In Wu Qiang's eyes, the young leader who seemed to be just a formality never left the conference room. At the right time, he quietly proposed his great plan full of wisdom.

"This... was written by Director Zhang?" Wu Qiang was both surprised and insane. He would rather believe that this was written by Wen Tianming, who was unknown.

"Well, what he left before he left, tell me not to disturb your discussion and take it out during rest." Wen Tianming was used to seeing magical people, and had a premonition that what Zhang Yifu left had had some effect, but he didn't expect that it would shock Wu Qiang so much, "Director Wu, is this practical?"

"Wait, I'll ask first." Before Wu Qiang answered this question, he had to figure out who Zhang Yifu was. "What is Director Zhang's professionalism?"

“Power system.”

"I'm sure he hasn't touched industrial design?"

“As far as I know, no.”

"Would you have any experience in this at work?"

"We should have been exposed to some in the power plant compliance project." Wen Tianming replied, "But Director Zhang's knowledge... we can't understand it. We have already shown it during the national competition."

“There are industrial design projects in the national competition?”

"How is that possible? It's a power system competition." Chang Siping on the opposite side finally couldn't hold it in, "Director Wu, let me see that piece of paper..."

"Please check it out..." Wu Qiang quickly pushed the paper back, "It's amazing... he is obviously a person without a background in industrial design, but the professionalism he proposed... he doesn't know how to compare with Professor Chang. In short, it must be enough to guide me."

Everyone in the audience found it funny and didn't believe it.

Wu Qiang had been arguing with Chang Siping for a long time, and obviously no one was convinced. But as soon as he saw what Zhang Yifu wrote, he immediately expressed his consent. Could it be that Zhang Yifu was even better than Chang Siping?

They didn't think Wu Qiang's words were from the bottom of his heart. They just exaggerated them a bit willful.

Although Chang Siping could not understand Wu Qiang's move, he believed that Zhang Yifu was unfathomable and began to read this piece of paper with suspicion.

The first page of paper mainly talks about some key points, difficulties, and recommended welding parameters in the production and manufacturing of economizers. Such as welding current, nozzle diameter, and argon flow rate, all proposed very accurate recommended parameters, which are slightly different from the parameters calculated by Chang Siping himself. However, they are all within the theoretical acceptable range. In addition, there are also explanations in welding details, such as when the arc swings horizontally, which type of operations should be completed in one go without a break gap, etc. The degree of precision of these small details is far beyond the one described in Chang Siping's plan. What the professor is responsible for is only theoretical results, not empirical skills. That should be the experience of welding technicians.

Has mother Zhang Yifu worked as a welder?

Chang Siping also showed a considerable surprise on his face and quickly turned to the second side.

As soon as I saw a few key keywords, Chang Siping shouted out "Ah!"

Isn't this exactly where I've just been arguing for a few hours?

Horizontal position symmetric welding and oblique 45° symmetric welding!

The two solutions have similar processes, and the only difference is the welding angle. The two sides are fighting red, which is exactly this small angle.

In the eyes of laymen like Wen Tianming, this is difficult to understand. The pipes are round anyway, and aren't horizontal and vertical welding?

This welding process is not visually complex. It can be compared to inserting wings into the pipe. The fin with excellent heat transfer performance is this wing. The whole process is to weld the rectangular strip fins onto the pipe to achieve magical heat transfer effect.

So what Wen Tianming understood in his mind was to place a pipe on the ground, with the mouth of the pipe facing him, then symmetrically on the left and right, place two rectangular flat pieces, and paste the flat edge onto the pipe wall. This process is called welding, or to be precise, horizontal welding.

Therefore, he couldn't understand. Isn't it enough to just stick it up like this? It's so comfortable and simple to stick a bar across it. Why do you have to be full and put two rectangular flat pieces at an angle of 45° and then stick them. Why is it difficult and tiring to stick it downward?

It's like a man and a woman are in that place. She doesn't feel irritating when doing it on the bed. She insists on letting the woman's upper body slant to the ground and make an angle. It's hard to understand and unreasonable.

In fact, Wen Tianming's understanding is generally correct, but he just ignores a small place.

That is - the tube is round.

Put a horizontal and vertical flat sheet vertically onto a circular tube. There must be a gap at the patch. No matter how small the gap is, there will definitely be. In fact, in mathematics, the place where the flat sheet and the circular tube can really be bonded is just an infinitely thin straight line, and the rest are "slits". Such sticking is obviously impossible to be reliable.

Fortunately, we invented the magical thing of "electric welding". Under the burning of high-temperature arcs in a short period of time, the metal can be deformed, and then the hard metal will become plasticine. We can pinch two pieces of plasticine together and let it cool, so that it becomes one piece.

Therefore, during the welding process of fins and round tubes, the two joints connected between the east and west become plasticine for a short time, resulting in the deformation we need, thereby making up for the gaps, welded them together with the tubes in a tightly tactile manner, and thus forming a solid one.

Be aware that this is not the end!

After all, steel is plasticine or not, it just becomes plasticine for a short time under high temperature conditions.

As the steel cools, the properties of plasticine disappear, and the steel properties and thermal expansion and contraction begin to play a role. Therefore, in the process of transforming from plasticine back to steel, something called "weld shrinkage force" is formed. Because the weld becomes cold, the steel begins to shrink, which affects the fins and steel pipes. When this force reaches a certain level, the fins with lower steel properties will deform and be forcibly stretched and twisted by this force.

This deformation is called "wave deformation" or "distorted deformation".

This is the basic physical characteristic of all things, so this deformation is impossible to avoid. Therefore, the industry has created a standard that requires the degree of deformation, indicating that deformation to a certain extent is acceptable, and if the quality is passed, it will not meet our standards.

The structural design difficulties of this fin economizer have long been overcome by Zhang Yifu, so Chang Siping's main job is to make the products possible and meet national standards and can be put into production and operation.
