There was only one place where they were buried, that was, the bardo river flowing out of the nine dynasties, surrounding the nine dynasties in a circle, and eventually disappeared into the underground bardo river.

This river is the only river in the entire outer nine vehicle. It originated from the lower Mount Sumeru of the nine vehicle. It is said that it is the convergence of the river Styx from the eight treasure merit pool in Mount Sumeru. It passes through the temple of the gods and Buddhas of the nine vehicle heavens in the city, and is influenced by Buddhism, and has turned into divine water. In the end, the divine water passes through the seventy-two Across cities and flows to the nine vehicle outer races, becoming the only way for the nine vehicle mortals to cleanse the karma of cause and effect and enter the Pure Land.

The water in the Bardo River is biting cold all year round. If ordinary people get a little water, they will enter their body. A serious illness is small, so it is not impossible to die. Therefore, no one will use the bardo and the middle water. There are only a few ascetic monks outside the Nine Vehicles outside the Ring City to withstand this cold. They will bathe in the river water once a day to cleanse their mind and body. This has become a way to identify whether the ascetic monks outside the Ring City are qualified.

Because the mortals of the outer nine vehicles disappear into a large vortex leading to the underground at the end of the bardo river, which surrounds the outer nine vehicles, which represents the path of reincarnation for all things. Therefore, the people of the outer nine vehicles will put the dead into the front of the bardo river, allowing the dead to circle the city in the river for a week, and eventually disappear into the vortex at the end, symbolizing the end of the life of the deceased.

In order to facilitate this special burial ceremony, the mortals living in the nine outer veins built a solid stone staircase at both ends of the entire bardo river, which led to the river water. At every distance, there were ascetic monks who were specifically responsible for burying, transporting these corpses into the river water. In the nine outer veins, these ascetic monks were only responsible for carrying the corpses. Because they had long been relieved of such filthy objects, they were also considered to be people with unclean bodies. The Buddhist scriptures are noble things and cannot be chanted from unclean mouths, so these ascetic monks could not read them. For this reason, they cut off their tongues and read the scriptures in the heart to prove their respect for the Buddhist scriptures.

Due to the shortage of such as corpses, there are no more than twenty ascetics in each burial area, and the number of people who die outside the nine out of every day is tens of thousands, so a large number of corpses are often trapped on these steps. Perhaps because of the cold air in the nearby bardo river, the corpses placed here will not corrupt. Over time, it has become a special morgue. Usually, there are hundreds of corpses waiting to be placed in the river and stay on the steps. In most cases, there are even tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands, densely packed throughout the steps, making people feel a sense of awe of death when they see it.

It took a lot of money to carry thousands of corpses from the entrance of Jiucheng outside the city to the Bardo River in the middle of Jiucheng, two hundred miles away. When Xu Changqing arrived at the destination with these people, it was already late at night. Although the people responsible for carrying the corpses were all exhausted, they entrust the corpses to the ascetic monks here and gave the corresponding donations. Except for the relatives and friends of a few victims who would stay here and wait for the corpses to be buried completely in the water, the rest of the people were unwilling to stay here for a moment.

At the beginning, Sun Xianzhi, Maitreya Bodhisattva and others did not understand that Xu Changqing wanted to follow these mortals to carry corpses and go to the bardo River. According to what they thought, if Xu Changqing was interested in this mortal river, it would be much faster to go directly. If he was interested in these corpses or corpses, they could not think of the value of these corpses and mortals to use. However, when they followed the corpses and mortals to see the corpses wrapped in coarse cloth neatly placed on the steps of the burial area, they all felt that the words of mantras and seeds absorbed by the Dharma Image Golden Body began to integrate into their golden bodies on their own, and were soon completely refined. Among them, Sun Xianzhi and Pure Land Buddha, who absorbed the most golden mantras, even evolved a new magical power of golden body.

"Thank you for your advice." After everyone felt the changes in the golden body, they all showed joy and saluted Xu Changqing at the same time, thanking him.

