Harry handed the backpack to Rigg in confusion and trust.

Harry's heart ignited hope again, and he looked at Rigg expectantly.

Rigg poured out parchment paper, today's textbook, chocolate frogs, and large chicken drumsticks wrapped in paper but still cool...

Ron yelled: "I knew you ate the last chicken leg!"

Rigg searched intently, and heard Harry's unconvinced retort, "I didn't eat it!"

Finally, from the bottom of the backpack, Rigg found the replaceable quill that Harry had brought with him today.

Rigg returned the backpack to Harry and picked up the messy quill.

Looking at Rigg's confident smile, Harry and Ron held their breaths.

Rigg picked up his wand and pointed it at the quill.

"Nib recovered!"
