Chapter 81: Shu Block Edition

At this time, three more people came in the store. A couple came with a child in their teens and wanted to buy four treasures of the study. The owner of the store was fascinated by Yang Jing and did not disturb him. He went to greet the family.

"There is something wrong with this book!" When Yang Jing saw the sixth page, he felt a vague feeling.

The main reason is that this page six gives Yang Jing a different feeling.

After carefully comparing with the previous pages, Yang Jing took out his magnifying glass and looked closer and carefully, and then he discovered the difference between this page and the previous pages.

The papers in this book are made of cotton paper, and they should be the best cotton paper.

Mung paper is a type of velvet paper. In addition, rice paper and mulberry paper all belong to the category of velvet paper.

Since the Song Dynasty, most of the printed printed papers were made of velvet paper or hemp paper. By the Ming Dynasty, hemp paper was used less and more cotton paper was used.

This book uses cotton paper.

But the cotton paper on the sixth page is really a little different from the previous pages. Although the paper on the sixth page is also made of good cotton paper, this paper is a little more detailed than the previous pages. If you don’t have a magnifying glass to observe carefully, it will be difficult to see with the naked eye alone.

If Yang Jing's intuition hadn't worked, he wouldn't have discovered the difference between this piece of paper.

The most important thing is that in addition to the slightly different papers, the characters printed on this piece of paper should also be slightly clearer than the characters in the previous sheets.

Of course, this difference in clarity is also difficult to detect. How can I say that feeling is like the difference between a copy and an original.

When Yang Jing saw this sixth page, the page of paper gave Yang Jing the feeling that it was the original, while the first few sheets of paper looked like a copy. Although the difference was extremely subtle, Yang Jing still found the difference under the observation of the magnifying glass.

Yang Jing put the magnifying glass in his pocket, resisted the urge to use the ring to identify it, and continued to read the book.

This book "Huajian Ji" records a total of fifty poems, each page and a total of fifty pages.

But when Yang Jing finished reading the whole book, he found five different pages in total. Just like the sixth page and the first five pages, the same is true for the other four pages.

Obviously, these five pages are not the original product of this book!

The naughty child in the family of three who just arrived was exactly the age when dogs and cats were tired of it. Even here, they were still noisy.

"I don't know how this parent trains this child. With such a rough personality and practicing calligraphy and painting, how can I practice calligraphy and painting well if I can't stand it?" Yang Jing looked at the naughty child with a little disgust, shook his head speechlessly, and focused his attention on this book "Huajian Ji".

However, Yang Jing did not continue to read the book again. The book itself is not very good and cannot withstand many times of turning it around.

"Well, those five pages are better than other pages in terms of paper and printing precision, but the gap is not obvious. Obviously, someone deliberately inserted these five pages into the book in a disordered order."

Yang Jing thought about it, picked up the book again, looked at the binding position, but found no traces of new disassembly. This book is a thread-bound book, and the binding threads look worn out, and it seems that the binding thread can be broken with a little force.

"From the binding line, these five pages should not be inserted by the store owner. In other words, these five pages were likely to have been inserted by someone a long time ago! Could it be..."

An idea suddenly appeared in Yang Jing's mind, and even he was shocked by his own thought.

However, if you think about it carefully, Yang Jing feels that his idea seems to make sense.

After all, after the disasters of the Yuan Dynasty, even in the Ming Dynasty, Song Dynasty editions were rarely seen. Song Dynasty editions are not only known as "one page, one or two gold" in modern times, but also very expensive books in the Ming Dynasty.

"Are these five pages real Northern Song Dynasty engraved? They were obtained by someone from the Ming Dynasty. In order to protect these five pages, he inserted them into this book "Huajian Ji" in order..."

This is the idea that Yang Jing suddenly came up with just now.

If the Song Dynasty was a general development stage of woodblock printing, then the Ming Dynasty was the heyday of woodblock printing in my country, and both technology and other technologies were surpassed that of the Song Dynasty. Even the home and chamber engravings of the Ming Dynasty were not inferior to the official engravings of the Song Dynasty on the whole.

In terms of the woodblock printing technology of the Ming Dynasty, even if the Song Dynasty engraving is reprinted, it is not inferior to the original work.

If this conjecture is true, then there is absolutely no problem technically.

If it weren't for my intuition just now, Yang Jing wouldn't have seen the difference between these five pages and other pages.

In order to confirm his conjecture, Yang Jing used the holy ring, and the holy ring really gave an answer that made Yang Jing take a deep breath.

"Page 45 of the family-engraved version of "Huajian Ji" during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, 1538, Xiao Yuesheng."

"In the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty, "Huajian Ji" engraved on the Shu version 5 pages, 1145, Jing Du."

Seeing this answer, Yang Jing could only take a deep breath, afraid that he could not help but scream.

The 45-page "Huajian Ji" was indeed a home-printed version from the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. As for what Xiao Yuesheng was, Yang Jing was too lazy to explore.

But these five pages of the Song Dynasty version of "Huajian Ji" are really amazing.

These five-page books are not only Song Dynasty engravings, but also the extremely rare Shu engravings now, and the thin gold-style Shu engravings that are almost impossible to see now!

The most important thing is that the one who printed these five pages, or the one who was in charge of the engraving at that time, turned out to be Jingdu.

Jing Du, whose courtesy name was Xianmeng, often referred to Jing Xianmeng as a referee. During the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty, when Emperor Gaozong of Song Dynasty, Zhao Gou became the emperor, he served as the SC Transportation Commissioner.

Transshipment envoy was an official position that appeared in the Tang Dynasty in my country, and was a central or local official position in charge of transporting things. However, after the Northern Song Dynasty, the power of Transshipment envoy increased greatly and actually became the highest executive officer all the way. For example, the SC Transshipment envoy served as Jing Xianmeng, who was in modern times, was equivalent to a high-ranking official of SC.

Yang Jing was not sure what political achievements Jing Xianmeng made for the country and the people in his position as a transfer envoy, but he made a huge contribution to our country's culture in this position.

After the Jingkang Incident of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Central Plains fell, and it was difficult to see the "Seven Histories". Jing Xianmeng was in Shaoxing in 144, that is, in SC Mei. Shan added additional collections and patches to the "Seven Histories" and presided over the engravings of "Song Book", "Qi Book", "Liang Book", "Chen Book", "Wei Book", "Northern Qi Book", and "Northern Zhou Book", which are famous in the world-famous Shu carved large characters, "Seven Histories of the Mountain.

Later, under his advocacy, the Meishan area also engraved classics and historical works such as "The Literature of Zhou", "The Spring and Autumn Annals", "The Book of Rites", "Mencius", "Records of the Grand Historian", and "The Three Kingdoms", which made great contributions to my country's cultural heritage.

And these five pages of "Huajian Ji" were actually printed by Jing Xianmeng. If this can be found out, it will definitely be of great value!

This book must be won!
