Chapter 189: The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the Primarch (Apostle), and the Apocalypse War.(2/4)
The Holy Machine was suspended in the air, its huge mechanical body exuding unrivaled pressure, while the fourth sword-holder in the Kingdom of Heaven looked down on the entire battlefield like a king.
There was a hint of coldness in his eyes, and his golden pupils were like a lion overlooking its prey, carrying endless vigilance and scrutiny.
He gently squeezed his hand, and the "Lever of Heaven" vibrated weakly, sensing the uneasiness in the air.
Xia Xiu's eyes were fixed on the void in front of him, and he could see through some kind of power hidden behind it.
His voice was low and he said to the void: "Come out, isn't it just for this moment that you spent so much time setting up a trap?"
"I didn't even know I was so valuable."
He raised his eyes and shook his head playfully, with a hint of mockery in his tone, but his eyes were still cold.
"In order to see me, you actually have to trouble four people to work together to kill a person who is on the verge of a miracle—tsk, it's really an extravagance."
His smile faded slightly, with a slight curve at the corner of his mouth, but his eyes were still as cold as ice.
His helpless and slightly tired expression revealed complex sarcasm and vigilance towards his enemies, silently questioning their good intentions:
"You can just give me a meeting gift. Why go to all this trouble?"

When Xia Xiu's voice finished echoing on the silent battlefield, heaven and earth responded to his question.
The bloody sky began to vibrate violently, the entire space was pulled by invisible forces, and the surrounding air became extremely heavy. Then, the space suddenly twisted and collapsed, and the sky seemed to collapse, gradually revealing deeper phenomena.
It was a vision from an unknown realm, carrying irresistible divine pressure.
Deep in the sky, four huge scrolls slowly appeared, like scrolls in the apocalypse, suspended in the air one by one, each scroll exuding different brilliance and power.
The first volume:
Slowly descending from the clouds, its outer layer is a pure white sheepskin scroll. The texture of the scroll is as delicate as silk, and the smoothness is faintly revealed with sacred brilliance.
The edges of the scroll are inlaid with delicate gold threads, like ancient sacrifices, carrying an untouchable sacred aura. The ancient words are densely covered on the surface of the scroll. The words are not ordinary symbols, but like living creatures.
A faint light radiates from each letter. The words seem to be protected by some invisible force, conveying the eternal truth.
At the opening of the scroll, a white wax seal tightly sealed it.
There is a curved bow printed in the center of the wax seal, with the bowstring taut and the arrow pointing forward, symbolizing the power of conquest.
This chapter is not over, please click on the next page to continue reading! This bow symbolizes the emperors who once ruled the world, bringing victory and power, but it also symbolizes the spread of plague and the destruction behind victory.
A wreath of thorns is carved around the wax seal. The meticulous carving tells the price of conquest and glory. The golden light flickers slightly, symbolizing the glory of rule and the omen of destruction.
Second Book:
It descended immediately afterwards, tearing out from the sky with crimson flames.
The wax seal of the book has a blood-red color, and there are two crossed swords printed in the center of the seal. Small cracks are faintly visible on the blades, which have experienced countless battles and killings.
The pattern of a few drops of blood on the handle of the knife is looming, symbolizing the destruction of war and the pace of death.
The wax seal is surrounded by carvings that look like burning flames. The flames jump and roll on the wax seal, symbolizing the ruthlessness of war and the uncontrollable violence.
The flames are engraved on the crimson wax seal, as if announcing that the madness of war will sweep everything and devour everything.
The third book:
The moment it appeared in the air, the atmosphere between heaven and earth suddenly became heavy and oppressive.
This scroll was sealed with a sign of famine. The black wax seal was covered with fine cracks. It seemed that the seal was about to break at any time, revealing the endless despair within.
In the center of the seal is a scale. The scale is slightly tilted and one end falls heavily to the ground, symbolizing imbalance and injustice.
The tilt of the scale represents the imbalance caused by famine. The scenes of starving people and plagues seem to be embodied in this seal.
The carvings on the edge of the seal are withered grains, symbolizing the lack of food and the despair of life. The black wax seal carries endless darkness, like the shadow of death covering the earth.
The fourth scroll is the most terrifying vision:
Its wax seal is gray-white, covered with a thin layer of white mist, and has an icy air, symbolizing the coming of death.
A curved sickle is engraved in the center of the seal. The blade of the sickle is like a sharp weapon that seduces the soul, indicating the end of life.
The edges of the seal were carved with symbols of dead bones and death, and the whispers of countless dead souls echoed in the sky.
Gray light wanders over the seal, cold and biting, and all life will come to an end at this moment.

The four scrolls rotate slowly in the air, emitting a strong mysterious light, and there is a sense of oppression in the air, as if... the omen of the end of the world is about to come.
There was deathly silence between heaven and earth, only four scrolls made a faint buzzing sound, and countless souls were praying in low voices.
Suddenly, a loud cry of horses came from deep in the sky, breaking the dead silence.
"Uuuhuhuh——"
The sound was like thunder, shaking the heaven and earth.
As the sound approached, a white horse galloped out of the sky, its hoofs were like iron, crushing the void.
The knight on the white horse wears a crown on his head, holds a bow in his hand, and his silver-white cloak flutters in the wind, like a symbol of victory.
His posture is upright and his face is expressionless, but his eyes are full of endless desire to conquer.
He raised his bow with the arrow tip pointed forward, symbolizing eternal conquest and domination.
The knight on the white horse stretched his hand into the air and firmly held the first seal. The pure white scroll glowed slightly in his hand, symbolizing the call of power.
A voice came from beside the living creature:
"Come on!"
"And he saw a white horse, and the man who sat on it had a bow, and a crown was given to him. Then he came out, conquering and seeking to conquer—"
Immediately afterwards, the red horse neighed out, bringing with it the smell of blood and fire.
The horse's body was covered with a dark red glow, as if it was dyed red with blood.
The knight held up a bloody sword in his hand, with traces of war still remaining on the blade, faintly exuding the aura of killing.
The knight on the red horse has an expressionless face, full of coldness and ruthlessness, followed by countless flames of war and corpses.
His appearance made the atmosphere of heaven and earth heavier, and the air seemed to be filled with the smell of blood.
He stretched out his hand and held the second seal. The blood-red wax seal trembled slightly in his palm, indicating the coming catastrophe.
The second living creature said:
"Come on!"
"Then another red horse came out, and power was given to the man who sat on it to take peace from the earth to kill one another, and to him was given a great sword—"
Then, a dull sound of hoofbeats sounded, and the black horse slowly appeared in the sky. Its fur was dim, absorbing all the darkness in the world.
Riding on the black horse is a knight holding a scale, with an iron face and heavy eyes.
His scales are slightly tilted, symbolizing the unbalanced order in the world and the advent of famine.
The black horse knight silently stretched out his hand and grabbed the third seal. The black wax seal glowed faintly in his hand, indicating that an endless darkness was about to cover the earth.
The third living creature said:
"Come on!"
Then, there seemed to be a voice from among the four living creatures, catering to the third living creature:
"One denarius buys one liter of wheat, one denarius buys three liters of barley; do not waste the oil and wine!"
Finally, accompanied by a gust of cold wind and putrid smell, the gray horse slowly came from the depths of the sky.
Decay and death followed behind the knight on the gray horse. All the breath of life withered under his horse's hooves, and the breath of life was gradually withdrawn.
The knight holds a curved scythe, ready to harvest life at any time. His/her face is expressionless, and his eyes are full of indifference and heat, like a combination of contradictions, symbolizing the irresistible power of death.
The knight on the gray horse stretched out his hand and held the fourth seal. The gray-white wax seal sent out a biting cold air, which was the call of death.
The fourth living creature said:
"Come on!"
"And they saw a gray horse, and his name that sat upon him was Death, and Sheol followed him; and they were given authority to kill a quarter of the people on earth with sword, with famine, with pestilence, with wild beasts—"

The four knights, like the executors of the apocalypse, descended slowly on their horses with their own marks.
Step by step, they walked toward the fourth sword-holder in the Kingdom of Heaven, and the atmosphere became increasingly tense and solemn.
Xia Xiu stood in front of the four knights with a calm expression on his face, maintaining his usual calmness and confidence.
