Chapter 6 The Sages Dinner(2/2)

It seems that Ms. Cleary has paid the electricity bill, and Rose Public Relations has finally restored the power supply.

"Oh? Livar has been here?"

There are saints in [Capital of Saints], and unlike the angels in [City of Blazing Sky], saints are always in [Capital of Saints].

But the city lord of [Saint City] is not a saint, but the highest-level petitioner, Mr. Durand, who may soon become a [Saint].

"Durand is also invited to tonight's dinner..."

In front of the door of the saint's residence, Mr. Ludick, the campus president of [Free City College], got out of the car with some sadness.

Mr. Ludick waited until Mr. Durand, the city lord, entered the door before getting out of the car, in order to avoid meeting Mr. Durand directly.

Mr. Ludick told his personal secretary Livar this about this: The holy light on Durand's body was so bright that if he didn't pay attention, it would blind his titanium alloy eyes, making him unable to look directly.

Mr. Livar pretended that he had not heard the words of the principal. Holding the white rose in his hand, he slowly followed Ludik and entered the door of the saint's residence.

"Isn't this Mr. Ludick? It's such an honor to meet Mr. Ludick here. Tonight is really a night worthy of joy."

As soon as he entered the door, Mr. Ludick heard a voice with a smile that seemed to make people feel refreshed.

"If I had known better, I would have gone in first..." Mr. Ludick muttered, then put on a warm smile, "Yeah, it's such a joyful night, I'm even afraid that I won't be able to sleep tonight.

Sleeping."

"Lord Ludick always likes to joke." Mr. Durand responded with a slight smile.

He looks kind-hearted, and the first feeling he feels when looking at him is that he is a good person, and the second feeling is that he is still a good person... It seems that he is a good person who just has "I am a good person" written on his face.

Mr. Durand immediately said: "I heard that the Qidu Exchange was in shock, and the stock price of [Free City College] was also affected. But judging from Mr. Ludick's appearance, I think the impact will not be big, so I'm relieved."

"It's just a normal technical adjustment." Ludick said calmly: "Thank you, Lord Durand, for your concern."

"That's good, that's good." Mr. Durand glanced at Livar behind Ludik, and nodded in greeting, "It's getting late, let's go in, so that the saint won't wait too long."

In front of the saint's residence, more and more people gradually came... They were all the most prestigious people in the [City of Saints].

There are senior officials from the Public Security Department, big businessmen in the city, council members in the city, and a few scholars who have no important responsibilities but are well known and respected by everyone.

The woman sat in front of the dressing table, and the maids on both sides were carefully dressing the girl.

"Sage, the guests have all arrived one after another." A maid walked in with her head lowered, came behind the girl, and stood outside the curtain in front of the dressing table.

"Yes, I understand." The woman's voice came out, and then she asked casually: "Mr. Ludick is here too."

"Here we come." The maid said quickly: "I saw Lord Ludick and Lord Durand coming in together. Not only that, Lord Ludick also sent you a bouquet of white roses, saying they were picked at the mansion.

I hope the saint likes it."

"Ha... this guy really has a lot on his mind." The woman nodded, waved her hand and said, "I'll give you that flower... Get ready, I'm going to meet the guests."
