that there was no one in the small piano room, he pushed the door gently. This was something Lu Wei often did in his previous life. Often, some senior brothers and sisters forgot to close the door after practicing the piano, so Lu Wei could go in and play it happily.

Lu Wei was not very lucky today. There were only a few piano rooms on the first and second floors that were empty. It seemed that Richard's music was really attractive to everyone. Lu Wei heard that most of the piano rooms were playing intermittent "To Alice", which was also the most well-known song played by Richard. But in fact, this song was also written by Beethoven, and it was a piano sketch.

As soon as Lu Wei arrived at the third floor, he heard the sound of "Turkish Sonata". Lu Wei walked over and saw that the door of a piano room was open, and several girls were surrounding a boy playing the piano, making waves of praise from time to time.

The boy was Zhao Jie from the vocal group, and the girls next to him were also from their class. Lu Wei knew that Zhao Jie and Teacher Gao had a good relationship, so he probably borrowed the keys from the piano room from the teacher.

Zhao Jie repeatedly played the first and second themes of "Turkish Sonata". Although Mozart's work is called "Turkish March", people who are familiar with Turkish musical style know that the Turkish style of this song is not strong. The music started with the first theme in A minor, with the tune light and lively and the rhythm is elastic; then the second theme appears; then the first theme is repeated and the first music section ends. Zhao Jie plays these two parts now. Lu Wei knows that Zhao Jie is looking for a score from Zhang Shuang. This guy often likes to play some more difficult songs to show off his piano level. In fact, based on Lu Wei's current appreciation level, Zhao Jie plays very simply and badly.

Mozart is a representative of the classical music school because he was in an early era. The piano used in the Mozart era was not the current piano in the full sense, but the harpsichord, which is the predecessor of the piano. The sound of the harpsichord is not as gorgeous and loud as that of the modern piano, and the change in the intensity of the sound is small. In addition, Mozart himself is also a court musician, which determines that playing Mozart's works must be light and agile, and each note must be very uniform, with strong graininess, and the change in strength cannot be too large.

Zhao Jie played very quickly. Although the speed barely reached the original speed of the song, the strength of each note was seriously uneven, and there were many dirty and misaligned sounds. In order to make up for these, Zhao Jie added a large number of pedals, which sounded very lively, but when he heard Lu Wei's ears were in chaos. He stood at the door and listened for a while, frowned, and couldn't stand it anymore, so he wanted to turn around and leave.

"Lu Wei, I haven't seen you for a long time. Why do you think of coming to the music building today? By the way, the period for your suspension next week should be up. Our vocal group has learned a lot of new songs, so you have to make up for it." Zhao Jie saw Lu Wei, stopped playing the piano, and greeted Lu Wei.

"Oh, hehe, I just go around casually to see if there is any idle piano room or something, so it is easy to practice piano." Lu Wei smiled.

"That's it, then you can practice from me for a while. This is the piano room I borrowed from Teacher Gao." Zhao Jie said enthusiastically.

"Oh, Zhao Jie, please play Turkey twice. I like it very much." said a girl next to her.

"Wait a moment, let Lu Wei practice first. He will have to go back to class next week. He probably haven't practiced this month, and now he can't find a piano room. Are you a little sympathetic? I'll play it for you later." Zhao Jie said with a smile, feeling secretly proud. Since Lu Wei sang the song "My Sun" at the freshman party, he felt very uncomfortable. At this moment, when Lu Wei came to the piano room, he insisted on letting Lu Wei play it. He looked very enthusiastic. In fact, he just wanted to see Lu Wei look ugly, especially when so many girls were watching. It must be very interesting to see Lu Wei playing the piano intermittently.

Lu Wei, who had two lifetimes of experience, didn't know what Zhao Jie was thinking. He wanted to tease him and said, "Okay, I'm not polite. If you have any questions later, you have to teach me more." As he said that, he walked towards the zither bench, and Zhao Jie hurriedly made way for him.
