Volume 2: Hundred Ghosts and All Beings Chapter 66: Nightmare (Part 1)(2/2)
The girl whose hair she grabbed had already been shaken into chaff. Even so, she still endured the pain and shook her head at the girl under the bed, begging her not to come out.
"Bah, just wait. When my uncle and the whole village have discussed how to deal with you, you will know what life is worse than death."
After that, the man closed the door hard, dragged the girl outside, took out the belt from his waist, and whipped her.
"The guy who eats your wife, I provide you with delicious food and drink, but I don't want you to let this evil star go."
The man struck hard, his expression was ferocious, and he seemed to be venting his anger.
The belt hit the girl's skin, which immediately turned red. She trembled and hugged herself tightly. The pain made her jump up and down. She covered her body here and there, and burst into tears.
"Ah, I was wrong, I was wrong."
The girl cried and begged for mercy.
But the man didn't listen and kept beating.
The girl under the bed crawled out, and through the crack in the window, she saw the girl being beaten.
Her hands were tightly gripping the wooden board, her eyes were scary, and there seemed to be something burning in her gray pupils.
A few days later, the girl appeared in her room again.
After the last incident, she thought she would never come again.
This time I came with her and brought some steamed buns with me.
"Qianqian, are you hungry? I secretly hid it for you."
She originally wanted to refuse, but remembering the scene of the girl being beaten because of her that day, she couldn't bear it, so she took it over.
"Why are you so nice to me?"
"Ah!" the girl yelled. She was startled and almost choked to death.
"It turns out you are not mute, you can speak!"
She silently rolled her eyes, and thought about it carefully, she had indeed not said a word in front of anyone for so long, and those people only regarded her as a beast and an evil star.
"I can talk, but I don't understand much."
"What do you mean you don't quite understand?" The girl was stunned for a moment, then realized what she meant by not quite understanding.
She didn't quite understand what these words meant.
She knew how to say something, but when it came to describing something in detail, it was very difficult for her to understand.
But even so, she was very happy because she finally had a friend with whom she could chat.
"Probably because I think we are very similar." She also replied to the question she just asked.
"It's very similar?" She looked at herself.
Seeing her actions, the girl burst into laughter and said, "Oh, that's not what I meant."
"What does that mean?" she couldn't help but ask, but what she got in return was the girl's laughter again.
Seeing her smile, she became anxious and quickly grabbed her with her hands, her face bulging with anger.
But as soon as they met, the girl's expression suddenly changed, and she quickly stood up.
"Qianqian, I...I remembered something else. Let's talk about it next time."
"So sudden?" She felt that the girl turned against her so quickly, and saw her pale face with pursed lips and sweating.
She wondered if she had hurt her.
She sat in the room, thinking that she must apologize to her the next time she meets her because she doesn't know her name yet.
Just as I was thinking about it, the door opened again with a bang.
Several big and thick men strode in holding various sticks.
