Chapter 1139 Reunion Festival

Two days passed, and it was the Mid-Autumn Festival on August 15th.

The imperial cultivator was not fussy and was not enthusiastic about these festivals.

Qin Shang ordered a large table of dishes in the kitchen, and placed a large round table of pear blossoms and wood in the waterfront flower hall. A dazzling array of delicious dishes, red and green, meat and vegetables, with color, fragrance and taste.

The kitchen also made several flavors of mooncakes in advance, as well as snacks that children like to eat.

Chu Chen, Nan Mohao, Zixi and three children have all arrived at the flower hall, but no one has sat down.

"Jiuwei." Qin Shang looked at Jiuwei with gentle eyes, "Today is the day for your family to reunite, have a good meal with your parents."

Jiuwei kept his eyes silent, standing still without moving.

Qin Shang frowned: "What's wrong?"

Jiuwei pursed her lips and shook her head slowly.

Today is the reunion festival. He has a reunion dinner with his father and mother here, but his father rests alone in the bedroom.

...I felt so depressed.

But these words cannot be said.

"It's okay," he said, his voice very light.

Qin Shang said something in his ear with a low smile. Jiuwei's expression moved slightly, and there was a bright luster flowing in his eyes. Then he nodded obediently.

Touching his head, Qin Shang turned around and left.

After leaving the flower hall, Qin Shang went to the kitchen and packed a few dishes that his owner liked in food boxes, and took them all the way to the bedroom.

Compared with the previous few days, the imperial cultivator's spirits were slightly better. Although his eyebrows were still tired, he was less sleepy.

Qin Shang put a few dishes in the food box on the table, turned around and walked into the inner hall: "Master."

Emperor Xiu leaned against the brocade couch in front of the window and read a book. When he heard Qin Shang's voice, he said lightly: "Is Jiuwei going to have a meal?"

"Yeah." Qin Shang nodded, calming his tone, "The little guy was not very happy just now. Maybe he felt that the owner of the Reunion Festival was alone and had no one to accompany him. So I told him that the owner would have supper with him tonight."

Emperor Xiu stood up and walked out, unable to hear the emotion in his faint tone: "You will agree to me."

"Anyway, today is the reunion festival, and having a meal with Jiuwei is nothing." Qin Shang followed to the outer hall. "The little guy has a strong relationship and a deep mind. Instead of making him worried about gains and losses, it is better to let him understand his master's concern for him so that he can avoid his random thoughts."

The Emperor Xiu didn't say anything, and sat down at the table with his clothes.

Qin Shang sat down next to him and served a bowl of soup for Emperor Xiu, "What do you want to eat tonight? I will ask the kitchen to prepare later."

"Just as you like, just be lighter." Di Xiu spoke casually, not caring about what he had eaten, "Prepare a few dishes that Jiuwei likes to eat."

When Qin Shang heard this, Wen Ya's eyebrows and eyes opened with a faint smile: "Okay."

Emperor Xiu glanced at him, said nothing, lowered his head and drank the soup: "Have you finished copying the things I asked him to copy?"

"Not yet." Qin Shang shook his head, "The master knows that Jiuwei has an hour and a half of literature class after breakfast. The master has been unwell these days. He reads and does his homework by himself. He rests before lunch and half an hour after lunch. He uses it to copy books. In the afternoon, in addition to practicing martial arts with Shibawei, he has other homework, and copys it for half an hour before going to bed at night..."

He paused, "He originally wanted to copy for an hour every night, but I didn't let him go, and I didn't want him to stay too late."

Jiuwei is a transparent child.
