Regardless of human choice of religion, the Tathagata Buddha still has to carry out his own career, that is, to clear away the evil spirits in the three realms. Of course, the most important thing is in the human realm.
Tang Monk traveled west to seek scriptures, and along the way, he only destroyed some monsters that had gone from the Eastern Tang Dynasty to the West, not to mention the monsters that had not been destroyed, not to mention the monsters east of the Tang Dynasty. In fact, it is said to be an action of destroying demons, but why? The word "destroy" is in need of Shang Shu. In the heart of the Tathagata, in the state of Buddha, all sentient beings are Buddhas, and even those demons may become Buddhas.
Just like when Tang Seng went to the scriptures, Tang Seng finally became a Buddha because of the demons. If there were no demons along the way, how could he become a Buddha? Therefore, neither demons nor Buddhas, nor demons, and even there were not enough demons, he also asked Guanyin Bodhisattva to borrow him to become a Buddha. It can be seen that no one is a demon, all of them are Buddhas, because sentient beings are Buddhas. Without Buddhas, there would be no demons, and without demons, there would be no Buddhas. Therefore, the word "destroy" is not to let him die, but to transform him into a demon. Just like the Buddha's mother, Peacock King Bodhisattva, she was easily transformed into a member of Buddhism by the Buddha.
When the Tathagata Buddha had just carried out the devil-killing action, the ancient Buddhist genius Lan Deng Buddha passed away, leaving a relic, and entered the reincarnation to practice asceticism. Buddhism lacked a veteran for a while, and was still a little uncomfortable.
However, at this moment, the Buddha Tathagata could no longer stop his actions, because the demons had already known the actions of Buddhism and had prepared to counterattack Buddhism. In fact, among the three realms, no one was afraid of anyone. Only after the fight was formally started, can one be divided into one. Just like people admired Buddha but were not afraid of Buddha. The demon world was even more awesome. For Lingshan and Heavenly Court, they looked like they were not birds. Even if they could not defeat the gods and Lingshan Buddhism in Heaven, they could still escape to the Asura realm. It was a very terrifying world, but for them, it was very safe and comfortable.
Although the ancient Buddha Lan Deng passed away, Tathagata still arranged the next devil-killing action. With such a large Buddhist sect, the Buddha would of course summon everyone from all over the Buddhist sect, including Youtan's merits and joyful battle against Buddha Tang Monk, fighting against Buddha Sun Wukong, as well as Zhu Bajie, Sha Monk and Little White Dragon Sect.
The Buddha arranged some people to guard Lingshan, and the other people scattered all over the world to carry out demon-killing activities.
