Chapter 187 is very cute

This is Alexander's naval monument. In fact, ancient buildings can be seen almost everywhere when wandering around the city. Although they are not the main destinations of Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo, Alexander's profound historical background is enough for Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo to think about it carefully.

It was noon to arrive at the ruins of the Alexandria Lighthouse, and there were not many tourists, and the vendors were too lazy to greet Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo. What was more surprising was that Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo were met by handsome Egyptian men who also came here to visit and were asked to take a photo, although the tour guide had warned Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo not to take a photo with the locals before.

But because the handsome guy is too handsome, he still can't help but take pictures. Perhaps Nalan Shuqi and Yunluo are more special races in their eyes. In the unpopular routes where there are not many Chinese people, Nalan Shuqi and Yunluo were indeed unexpectedly welcomed quite warmly.

The main building of the lighthouse ruins is obviously new. Not only is the sea water here blue and flawless, but looking up at the sky, it is indeed much bluer than the hometowns of Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo.

Street vendors are sorting out goods. I admire them for being able to set up stalls so calmly under the sun. What I admire even more is that they all have an optimistic and beautiful attitude, and they enjoy it no matter what job they do. Perhaps only by bringing happiness to everyone can things be easier to sell. Most of these goods are made in China, so it is indeed popular all over the world.

A row of discarded hookah bottles actually ignore their functions. In terms of appearance, they are still very delicate and distinctive. If they can be smaller, it is also a good choice to take them home as a craft.

There are many people fishing on the coastline, and house prices on the coast of Alexandria are also quite high. It seems that people from all over the place hope to have a house facing the sea and bloom in spring.

The sea water near the Mediterranean is shining with sunlight. It is very pure and light green. The sea a little further away has gradually turned dark blue, very beautiful and clear. There are many chairs and umbrellas on the beach for tourists to chat in a daze facing the sea. This may be the way for Westerners to take a vacation, find a place and stare quietly together...

The lunch of Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo was the long-awaited local grilled fish meal in Egypt. The restaurant was near the lighthouse. It was similar to the Egyptian meal the night before, except that the fries and barbecue were replaced with grilled fish and shrimp.

I still can’t eat side dishes and sauces mixed with spices, and the grilled fish feels a little burnt. Sometimes I think the biggest obstacle to going abroad is that I’m not used to eating local food. Who makes our Chinese food so exciting and nutritious?

Although the main meal of the grilled fish meal was not very used to it, I was still moved by the sincerity and simplicity of the waiter. I happily used up the local delicacy. He asked Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo for ballpoint pens as a small gift to his three children.

They said that this way they could show off to other students that they had imported products from China, but suddenly they found that the inconspicuous things in China were actually very marketable in many places.

At noon, a prayer came from the mosque at the door, and the imam reminded the Muslims to pray. In Egypt, mosques and minarets can be seen everywhere. Devout Islamists pray five times on time every day, which once again confirmed that the power of religious belief is huge.

The dried and salty grilled fish meal ended, especially the moisturizing of the drink. Egyptian water was very expensive. When I heard that Coke was 10 pounds, fortunately I got a cup of warm black tea from Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo's cute leader. After drinking it, a strong sense of happiness immediately surged into my heart. Egyptian black tea was very sweet.

But it is not greasy at all. Sweet foods can easily make people feel happy. Perhaps they rely on this daily drink to maintain a happy mood.

The streets of Alexandria are cleaner than Cairo, and there are still unfinished buildings. But there will be fewer numbers, especially the houses near the sea are well built. The Egyptians also pay great attention to enjoyment. It can be seen from their beds and decoration that they may not have to take into account the superficial work and will have more energy to take care of their lives.

The cats here look very beautiful and energetic. They can't help but leave them all in the camera. After using lunch, they are tickling it with difficult movements, and their expressions are so cute.

The kind driver uncle, Nalan Shuqi and Yunluo, came from Huaguoyutong's tourist bus. You can see many domestic cars on the streets of Egypt. Only then can you learn that they are also constantly developing the international market, hoping that they can continue to win a larger market with high-quality products.

After lunch, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo moved to the next attraction, the ancient Greek-Roman amphitheater and the famous Pompeii Pillar. Although there are many attractions and time is very compact, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo seem to have no feeling of fatigue in this scene. The constant freshness and unexpected harvests enriched the entire journey.

When I was driving, I saw a couple in love on the beach. The girl was still wearing a black robe, which made Yunluo feel very novel. Will there be some obstacles in their communication?

However, Arab girls can speak with their eyes, wondering if it is because of this robe and veil that they have such charming eyes. However, Alexander girls are already more open and fashionable. You can see that there are many girls wearing jeans and trousers on the street, which is rare in Cairo.

