Chapter 7 Dream (Part 1)
The shining light became more and more intense, and together with the surrounding temperature, it reached a burning level in just a few seconds.
In an instant, Dake heard the roar of ancient war horses, the whistle of steam ships, and the rapid "drip" sounds that he had never heard before.
At the same time, the hot temperature made him unable to maintain a deep sleep anymore. After his patience reached the extreme, he finally mobilized all his limbs and sat up suddenly.
"Where is this?" Dake said in shock in the surrounding environment, his mouth wide open and turned into an "O" shape.
The surrounding space is no longer a dark underground dormitory, but has become a terrifying red.
The violent, unscrupulous wind is mixed with hot heat waves, which is very different from the cold airflow in Binglin City.
Gasing heavily, Dark forced himself to suppress the tremors of his whole body, sat up from the dry, staple land and looked around.
The red sun hangs over the orange sky curtain like the scarlet eyes of the devil. The dry trees on the exposed riverbed symbolize that this is the place where death comes.
Looking out, the end of the field of view was not the mountains or the sky, but a thick fog intertwined with white and scarlet red, like blood dispersed.
After staring for a few seconds, there seemed to be a huge smog of smoke and dust rushing towards the direction he was standing like a herd of nomad horses.
After barely calming down, Dark listened carefully and it seemed that there were cavalry rushing over there. He even heard the sound of metal weapons colliding violently.
As the thunder descended from the sky, cutting through the red sky and breaking through the withered wood, the raging fire instantly emerged from the dryness and spread rapidly to all directions.
"Flame? The red sky, the dry land, the rushing battle, the pervading flames. Is it said here..."
Looking at the surrounding environment, Dark murmured in confusion.
Under the invasion of the fire and the sound of mania, the low voice of a male youth echoed in his ears:
“Plamini…”
“Plamini…”
"This is the realm of flames." Dark panted, widened his eyes, and guessed in disbelief.
Then, his brain seemed to pass through an electric current, instantly awakening an episode in his dusty memory.
Shaking his head hard to stay awake, bent down and tried his best to adapt to the trembling ground. A slight tiny blue flashed across Dak's eyes.
He reached his hand to his chest, groped, and pulled down a crescent-shaped white "gem" with force, passing through a few sunken parts. He locked his eyes on a core area in the center of it that emitted dazzling red light, like a mechanical heart like a "heartless person".
The "gem" is called "Silent Wolf Tooth". It comes from the Sunnese Empire in the south. As the name suggests, it is indeed made of wolf tooth.
Close your eyes, Dark silently recited the spell, trying his best to surging the water magic power in his body, trying to resonate with the flames in the "gem".
The subtle two-color light spread around Dak's body, and he felt the strong flames getting closer and closer, and he whispered:
"'Silent Wolf Tooth', I know you brought me here. I don't know if you sensed the call of God, but please take me out of danger and go to your true destination."
As soon as the words were finished, the magic power of ice blue and red colors gushed out from the "Silent Wolf Tooth", rushing straight to the "Red Eye Sun" like fireworks on Christmas Eve, leaving a gorgeous, brilliant, and gorgeous tail.
As the ice crystals and flames intertwined in the air, they collided with brilliant, rapidly eliminating water vapor. The endless thick fog tilted down like snow, wrapping him up and briefly robbing all his perceptions.
"Left, up and down, time, space."
"Left, up and down, time, space."
Like the ethereal sound from the realm of the dead, Dak's brain felt like a burst of pain. After several minutes, the mist surrounding it turned into blood, turned as dark as ghosts, and then turned into a confused white burn again. The sound gradually disappeared into the mystery.
After about a few minutes, it seemed that it had been a long period of time, as if the thick fog that enveloped the whole world gradually faded away and disappeared.
Rubbing the dry, swollen eyes, Dark barely showed his gray eyes and looked at the unfamiliar situation in front of him.
The "white" sun is high in the blue sky, and clouds like ghosts and demons sway in the middle. In front of him is a path made of red bricks and wood, leading to a field at the upper location.
Observing around, Dake judged with his rich geographical experience that he was probably in an unknown valley area, with the sound of surging waterfalls coming from time to time, the towering peaks not far away, the slightly dim areas, and the dense trees around him seemed to confirm this speculation.
Even if it wasn't a valley, Dark was very sure that it did not belong to any area controlled by the Cruzd Federation.
Around January, it was the coldest period in the Federation, and was known as the "Winter General" as early as the Second Era.
In Dak's impression, the climate here is either a coastal area of the western part of the Sunne Empire, such as the abandoned sand castle city, or a colony of the Putoya Federation in the central part of the "Filiga" continent, or a place like Oguchi Province and Nanjiang Province of the Yanhuo Empire. The climate is mild, comfortable, not hot, with lush plants and rivers traveling through the mountains, providing an extremely rich water source.
Dark knew that he must be in a very important but strange nightmare.
Even if it is a comfortable and intoxicating verdant situation, you may fall into an extraordinary and terrifying scene in a blink of an eye.
Moreover, observing the scenery cannot bring substantial effects to him leaving his dreams. The "Silent Wolf Tooth" has now completely lost its heat and brightness. The next "short" journey requires him to complete it alone.