"No need to be polite. This is the opportunity for fellow Taoists, not intentionally." Xu Changqing nodded humbly, then turned to look at the step-like morgue in the burial area ahead, and said that he didn't expect that in this dirty place, there was a fellow Taoist temple with fellow Taoists. Who was the person who didn't build a temple here?"

As he spoke, he looked at Maitreya Bodhisattva inquiry again, but Maitreya Bodhisattva did not answer, but just smiled and stopped making any statement.

Although it was already evening, the burial area around the Zhongyin River was still as bright as day. Every distance from the steps of this area, a bronze lamp post nearly ten feet high will be erected. Four glass oil lamps hung at the top of the lamp posts. The light emitted by the oil lamp is no less than the electric lamps in the world, and even more than that in the world.

The lamp oil used in these oil lamps is all from the only fish, karmic fish, the bardo. This fish is transparent, fluorescent at night, and feeds on corpses. Before death, it will swim to the shore by itself. The fish oil extracted by special methods can be bright and never fade, and the light is like daytime. Since this fish feeds on corpses, mortals who ride outside think that this fish is a divine fish that specifically cleans up the karma after they die, and the light ignited by fish oil is a beacon to illuminate the stool. In addition, this fish itself contains a kind of cold poison, so no one will eat this fish.

Most people will only feel the light from this fish oil lamp without any other abnormalities, but Xu Changqing and Sun Xianzhi are different. They both have an extremely deep understanding of the samsara of the underworld, and they are even part of another samsara of the underworld, so they can easily feel a trace of extremely special samsara from this light. This samsara of the underworld is not the entrenched aura, but the samsara, and the samsara seems to be closely related to a certain existence in the samsara of the underworld.

When he just saw the Bardo River, Xu Changqing felt that there was a different existence in this Bardo River. This existence was a complete Buddha country, a strange Buddha country full of the aura of the underworld, the corpse energy of the underworld, and the Buddha's essence. If this Buddha country did not contain any reincarnation energy, perhaps Xu Changqing would have thought that this was the Buddha country of the Bodhisattva who lived on the natal Buddha of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

Just when Xu Changqing was wondering who placed a Buddha kingdom at the bottom of the bardo river, the guiding aura emitted by the fish oil lamps had automatically revealed the answer. Groups of dog-like monsters filled with yin and corpse energy followed the guidance aura and jumped to the shore, then pounced on the newly arrived corpse, biting the corpse, and tore the last trace of vitality on the corpse to pieces. These monsters are the condensed souls, and a special seal formed by the lights, making them unable to be seen by mortals, and they cannot see any living things. So even though the scene on the mortals at this moment looked extremely terrifying, in the eyes of mortals, it was as common as they saw, all of them were silent corpses, without any abnormalities.

Soon, these dog-like monsters swallowed all the anger on the new corpse, and then dissipated all the monsters at the same time, turned into a ball of black fog, flew over the bardo river, and then mixed together and expanded into a black cloud. Then a contiguous skeleton appeared and made some ritual-like dance moves, accompanied by the sound of singing Sanskrit chanting.

"Master of the Cerdar Land? This is the Buddha's kingdom of our Vajra Cerdar Land." Seeing this scene, the Vajra of Wanmiao Mountain, who was also the first time he came here, couldn't help but exclaim. Then he turned his head and waited for Maitreya Bodhisattva to question the Lord of the Treasures and Miao Pagodas. What's going on? Why is the Buddha's kingdom of the missing Master of the Cerdar Land under this bardo river?"

In Vajrayana, the Master of the Crystal Land is an extremely special tradition of Taoism. Although he belongs to the Vajrayana Dharma system, he has its own lineage. All those who practice the Master of the Crystal Land are corpse cultivation and ghost cultivation. Usually, many practitioners in the Buddha realm who are close to their lifetime but are unwilling to reincarnate will mostly turn to practice the Master of the Crystal Land, and then be called a Vajrayana corpse, Bodhisattva ghost, so the Master of the Crystal Land is also known as the Master of the Netherworld Sect in the Buddha realm.
