1067.Better than excellent(1/2)

After returning from the break, the Hawks sent out a lineup of Liu Mang, Jason Terry, Korver, Josh Smith, and Kwame Brown.

The SuperSonics fielded a lineup of Francis, Ray Allen, Lewis, Reggie Evans, and Nick Collison.

The Sonics go first.

After Liu Mang went up, he followed Ray Allen and continued running.

Jason Terry wants to curse, why is he guarding Francis!

Although the height is not much different, the strength is also very different!

Jason Terry pressed forward and was driven to the basket by Francis.

However, Josh Smith immediately let go of Reggie Evans and caught Francis on the baseline.

If the Sonics want to ensure rebounds, the offense under the basket will be severely affected. Liu Mang took advantage of this shortcoming in the Sonics lineup and asked Jason Terry to guard Francis, and Josh Smith could quickly block it.

Already.

Francis was forced to stop by a fierce attack from the basket!

Ray Allen hurried to the baseline to respond. Liu Mang got close to Ray Allen who received the ball. Ray Allen withdrew from the three-point line, came to the bottom corner, and made a strong shot from the corner against Liu Mang's defense...

Hit!

Ray Allen hits his second three-pointer of the game!

33 square meters!

The SuperSonics continued to hold on to the score.

All singles are in!

Liu Mang was helpless. The opponent had a three-point ability that was not weaker than his.

In transition, the Eagles attack.

Liu Mang received the serve and advanced quickly. The entire Hawks team pressed forward. After rushing outside the three-point line, Josh Smith came up to block Ray Allen.

Liu Mang triggered level 5 of the pick-and-roll master, his speed soared past 100, and he broke through from the right!

At the same time, Josh Smith immediately broke through from the left after blocking the opponent.

Both of them cut in very fast. Ray Allen, Reggie Evans and Francis who were flanking were all attracted. Liu Mang passed the ball to Korver in the right corner, and Korver took the ball.

The ball shot a three-pointer...and hit it!

36 to 33, the Eagles once again led by three points.

The Eagles attack very quickly, trying to speed up the attack as much as possible. However, when the Sonics attack, the rhythm slows down again. The Sonics still stay in position and attack. This is the style of play they are good at. They will definitely be beaten by the Eagles when running.

The team would run to death, they were sure of it.

When the Sonics were on offense, Liu Mang defended against Ray Allen even more fiercely this time, going crazy around to prevent Ray Allen from catching the ball.

Ray Allen encountered Liu Mang's aggressive defense and chose to open up the space. Francis passed the ball to Nick Collison, who pulled out, and Nick Collison passed the ball to Lewis.

Lewis took a step outside the free throw line to catch the ball. There was not much time left. He faced Korver's long two-pointer and shot directly!

Lewis is average with the ball, has no breakthrough ability, and is about the same height as Korver.

But the shooting is really accurate!

Lewis also hit a long two-point shot!

It's the Eagles' offense again. Jason Terry wants the ball for a single. Facing Francis' defense, Jason Terry gets the space easily. However, the opponent's defense is too poor. Jason Terry rushes into the mid-range space.

The shot failed...

Fortunately, Josh Smith knocked the ball out, Liu Mang grabbed the ball, and made a one-step throw from inside the free throw line.

Still leading by 3 points!

The Eagles are so solid!

The main reason is that the Sonics' defensive rebounding is too poor. Their two inside players are good at rushing, but their blocking ability is very poor. They rely on bullet speed to make a living. Compared with a big center like Kwame Brown who weighs almost 120 kilograms.

Compared to that, being stuck in position to grab rebounds is too much of a disadvantage.

Finally, the Sonics' first strike in the second quarter came when Lewis missed a three-pointer after Francis broke through and scored!

The goal of Josh Smith and Kwame Brown this time is not to grab rebounds, but to get crazy positions!

Kwame Brown and Nick Collison were fighting hand-to-hand, and Josh Smith and Reggie Evans were fighting hand-to-hand. Both of them were fighting each other with the mentality that no one could get rebounds. Their moves were so big that the referee was stunned.

I wanted to call a foul, but the Sonics' two inside moves were also very big, so it was even.

Liu Mang had already rushed back to the basket when Lewis took action. The first was to quickly receive the serve and advance, and the second was to grab the rebound so that the opponent would not score!

Liu Mang was one step ahead of Francis, collected the rebound, and counterattacked again!

The cavalry company moves out!

Francis came up to stop Liu Mang, but Liu Mang swatted the ball forward to the left, leaving Francis behind, triggering Level 5 on his own!

