195. Premarital examination(2/3)

"Let's just say, is it possible to drive slower and still go fast?"

The faces of the people next to me turned pale.

"Shut up!"

Xu Haoyu's face was full of murderous looks.

Ever since he received that phone call just now, his whole body and mind were in a state of confusion.

He has been chasing Liu Ruying for half a year, but the other party has not even given him a good look.

But today I actually had dinner with a boy I met once!

With a dark face, he continued to press the accelerator down, and the face of the boy next to him became paler and paler as the pointer on the dial tilted.

The vehicle entered the two-lane road and suddenly stopped with a sudden "squeak".

"Grass!"

Xu Haoyu smacked the direction sign, pointed ahead and said, "Damn, what kind of traffic jam is this?"

He turned the steering wheel, and suddenly, a Chevrolet drove over and stopped right next to him.

"Give!" Xu Haoyu's voice sounded together with the trumpet, and the veins on his neck popped out.

There is a two-lane road here, separated by a guardrail, with cars in front and behind, and a long queue on the right.

Got stuck here.

"Young Master Xu, do you want me to get out of the car and take a look?" asked the boy next to him.

Xu Haoyu nodded with a dark face. The man got out of the car and came back after a while.

"Young Master Xu, there was a car accident ahead," he said. "Several cars rear-ended each other. Where are they parked?"

"How far?" Xu Haoyu asked.

"I don't know, maybe a few hundred meters," the man said. "I heard from other drivers that it's too far to see."

Xu Haoyu covered his head.

I really want to have an attack, but it's useless.

After holding it in for a long time, he finally stuck his head out of the window and tore his throat with disturbingly high decibels:

"If there's a car accident, why don't you go to the side to deal with it! It won't affect public transportation, you know?"

A large truck roared past in the opposite direction, lifting up his hair and billowing in the wind, revealing a pimple on his forehead.

In the dark cubicle of the bathroom, Chen Ya and Liu Ruying were still facing each other.

"The person who originally planned to marry the Lu family should be my uncle's daughter, Liu Ruyan." Liu Ruying combed her temples, "My uncle has a rich family and was a prominent figure in the business world when he was young. The only regret is that

Only one daughter."

"Unfortunately, misfortunes never come singly. This daughter went out to pursue her dreams, fell in love with a big shot, and severed the father-daughter relationship with her uncle."

"As a result, all the wealth of the uncle's family has been lost. His biggest worry is that after a hundred years, the property he finally accumulated will fall into the hands of others."

"So, he is in a hurry."

Chen Ya interrupted her and said: "There is no such thing as severing ties in this world. Even if we verbally agree to sever ties, the inheritance rights will not change."

Liu Ruying smiled disdainfully and said: "That's true, but the thinking of these wealthy families is far more traditional than you think. My uncle wants his family wealth to be kept in the hands of the Liu family, not in the hands of people with other surnames.

Can you understand this?"

Chen Ya took a deep breath and nodded: "I understand."

He asked again: "So, your uncle originally planned to recruit Chen Hai as his wife?"

"Yes." Liu Ruying said, "You may not know that someone like Chen Hai, who comes from a rural area and has a wealthy background, is very popular in a sense."

"Being from a rural area means that you have no foundation, and having a wealthy background means that you are worldly and sophisticated. You are the best candidate for your son-in-law."

"According to the original gap between the two families, if the uncle recruits Chen Hai as his wife, the family wealth will not be transferred to someone with a foreign surname, and Chen Hai can be a rich man for the rest of his life. It was originally a win-win situation. Unfortunately, Liu Ruyan ran away."

Chen Ya wanted to laugh.

But he endured it.

"What should we do?" He pretended to frown and think about them.

"So, after Liu Ruyan ran away, they adopted me as their stepdaughter," Liu Ruying said with a smile on her lips, "I will take care of them on their behalf."

"Isn't that..." Chen Ya took a deep breath cooperatively and widened his eyes.

"Yes, our agreement is that as long as I can complete the task of marrying with the Liu family and successfully recruit a wife, the inheritance will belong to me."

Liu Ruying crossed her arms, placed the back of her hands on her smooth jade chin, and raised a smile at the corner of her mouth.

Chen Ya understood.

Everything is understood.

No wonder that after Chen Hai became rich, he no longer wanted to fulfill his engagement with the Liu family.

After all, no one with any dignity would want to be a son-in-law.

No wonder Liu Ruying remained indifferent even though she suffered a huge humiliation from the perspective of others, such as "Li Dai Tao Jian".

It turned out to be because she had a large inheritance to take.

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! No wonder she wants not to reveal the inside story herself, and insists on consummating the marriage under such circumstances.

It turned out to be because she had this kind of deal behind her back.

The most important thing is... No wonder Liu's father cares so much about his daughter, but has no care at all for her daughter's psychology.

When his daughter revealed that she wanted to run away from home, what he was most concerned about was not why her daughter committed suicide, but why she had to go against her will.

Maybe from his perspective, Liu Ruyan had no personality of his own, and was just a prop from beginning to end.

A prop used to pass on the family line and continue the glory of the Liu family.

He only hated that this prop was not easy to use, and he only hated that she was not a boy.

Everything is clear.

Chen Ya smiled.

sneer.

"No wonder your uncle was so interested in Liu Ruyan before. When he disappeared, he almost dug into the ground to look for him. When he saw him, he begged for him to come back, just like a feudal lord. It turns out.

, he is just a feudal patriarch."

Liu Ruying frowned and looked at him: "How do you know?"

"Oh, wasn't the matter between Liu Ruyan and the mysterious writer exposed on the Internet before? I know a little bit about it."

"Humph, you do surf the Internet a lot." Liu Ruying sneered.

She went on to say: "This is a gamble, a big gamble. I bet on my youth. If I win, I will live a life without worries about food and clothing. If I lose, I will gain nothing."

With a sneer on her face, she said:

"They looked at me with strange eyes, thinking that I was just a fool who didn't know the danger behind this, but they didn't know how to calculate. In my opinion, this gamble has a great chance of winning."

Chen Ya tilted his head: "Why?"

"Do you know what kind of person the writer Liu Ruyan is obsessed with is?" Liu Ruying sneered, "If you can win four Nobel Prizes for Literature, will you care about your uncle's wealth? If Liu Ruyan can be with

If he gets married, is it possible that he will come back and fight with me?"

After saying that, she turned her head and stared at Chen Ya: "You know what? Just talk."

"Yeah, I know."

"I feel like you are very dull," Liu Ruying frowned, "I mean, as long as you marry me honestly, you will be out of that ravine forever, and you can lie down and enjoy happiness for the rest of your life, you know.

?"

"Yeah, I understand."

Liu Ruying shook her hair, looking proud.

"But," Chen Ya suppressed his laughter and asked, "If we get married, wouldn't I become the one who stepped in on someone else's door? In our rural areas, it's very shameful to have someone in front of someone else's door."

Liu Ruying's expression became impatient.

She looked Chen Ya up and down with cold eyes, folded her arms, squinted and said:

"Don't you look down on me a little?"

"Ah? How could that happen? How could I have that intention?" Chen Ya said exaggeratedly.

Liu Ruying's tone was cold: "Do you think that because I am just a substitute for the real master, you think that my status is humble?"

"I definitely didn't mean that."

"Although my family's conditions are not as good as those of my uncle, I am also from a well-known family. Not to mention one, ten of you are more than enough to intrude on the door," she said. "You have to know that a person like you, if it weren't for this accident, wouldn't even be here."
