Chapter 29 The Three-Headed Dog(1/2)

This is Filch talking to Mrs. Norris.

The few little wizards hiding in the prize display room were frightened.

Rigg waved his wand at the other four, telling them to follow him.

Several people quietly walked towards the door away from Filch's voice.

Just as Neville's robes passed the corner of the display room, they heard Filch enter the trophy display room.

"They're here somewhere." Rigg heard Filch mutter under his breath.

"Probably hiding."

Mrs. Norris let out a rough meow. Harry had never heard a cat meow so harshly.

"Go this way!" Rigg said to everyone in an inaudible voice.

The five people tiptoed along a corridor filled with armors.

In order not to make any noise, they walked very slowly.

Gradually Filch could be heard getting closer and closer to them.

Rigg tightened his wand nervously.

If it doesn't work, I can only give it to Filch secretly.

But I wonder if the teachers can find out who cast the magic, Rigg thought with some worry.

Suddenly, the familiar and strange sounds of the trio rang out.

Mrs. Norris also suddenly became quiet.

I don't know what happened, but Filch's footsteps gradually faded away.

The five people waited quietly for a while, no one moved.

The corridor was quiet except for the sound of the wind passing through.

Rigg carefully lit the wand.

Lumos, his newfound magic.

It seems to work well.

Rigg carefully wrapped his hand around the top of the wand so that only a few rays of light came through.

It just illuminates the five people standing together again.

"I think we've gotten rid of Filch," Harry said brokenly.

He leaned against the cold wall and wiped the nervous sweat from his forehead.

Neville and Ron were already sitting on the ground.

"I told you." The domineering energy in Hermione's usual speech returned.

"We must return to the Gryffindor common room quickly," said Ron, "the sooner the better."

He really didn't want to catch cats with Filch anymore.

"Malfoy lied to us," Rigg said to Harry.

This made Rigg very unhappy, and he actually helped Harry plan it all night.

Now the efforts are all in vain.

"Filch knew that someone was going to the trophy room, and he was a little Slytherin wizard. It must have been Malfoy who revealed the news to him." Rigg analyzed in a low voice,

Harry nodded silently, he thought so too.

To be honest, he was quite happy that he didn't have to embarrass himself in front of Hermione and Neville.

"Let's go." Rigg suggested.

Since Malfoy didn't really come to duel, they had to go back quickly.

No one objected, and the five people started moving against the wall again.

It's really dark in the corridor.

Rigg didn't dare to keep lighting his wand for fear that Filch would see him from any corner.

They had just walked about ten steps when they heard the handle of a door rattle.

Something suddenly jumped out of a classroom in front of them.

It's Peeves.

Neville, who was trembling with fear from the dark corridor and Filch's unknown appearance, couldn't help but let out a sharp scream and ran away.

But darkness and fear affected his vision.

Neville panicked and bumped into the armor in the corridor, which made him dizzy.

It also caused the armor in the entire corridor to fall one after another like dominoes.

The clang of the armor falling to the ground echoed throughout the castle.

Rigg closed his eyes in pain, it was over now.

Sure enough, from downstairs, they heard a strange and loud continuous meowing.

And there was the sound of Filch thumping up the stairs.

"Run!" Rigg shouted, taking a few steps past Neville.

The five people ran at full speed down the corridor, and no one looked back to see if Filch had followed.

Because the wonderful meowing sound kept approaching them.

Peeves was also following behind them, not far nor near.

Peeves' laughter serves as a guide to Filch.

They skirted doorposts, ran down corridors, went up and down stairs.

In the end, even Hermione, who had memorized the map of Hogwarts Castle, couldn't recognize where they had gone.

Rigg ran at the front, dragging Hermione, who had lost all strength.

Hermione's long curly hair was now all spread out, and the rubber band had fallen into nowhere.

The air around Rigg was filled with the scent of her shampoo or possibly body wash.

Harry, Ron and Neville followed Rigg panting.

They ducked past Peeves and ran for their lives.

He fled to the end of the corridor and slammed into a door.

Unfortunately, the door is locked.

"It's over!" Ron whimpered.

Neville began to cry again, sobbing quietly.

Rigg quickly took out his wand, but Hermione was faster than him.

They heard footsteps, and Filch was limping towards them.

The wonderful meow had become hoarse, and Filch angrily told her to shut up.

But wonder still screams.

"Oh, come here quickly," Hermione said roughly.

She knocked on the door lock and whispered, "Open the Alaho hole!"

The lock clicked and the door suddenly opened.

Rigg seemed to wake up from a dream.

grass!

He knows this scene!

Rigg didn't really want to go in.

But Hermione, who thought Rigg was stunned, grabbed her through the door.

The five people rushed in and quickly closed the door.

Rigg looked at the scene in front of him, thinking much faster than usual.

Merlin's manicure.

Harry didn't even look back, he put his ear directly to the door and listened carefully.

They heard Peeves leave quickly, and Filch cursed angrily.

Mrs. Norris was calling to comfort Filch.

Miraculously stopped barking now and suddenly disappeared again.
