Dr. Zhong Maosen is currently an assistant professor of finance at the School of Business at the University of Texas (Brownswell). He is 29 years old this year. He received a bachelor's degree in economics from Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China in 1995, a master's degree in business administration from Louisa Tech University in 1997, and a doctorate in finance from the university in the United States in 1999. He often listened to the tapes and VCDs of Master Jingkong's lectures, and had in-depth thinking on life issues. He collected some scientific research works on the scientific community's confirmation of life reincarnation in the United States. We ask him to introduce the scientific research results of some famous American psychologists in proving the cycle of life and death reincarnation, and help us understand the facts of life and death reincarnation from a scientific perspective and understand the truth of the universe and life.

Thanks to my teacher, Master Jing Gong, and the Australian Pure Land Academy, for arranging this opportunity for the Ms. Zhong Maosen to introduce the scientific research results of the American scientific and medical community on the cycle of life. Since my research major is not reincarnation, I have a superficial understanding. The reason why I want to report this topic to you here is to attract bricks and to trigger our thinking and discussion on the life phenomenon of reincarnation. If there is any inappropriateness in the report, I would like to criticize and correct me.

Most of us have a fear of disasters and death, and fear mainly comes from a lack of understanding of the truth of life. If we understand where life comes from and where death goes, our fear of death will naturally disappear. And I have always been very curious about the life issue of reincarnation. Do people really have reincarnation? Curiosity and curiosity drive me to collect a lot of scientific research papers and works on this area in the university's libraries, databases, and computer networks. When collecting information, I unexpectedly discovered some advanced countries in the United States and the world.

The academic community has had a history of in-depth research on the scientific research topic of life reincarnation for decades. Many famous university professors and psychiatrists use a large amount of scientific evidence to prove that the samsara of life does exist. The topic of reincarnation belongs to the category of psychiatric medicine in the United States, and there are countless papers and works. I have read some materials and selected several wonderful cases of famous psychiatric workers on confirming reincarnation and introduced them to you. I mainly introduce three cases, which come from the following three famous reincarnation experts:

In a hypnotic state, this mental patient recalled that he was a sailor on a USS Shark submarine named Jim during World War II. The submarine was sunk by a Japanese destroyer fleet in the waters near Manila, Philippines on February 11, 1942, and all the American crew members (including Jim) on the boat were martyred.

The patient Kelly described in detail to Dr. Brown in a hypnotic state. On that day, the submarine was submersible in Manila waters. Jim was not on duty and was resting in the bedroom inside the boat. Suddenly, an alarm sounded inside the boat. It turned out that it was the discovery of the Japanese destroyer fleet in front. This case confirms that reincarnation does exist and life will not end. We just rotate and sacrifice ourselves in endless time and space. Case: Indian girls in this life know their family members in their previous life.

This case comes from a scientific research book [20 Reincarnation Cases] by Professor Stephenson of the University of Virginia in the United States. The first draft was published in the 1966 album of the 26th American Psychological Research Association. What I read was his third revised version in 1992.

The Indian girl in the case is Swarnlata. She was born on March 2, 1948 and lives in a city called Panna in India. She can tell her past life when she was four years old. Dr. Brian Weiss, a famous psychiatric psychologist, graduated from Yale Medical School in 1970 with a doctorate in medicine (M.D.). He taught at the University of Pittsburg and Miami University, and has been engaged in clinical psychiatry for more than 30 years. This case is excerpted from Dr. Weiss’s representative work [Previous Life and Present Life] published by Dr. Weiss. This book uses simple words to describe in detail Dr. Weiss’s experience of observing and treating a psychological patient and discovering that she has had many reincarnations. Every sentence recorded in his book is true.

Dr. Weiss' female patient is Catherine, a laboratory lab lab at the Miami Medical Center where Dr. Weiss is located. She is not well-educated and honest and simple. She grew up in a Catholic atmosphere. She is also very indifferent to the concept of reincarnation and does not believe it at all. She was less than 30 years old at the time and had a fiancé named Stuart. Katherine suffers from depression, always nervous and fearful, often having the same nightmare, and even sleepwalking. During the hypnosis treatment of Dr. Weiss, when Catherine died in a certain lifetime and before she was reincarnated, there were often invisible spirits to speak to Dr. Weiss through the patient's mouth. Dr. Weiss called them Masters (gods), and these gods could speak to Dr. Weiss through the patient's mouth. The voices of the words of the gods were not Catherine's voice at all. Dr. Weiss recorded them all. The words of these gods are highly intelligent and philosophical, and they were definitely not revealed by this simple-minded female patient. What kind of life are these gods? It is still a mystery in science at present. The teachings of these gods are similar to ancient Eastern philosophy. Combined, they may help us understand the spiritual level of these mysterious lives.

