Chapter 281: Dove of Peace(2/2)

That indescribable "sense of harmony" still permeated the hearts of the two of them, and even became stronger.

St. George's hands that were holding the war hammer slowly loosened their grip. He placed the war hammer on the ground and spread his hands.

His expression began to become strange, as if peace and struggle were alternately playing out on his face.

"What are these pigeons...?" St. George's voice was low and full of vigilance. His eyes were firmly fixed on the group of white pigeons pecking quietly.

Seth did not answer immediately, but leaned down and gently picked up one of the pigeons.

The pigeons were so quiet in his hands that it was heart-stopping, and there was an almost human calmness in his eyes.

He raised his head, held the dove in front of the two of them, and said in a low and clear voice:

"Brave New World."

"..."

Saint George was silent for a moment. His eyes moved from Seth's face to the dove, and the vigilance in his eyes turned into deep thinking.

Finally, he spoke slowly, with a certain analytical precision in his tone:

"It has two abnormal characteristics: weapon neutralization and hostility suppression."

Xia Xiu, who was also observing the pigeons, rubbed his chin and took over the conversation:

"As long as they get close to them, everyone will lose the will to fight, become docile, and eventually give up action... These are really genuine doves of peace."

His tone was relaxed, yet somewhat teasing.

After Seth heard this, the corners of his mouth turned up, revealing a wry smile.

He shook his head helplessly:

"Everyone in your organization is like this. They always like to interpret things through force or control."

After Seth finished speaking, the dove in his hand jumped slightly, spread its wings and flew to high places.

Its wings drew an elegant arc in mid-air, and between the gentle flaps of its wings, a faint glow fell, like the disappearing stars in the night sky.

Xia Xiu watched the pigeon disappear from the end of his sight, his eyes condensed slightly, and a glimmer of inquiry flashed in his golden pupils.

His voice was low and calm, breaking the silence at the moment:

"So, can you explain specifically these pigeons - and this 'brave new world' you're talking about?"

He paused for a moment, with a hint of thoughtfulness in his tone:

"This is the second time I've heard the words 'brave new world'.

The first time was from the mouths of the fanatical believers of the Gear Orthodox Church.

Those guys are trying to use the power of the Broken God to mechanize and gear Terra, and are trying to build a mechanical kingdom on land. Their so-called 'new world' is essentially an extreme expression of plunder and slavery."

Seth listened quietly to Xia Xiu's description, with a faint smile on his face. He lowered his head slightly, looked at the pigeons standing quietly, and then said:

"These pigeons are completely different from the delusions of the Gear Orthodox Church."

His voice was low, as if telling some secret truth:

"When the flowers spontaneously appear and cover approximately 90% of the land surface of Terra, these doves will be all over Terra... They will fly in every sky and every inch of the earth. Their wings will not bring destructive wars

, will not create the so-called mechanized slavery, but another form of end."

"Under the flying white bird, life will come to an end, and a beautiful new world will be born."

These words made the air suddenly freeze. Xia Xiu frowned, stared at Seth with his golden eyes, and his tone sank slightly:

"The end? What kind of end do you mean?"

Seth's voice was low and slow, as if every syllable carried an indescribable weight.

"The end of death."

He spoke slowly, with an unquestionable authority in his voice.

"At that time, the entire Terra will experience an unparalleled harmony."

Xia Xiu stared at him quietly, his golden eyes shining with inquiring light, but did not interrupt, as if he wanted Seth to continue talking.

"The weather will become clear in all areas, the sky will no longer be shrouded in haze, and the sun will shine on every land.

The ambient temperature will be stable in a range recognized by most people as 'comfortable', neither hot nor cold, as if Terra itself is bidding farewell to the end of its life."

There was a touch of indifference in his voice, as if he was stating an established fact rather than an unacceptable disaster.

"The air pollution will be cleared, and all exhaust gas, poisonous fog, and even the remaining smell of war will dissipate with the calm before the end.

The whole sky will be clean, frighteningly clear."

Seth paused for a moment, and his eyes slowly glanced at Xia Xiu and Saint George in front of him.

Saint George's fingers tightened slightly, but still did not speak, while Xia Xiu just waited calmly.

"People around the world will realize Terra's fate, and its inevitability."

Seth's voice deepened slightly.

"They will understand that they cannot escape the ending, and the fear, anger, and despair deep in their hearts will be healed by an invisible force. They will accept it all and remain silent."

"Violent conflict incidents will be significantly reduced."

Seth continued, the corners of his mouth slightly raised in an unpredictable arc.

"There are no more fights, no more hatred, no more conflicts for survival.

In this short period of time, the world will truly achieve the ultimate peace that mankind has been unable to achieve for thousands of years."

"And when the white bird soars across the world—"

Seth's eyes suddenly sharpened, but his tone still maintained that calm and suffocating calmness.