There are bus stations and tourist buses along the Mediterranean coast, but the small buses here are quite crowded. If you are traveling by yourself, you are still recommended to charter your own buses. The fuel is cheap anyway, and Egypt is not particularly convenient and comfortable in public transportation.

When we came to the ancient Greek and Roman amphitheater that had been completely turned into ruins, it is said that the original object is similar to the arena of Rome. At that time, people living in this city were even more Roman than the Romans. They liked to take a bath, loved poetry, and watched dramas and gladiators.

Worshiping art and heroes, Yunluo once saw relatively complete remains in Rome, but the remaining buildings are now full of holes. It seems that this is another attraction that can only be imagined.

The emblem of the city of Alexandria in Egypt - Pompei Pillar (Savari Stone Column). Pompei Pillar, also known as the Knights' Column, is a pink Asven granite stone column up to 27 meters high. It was built in the period of the Roman emperor Diocletian around the first century AD. The column tops with flower-shaped stigmas. The stone column was originally part of the Temple of Sarapiyong.

The Temple of Sarapiyong is the most important temple of the Greek-Egyptian god Sarapis. It was originally built during the reign of Ptolemy III. The temple was destroyed after only a short period of existence. Only stone pillars were preserved and became the navigation beacon for the navigators. The huge stone pillars have stood for 1,600 years.

It turned out that during the reign of the Roman emperor Diocletian, the Roman general Ahri, who was stationed in Alexander, rebelled. Diocletian personally led a large army to attack and besiege the city for 8 months. At that time, the city of Alexander was famine and starving everywhere. Diocletian transferred food to him and distributed the food to help the victims.

To commemorate this move, in 297 AD, Egyptian consul Pothtumos erected a stone pillar in the center of the square of the temple of Seripebius. To this day, there are still monumental words engraved on the foot of the pillar: "The pillar is established by the invincible patron saint of Alexander and the impartial Emperor Diocletian."

Now the surroundings of the stone pillars are dotted with some works of art from the pharaoh period, mainly two black granite sphinxes (the head is defective) from the late 18th Dynasty and two red granite sphinxes from the Ptolemaic period. As for what is called the Pompei Pillar.

It is purely a misunderstanding: in 48 BC, the Roman general Pompei fled to Egypt and died at the hands of the Egyptians. Later, when the European Crusaders invaded Egypt, they mistakenly believed that Pompei's ashes were kept on the top of this giant pillar, so they called this pillar the Pompei's Pillar.

The residential building next to the ruins of Pompei's Pillar, various satellite TV receivers on the roof, very special balcony and colorful curtains. Yunluo has always been fascinated by the Arab world, because the more mysterious it is, the more different it is, and the more fascinating it is...

After visiting the last attraction, Nalan Seqi and Yunluo took a car back to Cairo. During the driving process, Yunluo was digesting and savoring the experiences he had seen all day long. Although Alexander was not a place that Yunluo was particularly yearning for at first, it gave Yunluo a great surprise, beautiful natural scenery and profound historical and cultural heritage.

Yunluo fell in love with this place. Alexander overall gave Yunluo a feeling of being a "special zone" and a port garden-shaped city in Egypt, a place suitable for life and vacation.

The people here are still very enthusiastic. The most important thing is that it is indeed a good place for handsome guys to make a living near the Mediterranean. For girls like Yunluo who have never seen any world, observing passers-by along the way is a visual feast.

After arriving in Cairo, they happened to encounter a traffic jam. Nalan Seqi and Yunluo slowly moved to the dock where they were taking a cruise ship and prepared to start a night tour of the Nile River.

The pier where the cruise ship is docked, the night view project on both sides of the Nile River is not very good, and the buffet on the boat is relatively average, but the highlight of the night tour of the Nile River is belly dance and rotating dance, especially the rotating dance dance of the handsome Turkish guys. It is really wonderful. Unfortunately, the effect of the camera's night shooting dynamics is not very good.

I couldn't take a photo and share it with everyone. Because I had seen such a good dance, everyone consciously saved the self-paid project of watching Sophie dance when they arrived in Turkey.

The night on the Nile River is romantic and beautiful. After getting off the boat, it seems like it is pulled away from a dream. On the second day in Egypt, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo enjoyed a very pleasant time on a wonderful and fulfilling itinerary.

In fact, in Egypt, which is truly cultured, on the third day of the tour, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo saw a diverse civilization formed by a long history. In Cairo, there is not only Islam, which is now prevalent in the Arab world, but also Christianity, as well as the polytheistic religion of ancient Egypt with thousands of years of history.