Liu Mang ran faster and faster. Every time he passed an opponent, his speed became faster. Ray Allen and Lewis, who were the first to retreat quickly, were attracted by Liu Mang. Both of them received the basket and followed.

Francis also moved inside, preparing to chase the goal.

Liu Mang went deep into the basket, and after confirming that he was flanked by three people, he passed the ball back to the top arc. Jason Terry, who followed up, caught the ball and shot a three-pointer...

In!

41 to 35! The score difference came to 6 points!

It’s so slutty!

Liu Mang, Jason Terry, Korver, the Hawks' three best three-pointers, came against the two three-pointers Ray Allen and Lewis, and they had the upper hand!

Slowly, the point difference was widened bit by bit by the Eagles.

The Sonics played quite well offensively, with a three-point shooting rate of over 40%. However, in the second quarter, the offensive rebounding got worse. Liu Mang specifically targeted the opponent's two big men to grab offensive rebounds.

Awesome, let Kwame Brown and Josh Smith focus on blocking the opponent, while he grabs the rebound himself.

Liu Mang was once the second-best rebounding player on the Hawks. Last season, Liu Mang averaged more rebounds per game than Francis, who ranked third in rebounding on the Sonics. He was not as good at offensive rebounds as Francis, but defensive rebounds.

The ball needs to be protected better.

The Sonics have lost the guarantee of offensive rebounds. Although their shooting efficiency has not declined much, the number of shots taken has decreased!

This is fatal for the Sonics!

The Hawks started a wild style of play. Jason Terry and Korver immediately shot after receiving the ball. Liu Mang scored when he had a chance to break through. The opponent would not give him a good three-pointer.

When given the opportunity, he chose to be more stable and break through to attract double-teams. If the double-teams were tight, he would pass the ball. If the double-teams were slower, he would rush to the basket and use his footsteps to score.

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! The Sonics played very well, but they were still slowly widened by the Eagles.

At the end of the first half, the Eagles were 65 to 57, leading by 8 points heading into the halftime break!

The Sonics' offensive efficiency in the second quarter was still very high. They made a total of 11 of 21 shots and 3 of 7 three-pointers, scoring 27 points. However, there was a big gap compared to the first quarter because they were more efficient in the second quarter.

.

The main reason is that there is no second offensive opportunity. The Sonics had 5 offensive rebounds in the first quarter and only 1 in the second quarter!

Jason Terry scored 13 points on 5 of 9 shots in the second quarter, and Korver scored 9 points on 3 of 7 shots in the second quarter. They both played the entire quarter. Although they could not defend their opponents, they were able to keep up with them.

He followed very closely and did not give the opponent a chance to shoot directly and easily. At least it gave him a little interference.

Liu Mang had 6 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in the second quarter. His single-quarter data exploded!

After halftime, Liu Mang had 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists!

The Eagles' strategy gradually worked. The Eagles continued to score more than 30 points per quarter, and gradually widened the point difference without a significant increase in efficiency.

When making tactical arrangements at halftime, coach Kruger chose to continue the tactics in the second quarter.

However, it was also strengthened based on the defensive strategy Liu Mang thought of.

After the break, Coach Kruger replaced Liu Mang, Tracy McGrady, Iguodala, Josh Smith, and Rasheed Wallace.

The SuperSonics continue to use the outside trio of Francis, Ray Allen, and Lewis, as well as Reggie Evans and Nick Collison.

The Sonics fought hard!

The Sonics attacked first. After Francis advanced to the frontcourt, he found that the person guarding him was the second-year No. 6 pick.

Iguodala is the best candidate to defend Francis. Francis did not choose to break through because the opponent's outside athletic ability is too strong.

Francis looked for a pick-and-roll, and McGrady and Iguodala quickly switched defenses. As soon as Francis finished the pick-and-roll, he found McGrady in front of him...

Francis looked at Ray Allen's side, and Liu Mang was sticking him to him, so Francis could only keep his head down and kill inside!

Francis rushed to the inside with McGrady's defense, and forcefully bumped into McGrady and Rasheed Wallace, who was assisting in defense. He earned a foul with his life and was knocked to the ground by Rasheed Wallace.

The referee's whistle blew, a shooting foul occurred, and Francis got two free throws.

Francis went to the free throw line and made one of two free throws, but was hit too hard and the free throw was affected.

Originally, Liu Mang thought that with Rasheed Wallace on the court, he could have more counterattack tactics, but the opponent made the second free throw and fell into a positional battle again.
