Chapter 199 I will give you a Buddha

Yingjili Village, Mingsha County, is the nine crossings of the Yellow River. Since ancient times, merchants have been in constant contact and the surrounding area is very prosperous. From the land to Dangxiang, the commercial roads connecting the Western Regions were cut off, and they became deserted day by day. Not far from the south of the village, there is an ancient temple. I don’t know when it was built, because it is offered to the Golden Buddha, and the surrounding herders worship it, and the incense is very prosperous.

Recently, the area of Tiandu Mountain is tense, and the war is about to break out, and the surrounding young and strong people are checked into the army by the Military Supervisor. People are worried about the safety of their relatives in the army, so they go to the temple to ask the Bodhisattva for peace, and believers come in a constant stream.

The incense is naturally inseparable from the prosperity of incense. The temple is so prosperous that it is finally targeted by the thief.

A wind suddenly broke out on this day, blowing yellow sand covering the sky. There was no pedestrian around, and no one in and out of Yingjili Village, which was already deserted. The ancient temple located outside the village seemed particularly lonely in the wind and sand.

In the main hall in the temple, Kang Gou is standing on the altar and pointed at the abbot below and said sternly: "The golden Buddha in your temple is so small and the incense is so prosperous. You must be greedy for money and refuse to change to a big one! Today, Grandpa became interested in the Buddha and invited a big golden Buddha in your temple to worship it with great pleasure! When chanting scriptures on weekdays, he also asked the Bodhisattva for some good deeds!"

The abbot looked at the big golden Buddha carried by the two thieves next to him and was crying without tears. His own golden Buddha was cast in copper and gold. What was the matter of this group of thieves? I don’t know which country kiln was made of it. It was abominable. If it weren’t for the extra smooth head on it, how could the Buddha look like? There was a layer of yellow mud outside, even if it was a gold costume for the Buddha statue. If my golden Buddha was replaced by such a thing, who would come to the temple to burn incense in the future?

Seeing a group of thieves as if they were evil, the abbot did not dare to force himself to say no, and said in embarrassment: "King, the Buddha saved all sentient beings and brought blessings to the world. How could he blaspheme so much? Besides, although our monks are bald, the Buddha is not."

"Huh" Kang Dog turned his head and looked at the Golden Buddha. It turned out that there was strange hair on it. "The Buddha is not bald, but you bald donkeys pretend to shave your heads, which shows that they are not sincere at all! No, the Buddha was originally bald, and it must be your fault. It was really abominable to change to a hair-like image! I will change to you a golden Buddha, how much good deeds have you done and how much good deeds have you accumulated! You are a bald man who recites the sutra for a lifetime, and you will not be able to change to a Buddha once!"

After saying that, Kang Gougou waved his hands repeatedly: "Quickly change the Buddha. We have done great good deeds this time. I wonder how many believers want to thank us! These thieves pretend to recite scriptures are not as good as we do for the Buddha!"

Everyone agreed in unison, and the two jumped to the base of the Golden Buddha, hugged each other, and with a "hey", they picked up the Golden Buddha from the base, and suddenly pushed it to the ground. They clapped their hands and jumped down again.

When the abbot and the monks saw it, they were just chanting the Buddha's name in a low voice, and secretly thought to themselves that they had committed evil.

Kang Gougou said loudly: "Okay, okay, put our big Buddha on it quickly, and this practice will bring about the merits of perfection!"

At this moment, several thieves came in from outside the hall. Each of them carried a bag, all of which were found in the temple, including the merit box, and all were searched for slimming. Finally, a thief next to him took a few oil paper bags, ran into the hall, and put the paper bag on the altar, opened it next to Kang Gougo, and said, "Haha, the people in this temple are indeed all thieves monks! Let's see what this is? A pack of beef, two fat chickens, and garlic is added! There are two jars of wine here, and only half of the jar is left. I have been drunk by the thief!"

One next to him put two jars of wine on the altar and pulled the plug open, and the wine smelled so much.

Kang Gougo smelled it hard: "Oh, it's actually a good wine sold from Song Realm. You bald thieves are happy! This time we broke it, how can you deceive believers like a person? This time, not only did you change to a big Buddha statue and accumulate good deeds, but also exposed the true faces of you bald thieves. Wouldn't you behave the way for heaven?"

The subordinates applauded, as if they were really doing great things for heaven.

The abbot put his palms together and recited the Buddha's name and said, "King, we are practicing the Buddhist Dharma here, so we are not afraid of these."

Kang Gougou glared at her eyes: "The Dharma of the Fan Earth? Then you will marry and have children? Young people, go and search again to see if these bald donkeys are hiding their little wives in the temple. I heard that thieves and bald people are the most hungry ghosts, and women are particularly concerned about sex. If we can find a few little wives, we will teach them the Dharma for the bald donkeys, which will save all sentient beings!"

"I really don't have this." The abbot shook his hand at Kang Dogdog repeatedly and almost cried.

The thieves shouted and put the searched property into the hall, and went out to search again in groups of three or five.

Kang Gougou watched his subordinate put the clay Buddha on the base, and tore the chicken on the altar to eat, and took a sip of wine. He whispered to his subordinate: "You should be careful, don't knock the Buddha statue, which will damage our merits!"

The abbot looked down and his heart was bleeding. How could he bear the feelings of the ancient temple that had been ruined by thieves for many years? How could he explain to the believers? He did not dare to resist. The thieves came into the temple because a little novice monk had a few more words, and he was cut off with one knife. And because a wise guest was slower, his head was chopped off. Who would dare to say one more word?

The thieves searched the temple and couldn't find any money or the legendary little lady, and they all returned to the hall to reply.

After finishing the drinking and meat, the Buddha statue was already ready, clapped his hands, jumped off the altar, pointed at the abbot and said, "We have done so many good things for the temple today. Remember to do more rituals for us and pray for some blessings to return to us! Otherwise, if your heart is not sincere, the Buddha will bring disaster to you!"

After saying that, he glared at the abbot fiercely, walked out of the hall with great strides, and shouted: "Little ones, bring that little golden Buddha with you, don't let the bald thieves deceive believers again! Let's go!"

The thieves responded to the promise, lifted the golden Buddha on the ground, carried bags of all sizes, followed behind Kang Gougo, rushed out of the main hall with a loud shout and ran out of the temple gate. In a moment, the abbot and the monks in the temple heard the sudden sound of horse hooves outside, and the thieves quickly went far away. The monks looked at each other and shook their heads and sighed.

The Buddhist temples near Huizhou have been looted by Kang Gou and his gang. Some of the incense-rich temples were robbed. Soon the believers donated money and cast another one. Kang Gou Gou was not polite, and he immediately went to grab it again when he heard about it.

As the two armies of Tiandu Mountain were tense, the war was about to break out, and all the young and strong men in the nearby tribes were conquered by the Xishou Military Supervisory Office. The local area did not even have the strength to deal with the gang of thieves, so they had to do whatever they wanted. Everyone near Huizhou had already snatched them, and Kang Gou Gou was getting more and more courageous and had already targeted the temples near Mingsha County.

Kang Gougou worked so hard that Bao Zheng's coin minting prison finally opened, and before the copper mine was mined, he casted the copper coins.

Now the situation on the front line is getting more and more urgent. The Kang dog in the rear is the sea that is wide and the fish leaps with the sky and birds flying, which is the most energetic time of his life.