Back to the point, Catherine was a German soldier in her previous life. After she died in the British and American plane bombing, she said: "I feel like I have risen from my body. I have no body now, but just a spirit." Soon, Catherine's voice suddenly became sonorous and powerful, obviously the voice of the gods, and began to speak to Dr. Weiss. The above is what the gods said to the doctor. This is consistent with what Lao Tzu said in Chinese Taoism. Lao Tzu said: "My great trouble is that I have a body." This is roughly the same as what Buddhism says. Buddhism says that the first affliction of the affliction of view and thinking is body view, and it is a wrong view. The body will die. When we stick to the body as me, we lose the "true self". The Buddha teaches us to find the "true self".

The god continued by the mouth of the patient Catherine, "Life is endless, people will never die, and they are not born. They are just spent in different bodies and spaces, never ending." "The reason why people want to live in the world in the form of physical things is to do things or pay off their debts. People come to the world to remember the situation in this life and forget the situation in their previous life. In their lifetime, everyone will have bad habits and hobbies, such as greed, lust, etc. You must overcome these habits in this life, otherwise the habits will be brought to the next life and will be heavier in the next life. The same is true for debts. The debts that have not been paid off in the previous life must be brought to this life to pay back, and more. Only when this life is paid, can you be more relaxed and free in the next life. The life situation in your next life is completely created by you." The above is a live recording of Dr. Weiss.

The words of these gods are quite similar to Buddhist scriptures. The Buddha said that cause and effect are all about the three lives and are self-received. The good and evil done in this life determines the quality of life in the next life. The so-called: If you want to know the causes of the previous life, the recipient will be in this life. If you want to know the results of the next life, the author will be in this life.

Below is another speech by a god to Dr. Weiss through the mouth of a female patient Catherine. It was recorded as scientific research materials: "There are infinite levels of life in the universe. Our (referring to gods) are still relatively low. There are saints at a higher level than us. Only they can see the past and the future, and can help us and teach us how to do it." The ten Dharma realms in Buddhism refer to the fact that the sentient beings in the universe are roughly divided into ten different levels of life, six levels of ordinary people: heaven, human, Asura, animals, evil ghosts, and hell; four levels of saints: shravakas, pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas. There are infinite levels in each level. Buddha is the most ultimate and perfect level of life in the universe, and everyone can achieve this ultimate and perfect level of life through practice.

Finally, there was a very exciting passage from the gods, which was recorded by Dr. Weiss word for word. The gods said through the mouth of the female patient: "Each of us is equal and the same." Dr. Weiss didn't understand, so he asked the gods: "Each of our appearance, shape, and living grades are different. Why do we say that we are equal and the same?" The gods used metaphors to answer Dr. Weiss' question: "Diamonds are colorful, but because there is dust on the diamonds, the light does not show. Our surface inequality is just like the thickness of dust on the diamonds, and our hearts are equal and the same as diamonds can emit light."

This is exactly what Sakyamuni Buddha revealed to us: "All sentient beings have the wisdom and virtues of Tathagata, but they cannot be attained by delusions and attachments." The equal nature of each of us is like a colorful diamond, while our delusions and attachments and selfishness are like dust on diamonds. The thickness of dust determines the level of our life. The thickest dust is the hell path, followed by evil ghost path, animal path, and then the Asura path, human path, heaven path, shravakas, pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas. Buddha is a person who completely removes dust. Practice is to remove selfishness, delusions and attachments from these dusts, so that the gems of self-nature can shine.

Catherine has told a lot about the experience of reincarnation in her previous life, and it is recorded in detail in the works published by Dr. Weiss. She said that she had reincarnated on the earth in total, with a time span of four to five thousand years, and the geographical span is all over the world, including Italy, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, Egypt, Morocco, the United States (who has been an Indian), Japan, etc. She has been a man and a woman, a soldier, teacher, maid, slave, and poor, etc. She also has reincarnation on other planets! Catherine and Dr. Weiss also met in her previous life. She said that Dr. Weiss was her teacher for a lifetime and taught her history and geography. Due to time constraints, there is no way to report it in detail to everyone. If you are interested, please read the book [Previous Life and Present Life] by yourself.

Later, Dr. Weiss helped more than a dozen patients to restore their memories of their previous lives by hypnosis. Some of them also encountered some of the same gods and used the patients to give direct teachings to Dr. Weiss. Dr. Weiss recorded the words of these gods to him and wrote them into a book titled Messages from the Masters [Messages from the Gods], which was also very popular.

Through these medical discoveries, Dr. Weiss completely changed the mind of traditional medicine and completely believed in the cycle of life and death. Before publishing this major medical discovery, he hesitated and hesitated. Because Dr. Weiss himself had a high academic reputation, if he published the anti-traditional medical discovery, such as reincarnation, it might be severely refuted by the medical community and ruined his reputation. However, the living facts were in front of him, and this serious and honest scientific worker could not ignore it. After repeated consideration, Dr. Weiss resolutely decided to devote himself to science, and published the book ManyLivesManyMasters [Previous Life and Present Life] in 1988, publishing the facts of reincarnation to the world.