Thinking of this, Dake smiled inadvertently, clenched his fists with both hands, and climbed up the red brick path quickly.
A few minutes later, dragging his tired body, Dark finally came to an end and climbed an altar with a completely different style from the one below.
This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content behind! The moment when Dak stepped onto the altar, the sky quickly faded and became dark clouds. Looking back, the path of sheep intestines had long been covered by countless dark branches, and had completely lost its trace.
The temperature around it dropped a lot. Although it was not as cold as Binglin City, it already felt a cold and cold feeling.
It seemed as if the forest just now was "above" from the sunlight, and the cold altar was "below" of the valley.
Fortunately, the edge of the towering altar is surrounded by a layer of rusty guardrails, so that it will not cause people to fall into the dark and confused area.
The iris engraved with golden lines on the ground reflects some golden brilliance, adding a touch of embellishment called "Hope" to the depressing atmosphere.
When looking at the center of the altar, for some reason, a mosaic-like area appeared in Dak's eyes.
When he concentrated his energy and perceived it hard, and resonated with the strange aura around him as much as possible, the mosaic gradually faded away and revealed its original true face.
It was a towering tree, with its branches and leaves that were extremely prosperous, surpassing all the plants recorded by humans. It was like the dense top of the cover that blocked most of the sunlight, which made it covered with a sense of treacherous and dullness.
The twisted roots of the towering tree are completely under the cement-poured ground, and the ground around the exposed trunks are regularly painted with a layer of hexagram patterns.
Looking along the thick black trunk, countless double-headed eagles with only bones were swaying each other on the branches, as if they were going to swallow each other in the dark silver shadows and achieve a precious evolution like a "heartless man".
It seems that this field cannot belong to the gods who are above and blessed with the "holy brilliance" and are enough to dispel all evil spirits and "sorrow", but they do not belong to the ancient gods. After all, they prefer gloomy, dark, and wet bottoms of deep seas.
Seeing this, Dake immediately wanted to suppress the restless water source magic power in his body.
Under the rules set by the Creator, the dark magic power above the water source power is the high and low levels of the same sequence and will resonate unpredictably in most cases.
He didn't know why he had entered here, nor did he know what the person behind the scenes summoned him would want. Therefore, he could only wait quietly, shaking his gray eyes carefully to examine the surroundings, waiting for him to appear.
Coincidentally, a crimson light shone behind the tree, and a mysterious man in a black cloak slowly walked out of it and came to a position facing Dark.
Just as he was about to ask about the identity of the visitor, Dark felt the strong pressure from the spiritual realm, as if in front of him was not a mysterious enough human being, but a terrible, abominable, vivid, inconceivable, indescribable, and indescribable evil spirit.
It seemed as if the cloak was uncovered, and it was not a humanoid creature inside, but a dirty, weird, deformed and disgusting crazy monster and ghostly body.
The heavy sense of depression made Dake look like stars and he was almost unstable. His body tried to induce him to fall into a coma and get rid of the terrifying aura. But the aura of the mysterious man in front of him was maintaining his sanity as much as possible, as if he had set a curse on him that would never sleep, making him continue to "accept" the terrifying existence like the "unintentional person".
After a while, the crisp voice of youth came out of the mysterious man's mouth, and the pressure he was subjected was quickly lifted, and everything in the spiritual realm returned to normal:
"This is the 'Grey Dream', a strange friend, I received the instructions from 'Plamini' during my long sleep to call you here."
"Grey... Dream?" Dark was a little confused, then smiled slightly and said:
"What an ancient and strange word, mysterious friend, you are making me recall a painful and unbearable past. I cherish the hard-won life that is approaching human beings now, even in such a cruel world, in the wasteland era of hope."
"Indeed, I have prayed countless times to enter the foggy realm, looking for traces of 'Plamini'. But you give me the feeling that is opposite to the gods, and the feeling of depression and pain lingers around your body, and the rich 'sorrow' also permeates it. I do not want to return to the dark and dull realm of the dead. If the price of touching the 'Lord of Eternal Red' is to escape into the endless night, then I would rather not touch any 'Plamini'."
"It seems that you are the same as me." The mysterious man in black robe sneered:
"But I am not as desperate as you are about human beings and the world. Countless brilliant flames will be born in the civilization of reincarnation. Even if I encounter long nights occasionally, sporadic fireworks will save us who are on the verge of despair. What's so scary about darkness? On the contrary, only it will give birth to light."
"Okay, I don't want to talk about irrelevant philosophical topics here. Your and my time is by no means eternal. During this short encounter, I would like to ask you to help me get rid of the shackles of cold ice and dark chains. Of course, as early reward, I will give you an "incredible" sequel monster." The mysterious man in black robe said, revealing a scar-covered palm.
Under the illumination of the crimson halo, countless small silk threads surged out from his palm, and instantly formed a "metal iron box" larger than the palm. Against the backdrop of power, it fell into Dake's hands.
"You can take out the mysterious man who can take out the monsters in the order without hesitation, and the strong man with extraordinary pressure when he appears. It seems that your order level... has reached a level that I cannot understand for the time being. Carefully sense, there is still a rare professional aura on you. In this way, are you... a god? Even if not, please tell me your title." Dark respectfully bowed and asked.
"Of course." The mysterious man in black robe readily agreed:
