Chapter 3 New World Paranormal Organization Peace and Friendship Covenant Organization(2/2)

Tours drove west for some distance along the Grand Central Parkway, one of the main thoroughfares from the airport to Manhattan.

Vehicles shuttled on this expressway, surrounded by landscapes unique to the New World - dense buildings, green parks and the water of the Hudson River flashing by from time to time.

As vehicles gradually approach the city center, high-rise buildings begin to become denser and traffic flow becomes busier.

"Have you heard of Hell's Kitchen in the Edici Federation?" Tours asked Xia Xiu.

"Hell's Kitchen?"

Xia Xiu raised his eyebrows slightly.

He had read relevant reports from the Edici administration. A reporter from the New York Times once went to West 30th Street with a police guide. He wanted to investigate the multiple murders that occurred there. He assigned 39th Street and 10th Street to West 30th Street.

One particularly notorious property on the strip is called "Hell's Kitchen," and the entire neighborhood is said to be "probably the meanest and filthiest place in the city."

The area is named for its past poverty, high crime rate, and history associated with gang activity.

"It seems you know that area, which stretches from 34th Street to the south, 59th Street to the north, Eighth Avenue to the east, and the Hudson River to the west. This area provides transportation, medical and medical services to the business district of Midtown Manhattan.

Warehouse infrastructure support—and all of Hell’s Kitchen.”

Speaking of Hell's Kitchen, there is a lingering gloom on Tours' face.

"Ever since New York fell and became the city of the New World, that place has completely turned into a piece of shit. Gangsters, secret sects, followers of evil gods, followers of the Four Monarchs, dependents of the stars, monsters from other worlds, scum, and killers

, a perverted murderer, a streaking psychopath..."

"No one is fucking normal."

As he spoke, Tours skillfully turned at the entrance of the Queens Midtown Tunnel and crossed the East River, which is one of the important passages into Manhattan Island.
