Chapter 38 The reason for Jue Kong to come here

Shen Lang's face was full of disbelief just now. It seemed that he could not understand why the monk opposite him could easily catch his thunderous punch so easily.

Fortunately, it seems that Ling Xuan behind him also knows the mystery of this formation. After Ling Xuan's explanation, Shen Lang also knew the strangeness in the 12 Dutian formations. He knows that it is not that he is not strong enough, but that this formation is really too mysterious.

Therefore, Shen Lang's confidence was not wiped out, but now he is no longer as arrogant as before. Instead, after stepping out, he looked at the monk opposite him, asked about his magic number, and spoke with an extremely polite attitude.

Although both sides seem to be in a tit-for-tat state, I think Xinyan has already explained the reason to the monk, so naturally this person would not really think that Ling Xuan and others are enemies of Daxiangguo Temple. This is just a test of their strength.

Therefore, this person did not ignore Shen Lang's inquiry, but politely reported to him and told him why his Dharma name was.

After hearing the magic number in his mouth, the scene suddenly fell into a mysterious silence.

I thought that the person in front of me was just a monk who was trained to protect the temple since childhood. At best, he was a very capable person and might not be a real Taoist monk.

But after hearing this person calmly speak his Dharma name, I immediately changed my view of him. I believe that other people who know the many rules in Buddhism will also know what this Dharma name represents.

From his mouth, he said that the Dharma names mentioned generally are definitely not those that anyone can easily use.

Awareness of emptiness, awareness of awareness, and emptiness of emptiness.

In the public's understanding, Buddhist disciples' Dharma names often contain the words "Explanation, Awareness, Enlightenment, and Emptiness", but in fact, this is not the case. These simple words represent different realms in Buddhism and cannot be used as Dharma names easily.

Among these words, the realm represented by the word "Jie" lies in human feelings, perception, etc., where perception comes from human senses, and perception is the process by which humans draw knowledge and judgment through observation.

Looking at everyone's life, no matter whether it is calm or ups and downs, they will definitely experience countless things and meet countless people. In the process of dealing with people and things, under the ruthless baptism of time, people will gradually enrich their experiences.

When a person's experience reaches a certain level, he often involuntarily begins to recall everything he has done. This process is what Buddhism calls the process of being aware of oneself.

Just like the story of a blind man touching an elephant, what everyone sees in his eyes may not be correct, and what they think in his heart may not be correct. Everyone has different views on things and has different feelings. Therefore, being able to achieve "awareness" is a state, while being able to achieve "awareness without being confused" is another state.

In addition to the word "Jue", the word "Cun" in this person's Dharma name is also another state in Buddhism.

When it comes to the word Kong word, perhaps many people think of Shaolin monks in various martial arts novels. It seems that the word Kong word Kong is both compassionate and powerful, but in fact it is indeed the case.

The word "empt" in Buddhism refers to what we often say is the four elements that are empty. The "four elements" refer to the great Tao, the great sky, the great earth, and the great people. When combined with the "all empty" behind it, it refers to the empty Tao, the sky, the empty earth, and the empty people.

The four elements are empty. Perhaps some people will simply understand it as being arrogant and not taking everything seriously. However, this is a misunderstanding among people. In Buddhism, the real four elements are empty actually because they hope that people can see everything openly, see clearly, and no longer be obsessed with certain things.

Some people are obsessed with Buddhist principles. When they wake up, they will chant Amitabha Buddha first. They will burn incense and worship Buddha every day on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar month. Some people will even chant scriptures first when they wake up in the morning, and even chat with others. They will say endless Buddhist teachings from time to time.

Little do they know that such behavior is inferior, which is what Buddhism calls attachment to appearances.

The true meaning of the word "empty" is to make people see everything clearly. If they cannot see things thoroughly, it will be a burden for themselves. If they are overly addicted to it and cannot extricate themselves, it will definitely be difficult to improve themselves.

The attainment of Tao in Buddhism lies in practice. Whether it is self-cultivation or mind cultivation, if words and deeds are not improved and the body and mind are not released, there is no way to be said to be empty in all four elements. If you cannot achieve the true four elements, you will never be able to attain Tao.

At this moment, the person who confronted Ling Xuan and others could actually use the words "Awakening" and "Empty" representing two realms as the Dharma name. It can be imagined that his identity would definitely not be as simple as a monk who protects the temple.

Since even I could hear the extraordinary in this Dharma name, Ling Xuan, who was knowledgeable, would naturally not know what this Dharma name meant. When he heard Juekong report to his home, Ling Xuan was also full of doubts. He couldn't help but walk to Shen Lang and asked respectfully to him.

"It seems that we are abrupt. The master turned out to be a monk of the Jue generation, but why did he come here in person with such a master and block our actions?"

Ling Xuan’s questions at this moment are definitely not groundless. If this person is really a monk of the Jue generation, then this person can even be on par with the abbot of Daxiangguo Temple. In this Daxiangguo Temple, his identity is particularly respected.

With such an identity as this person, he would naturally not do the protection of the temple like an ordinary monk. It can be said that as long as the Daxiangguo Temple is not at the critical moment of survival, a monk with such an identity will never show up easily.

Ling Xuan and others did not intend to make a big fuss about Daxiangguo Temple this time. They were just worried about the safety of the three of us, so they went to Daxiangguo Temple at night. No matter from that perspective, the monks of the Jue generation had no reason to personally come forward to stop them.

"This donor, you are obsessed with the face."

Hearing Ling Xuan's inquiry, the monk named Juekong smiled slightly, his smile full of wisdom.

"The status in Buddhism is insignificant. At that time, the Sixth Patriarch Huineng was just a small practitioner beside the Fifth Patriarch Hongren. However, the Fifth Patriarch sat down with many monks, and the one who finally obtained the true Zen teachings was still Master Huineng."
