Chapter 277: About the political transition of the Naga Ring(2/2)

Camille smiled and answered in a very written language.

Frederick on the side spoke calmly, his voice low and powerful.

"Thank you for taking the trouble to come during this sensitive period. Your Majesty hopes to establish a more solid cooperative relationship with the federation through this meeting."

Axel raised his eyebrows slightly, looking away from Frederick and looking at the girl in the cloak.

The girl never spoke, she just lowered her head and drew something quickly on the drawing board, seemingly not paying attention to the conversation around her.

Her silence made Axel feel a little uneasy.

The girl in front of him always gave him a vague sense of threat, which was very obvious.

"Your Majesty is already waiting for you in the living room in the executive hall."

Camille made a gesture of invitation and nodded slightly:

"I am confident that you and your team will have a fruitful meeting."

"Then it's better to be respectful than to obey."

Axel nodded slightly, glanced at the three of them again, and then led the delegation deeper into the hall.

When he stepped into the executive hall, he could not help but feel a little cautious and expectant in his heart.

After all, the portrait of the fourth sword-bearer in the Kingdom of Heaven has basically not been circulated on the market. People's first impression of Hugh Abraham is often - an unlucky thing!

From his "debut" to the present, everyone who has come into contact with this bad luck thing will die a miserable death.

If you accidentally offend someone and get his attention, then this person will really have a problem in this life!

However, when Axel saw the rumored Lord of the Abyss for the first time, he couldn't help being slightly stunned - it was completely different from the cold, oppressive or evil image he imagined. What he saw was a kind of...

Surprisingly...gentle.

The light in the hall is soft, and behind a large desk, a blond young man is sitting upright, seemingly completely immersed in the work in front of him.

He has a slender figure, a handsome and peaceful face, and his golden pupils are not sharp or aggressive at all, but reveal a deep wisdom and warmth.

On his left side, an elegant top hat was placed casually, and next to it was a well-tailored black windbreaker, draped on the back of the seat. It looked unassuming but extremely refined.

A gorgeous silver cane is also casually leaning against the wall next to the desk.

What surprised Axel the most was the "Book of Sages" on the corner of the table, which symbolized the supreme power of the Naga Ring.

This gleaming book, which contained countless secrets and authority, was casually put aside at this moment, mixed with the documents, and was not placed in a conspicuous or sacred position at all.

It was as if it was just an ordinary tool, not endowed with any deliberate majesty.

Xia Xiu noticed the arrival of the group, he slowly raised his head and showed a gentle smile.

His voice was soft and low:

"Your Excellency, Speaker of the Parliament, welcome to Sercassa. You have had a hard journey, please take a seat."

There was no pressure in his tone, but a sincere calmness.

Axel sat on the chair in front of him under Camille's guidance.

Raising his eyes, Axel looked at Xia Xiu again, trying to find some hidden threat in the other party's behavior, but he found that every movement of the other party was unhurried.

Axel was secretly wary in his heart, but he also had a complicated interest in the uniqueness of this Lord of the Abyss.

He spoke softly and responded in a formal tone:

"Your Majesty Abraham, on behalf of the International Confederation of Wizards, thank you for taking the time to meet with us. The order and peace displayed by the Ring of Nagas under your governance is impressive."

Xia Xiu put down the document in his hand, gently folded his slender fingers on the table, and looked steadily at Axel across from him.

A gentle smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and his tone was calm and sincere:

"The support of the Wizards Federation has played a vital role in the reconstruction of the Naga Ring. This gratitude will be borne in mind by me and the people here."

Axel nodded slightly, obviously satisfied with the polite words.

However, Xia Xiu's tone suddenly changed, like a strong wind passing over a calm lake, causing new waves.

"But, then again..."

His voice was slightly deeper, and the golden pupils in his eyes twinkled like cold stars.

"I don't think the Wizards' Federation will sincerely welcome the Authority to take over the Ring of Naga. After all, the Hundred Layers World does not seem to intend to implement a truly open policy to the real world."

His gaze swept over all the representatives present, and his half-smiling expression made the atmosphere subtly tense.

The air in the hall seemed to freeze for a moment. The members of the visiting delegation subconsciously adjusted their sitting postures, while Axel's brow wrinkled imperceptibly.

Before he opened his mouth, Xia Xiu continued:

"I still hope that you can carefully refer to the One Hub and Two Systems of the Kingdom of Heaven."

"Times have changed, everyone."

This sentence was loud and clear, and there was an unstoppable momentum in the calmness.

His eyes were somewhat insightful and scrutinizing, as if he could directly see through the deep-seated concerns of the Wizards' Federation.

"Are you still living in the closed vision of the past and unable to see the changes in Terra's current situation?"
